Abstract

This study aimed to examine the perceptions of Guidance and Counseling students on the ethics and innovation of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and its influence on the future counselor’s role. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed using a survey method with a Likert scale. A total of 134 students across three cohorts (2022, 2023, and 2024) participated in this study. The results showed that the 2024 cohort demonstrated a higher tendency to use GenAI and perceived it as a positive innovation, while the 2022 and 2023 cohorts showed greater ethical awareness in using the technology. This indicates a gap between technological proficiency and ethical sensitivity among students. The study concluded that GenAI offers potential benefits for academic innovation but must be balanced with ethical considerations to preserve the integrity of the guidance and counseling profession. These findings highlight the importance of integrating digital ethics into the educational curriculum for prospective counselors.

Abstract

Chronic dacryocystitis represents an ordinary ophthalmologic condition that develops when the lacrimal drainage pathways become blocked thus causing ongoing epiphora and continuous painful swelling and persistent infections. Onset of blockages more frequently results from idiopathic reasons but damage to the lacrimal pathways by thermal injuries stands as an important yet unrecognized factor that leads to major clinical outcomes. Early burn treatment of the face around the eyes can trigger progressive tissue scarring of lacrimal passages that might cause long-term blockages as well as infection development. A rare case of bilateral chronic dacryocystitis exists in a 24-year-old female because she neglected facial thermal trauma she experienced during childhood. The patient experienced persistent symptoms including epiphora in both eyes together with swelling at the inner corners of her eyes and drainage consisting of mucus and pus. Both of her tear duct puncta appeared narrow while the medial corners of her eyes showed small areas of swelling. The fluorescein dye disappearance test established severe blockage in both lacrimal ducts. CT contrast imaging showed that the bilateral lacrimal sacs were enlarged while simultaneously revealing duct obstruction together with no evidence of sinonasal mass lesions. The Staphylococcus aureus with low-grade Pseudomonas aeruginosa demonstrated in microbiological culture results while elevated inflammatory markers showed systemic inflammatory activation. The patient received systemic antibiotics and corticosteroids that led to remarkable clinical improvement before surgical planning could begin. The definitive treatment chosen was external dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) using silicone tube intubation because severe fibrosis together with septal deviation required treatment alongside polymicrobial colonization.

Abstract

In the decision of the Panel of Judges with Case Number 247/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Smd, only the wife and daughter of the Heir are entitled to inherit the inheritance. The Heir's brothers and sisters are hindered from inheriting by the daughter. Meanwhile, this provision differs from the provisions in fiqh, which do not mention siblings who may inherit together with daughters. This study aimed to analyze the decision of the Samarinda Religious Court in case Number 247/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Smd and to find out why the Judge took the opinion of Ibn 'Abbas and overruled the opinions of other Ulama. This study uses a qualitative research method with a normative legal approach. The study results explain that the Panel of Judges determined case no. 247/Pdt.P/2020/PA.Smd concerning the determination of heirs where a daughter obstructs the inheritance rights of a sibling of the Heir, referring to the Supreme Court Jurisprudence Number 86 K/AG/1994, as well as inheritance provisions concerning the principle of hijab-mahjub in Book II Revised Edition 2013, which contains the legal principle "a daughter may obstruct the inheritance rights of a sibling of the heir", based on the opinion of Ibn 'Abbas. However, the Panel of Judges did not fully understand Ibn 'Abbas' opinion because, according to Ibn 'Abbas, a daughter may obstruct the inheritance rights of a female heir, but he does not make the daughter close the rights of a male heir as an heir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya moderasi dalam penerapan Maqasid Syariah untuk pengembangan sistem ekonomi Islam, khususnya dari perspektif Asy-Syathibi. Maqasid Syariah yang terdiri atas lima tujuan utama yaitu perlindungan agama, jiwa, akal, keturunan, dan harta. Diintegrasikan ke dalam sistem ekonomi Islam guna mewujudkan keadilan sosial dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Asy-Syathibi menekankan pentingnya pendekatan moderat yang menjembatani prinsip-prinsip syariah dengan kebutuhan ekonomi modern tanpa menghilangkan esensi dari Maqasid Syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, dengan menganalisis sumber-sumber yang berkaitan dengan konsep moderasi dalam Maqasid Syariah. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa moderasi dalam penerapan Maqasid Syariah dapat mendukung inovasi ekonomi Islam yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan serta memberikan solusi atas tantangan globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi keuangan. Melalui pendekatan yang moderat (seimbang), sistem ekonomi Islam dapat menjadi lebih relevan dan berkontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat secara lebih luas.

Abstract

Desa Klinting yang berada lereng rangkaian pegunungan Kendheng daerah perbukitan dan tanah gembur yang tepatnya di Kabupaten Banyumas. Dengan kondisi daerah yang berada di lereng bukit dan tanah yang gembur Desa Klinting menjadi salah satu Desa yang tercatat sebagai Desa rawan bencana oleh BTB RI dan BTB Kab. Banyumas. Oleh karena itu, BAZNAS Kabupaten Banyumas berkolaborasi dengan mahasiswa KKN Tematik Kampung Zakat dan Katana untuk membuat pelatihan dan pembentukan pokja kampung tanggap bencana yang bekerja sama dengan BAZNAS RI, PMI, BPBD dengan waktu pelaksanaan selama 2 hari. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini meliputi ceramah, diskusi dan simulasi bencana. Adanya program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman warga mengenai risiko bencana khususnya terkait pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam memitigasi resiko kebencanaan di desa tersebut.

Abstract

Research Originality: This study uniquely examines the relationship between baby milk consumption and stunting rates in Indonesia using a two-stage least squares (2SLS) approach. It fills a gap in understanding why Indonesian consumers prefer sweetened condensed milk over baby formula, despite the increasing prevalence of stunting, offering new insights into the economic and educational factors influencing milk consumption.Research Objectives: To investigate the factors that influence baby milk consumption in Indonesia, such as milk prices, education levels, and population size. Also, to assess the impact of baby milk consumption on stunting rates among Indonesian children.Research Methods: The research uses an econometric approach, specifically two-stage least squares (2SLS) regression, analyzing data from 2005 to 2022.Empirical Results: The results indicate that baby milk consumption is significantly affected by milk prices, education levels, and population size. Interestingly, the study finds that higher consumption of baby milk is correlated with an increase in stunting rates.Implications: The findings suggest a need for greater parental awareness regarding the nutritional value of baby milk and potential policy interventions to regulate milk quality. Additionally, the results highlight the importance of educational campaigns to improve milk consumption behaviors and further research on the nutritional content of available baby milk products to address the stunting problem effectively.JEL Classification: D11, I15, O13, Q18, R22

Abstract

Sales of glasses including lenses, cleaning fluids, frames and other supporting products are still carried out conventionally and prospective buyers must come directly to the store. Sales reporting is also still done by recording the results of sales notes in the ledger resulting in frequent recording errors. Current reports cannot be done in real time so they are less efficient and effective. Sales are done by word of mouth and by using WhatsApp status updates with limited reach. An online or digital eyeglass sales system is needed at Optic XYZ so that the reach is wider, buyers do not have to come and reports are fast, precise and accurate and real time. System development using prototype and website-based methods. In order to ensure that the system can be implemented properly and without obstacles, a trial was carried out using the black box testing method involving users in testing. The system was built to overcome sales and reporting problems so that with this sales system it can help buyers and admins and optic parties in sales and reporting. After the system is implemented, in the future a mobile-based eyeglass sales system will be developed at Optic XYZ so that the system continues to develop and follows the latest technological advances.

Abstract

Abstrak Konstruksi non struktural rentan rusak akibat beban impact. Salah satu upaya menanganinya dengan menggunakan ferosemen yang mampu memberikan daya tahan kejut dengan baik. Matriks ferosemen dapat berinovasi menggunakan beton ringan yang telah banyak digunakan, salah satunya memakai busa yang dinamakan menjadi ferrofoam concrete. Tujuan penelitian ini mengamati kapasitas beban impact terhadap ferrofoam concrete dengan pasir pozolan dan tanpa pasir pozolan sehingga dapat digunakan pada konstruksi dengan tingkat ketahanan kejut yang besar. Sebanyak 4 benda uji pelat memiliki dimensi penampang 400 mm dengan ketebalan 40 mm digunakan dan 4 lapis wiremesh ditetapkan. Perbedaan SG 1200 kg/m³, 1400 kg/m³ dan 1600 kg/m³ menjadi pertimbangan dengan FAS 0.4 dan penambahan 10% pasir pozolan ditentukan. Pengujian beban impact diaplikasikan terhadap pelat dengan menjatuhkan bola besi sebesar 3 kg dari ketinggian 1 m di tengah pelat. Penentuan kerusakan dampak ditunjukkan dengan penyerapan energi disebabkan retak awal hingga retak keruntuhan dan defleksi selama peristiwa tumbukan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kinerja mortar ringan pada SG 1.4 Pozolan lebih baik dari SG 1.6 Pozolan, SG 1.2 Pozolan dan SG 1.4 Non Pozolan dalam menyerap energi akibat beban impact. Kata kunci: ferrofoam concrete, impact test, pozolan, drop-weight test Abstract Non-structural constructions are prone to damage due to impact loads. One of the efforts to overcome this problem is by using ferrocement which is able to provide good shock resistance. The ferrocement matrix can innovate using lightweight concrete which has been widely used, one of which uses foam which is known as ferrofoam concrete. The purpose of this study was to observe the impact load capacity on ferrofoam concrete with Pozolan sand and without Pozolan sand so that it can be used in constructions with a high level of shock resistance. A total of 4 plate specimens having a cross-sectional dimension of 400 mm with a thickness of 40 mm were used and 4 layers of wiremesh were assigned. The difference of SG 1200 kg / m³, 1400 kg / m³ and 1600 kg / m³ was taken into consideration with FAS 0.4 and the addition of 10% pozolan sand was determined. The impact load test is applied to the plate by dropping an iron ball of 3 kg from a height of 1 m in the center of the plate. Determination of impact damage is indicated by the energy absorption due to initial crack to crack collapse and deflection during the impact event. The results show that the performance of ferrofoam with pozolan at SG 1.4 is better than SG 1.6, SG 1.2 and SG 1.4 without pozolan in absorbing energy due to impact loads. Keywords: ferrofoam concrete, impact test, pozolan, drop-weight test

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji penguatan profil pelajar pancasila dalam manajemen pendidikan karakter dan penerapannya pada pembelajaran di kelas IV SDN-SN Pengambangan 5 Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data primer penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru PABP, dan dua guru kelas IV SDN-SN Pengambangan 5 Kota Banjarmasin, sedangkan hasil penelitian dan dokumentasi yang relevan dijadikan sebagai sumber data sekunder. Metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi adalah semua metode analisis data. Temuan penelitian ini: 1) Implementasi dalam pembelajaran di kelas IV di SDN-SN Pengambangan 5 Kota Banjarmasin menghasilkan nilai-nilai religius, disiplin, tanggung jawab, jujur, cinta lingkungan, dan sopan santun. 2) Manajemen pendidikan karakter dilakukan dalam bentuk perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasiKata Kunci: Profil Pelajar Pancasila; Manajemen; Pendidikan Karakter; Manajemen Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract

AbstrackThis research examines juvenile delinquency from the perspective of anomie theory. Juvenile delinquency is a social phenomenon of serious concern in modern society. It encompasses various deviant behaviors committed by individuals who have not reached adulthood. This phenomenon has significant impacts not only on the individuals involved but also on society as a whole.The study employs a normative juridical method by examining literature or secondary data as the basis for research, conducting searches on regulations and literature related to the issues under investigation.The results indicate that the emergence of juvenile delinquency from the perspective of anomie theory can occur because a child responds to the discrepancy between what they expect in a high social life and the limitations of the resources they have. Other contributing factors may also originate from internal and external factors. Some of these factors include: a. Lack of education for children, b. Lack of parental role, c. Instability in social, political, and economic conditions, and d. Moral decline in children.Keywords: Juvenile delinquency, Criminology, Anomie Theory
