Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of Brand Image, Relationship Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction on Decision to Enroll, with Trust serving as a mediating variable among students of Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal research design. The population consisted of students of Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya, and 180 respondents were selected using a non-probability purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that Brand Image, Relationship Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction have positive and significant effects on both Trust and Decision to Enroll. Furthermore, Trust has a positive and significant effect on Decision to Enroll and is proven to mediate the relationships between Brand Image, Relationship Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction and Decision to Enroll. These results suggest that a strong institutional image, effective relationship marketing practices, and high customer satisfaction are essential factors in building students’ trust and encouraging their enrollment decisions. Therefore, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya should continuously strengthen its brand image, enhance relationship marketing strategies, and improve customer satisfaction through high-quality academic and non-academic services to foster greater trust and increase prospective students’ intention to enroll.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of client governance, vendor governance, and job security on Employee Work Performance through perceived organizational support among outsourced cleaning service workers at PT Mega Berlian Sutanpangulu. This study is grounded in the complexity of outsourcing employment relationships, which involve two governance actors: the client as the service user and the vendor as the formal employer. Such a context requires aligned coordination, supervision, and work support to enable employees to achieve optimal performance. This study employed a quantitative explanatory research design. Data were collected from 110 outsourced cleaning service workers through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that client governance, vendor governance, job security, and perceived organizational support have positive and significant effects on Employee Work Performance. In addition, client governance, vendor governance, and job security also have positive and significant effects on perceived organizational support. The R-square value for Employee Work Performance was 0.715, indicating strong explanatory power, while the R-square value for perceived organizational support was 0.557, indicating moderate explanatory power. The mediation test results show that perceived organizational support partially mediates the effects of client governance, vendor governance, and job security on Employee Work Performance. These findings confirm that perceived organizational support is an important psychological mechanism linking outsourcing governance and job security to improved performance among cleaning service workers.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to find an effective strategy in the development of Hinterland Tourism Village in Mount Bromo area. It is a descriptive explanatory research to build a model of grand design for rural tourism development. It took three tourism villages around Bromo Mountain and the data were collected by survey or interviews on both local and interna-tional tourists and by cross checking among the interviews on rural principles for the data validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to determine the strategy and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the ranking of objects and tourist attractions/obyek dan daya tarik wisata (ODTW). The results of SWOT analysis was based on the weight and value scores of respondents indicating that the development of rural tourism was scored in the first quadrant for a strategy to optimize the strengths and opportunities. It shows that the AHP Wonokitri village has the highest number, the second is Ngadisari, and third village is Ngadas. The model of strategy of rural tourism can be developed when the program are supported optimally by the com-munity and the government such as the Center Government for Taman Nasional Bromo, Tengger, Semeru (TNBTS), Department of Tourism, Public Works (PU), Cooperation, and Society Empowerment Department, while also support by private sectors, SMEs and local investors and also education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Innovative Work Behaviour, Upskilling, and Work Ethic on the Health Workers Performance with Intention to Stay as an intervening variable at RSUD Sumberrejo. The background of this research stems from challenges in improving service quality, high workload, and the need to strengthen competency and retention among health workers. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires, with data analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS version 4.0. The population consists of 216 employees, and the sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, resulting in 140 respondents. The findings reveal that Innovative Work Behaviour, Work Ethic, and Intention to Stay have a significant positive effect on the performance of health workers. In addition, Innovative Work Behaviour and Work Ethic significantly influence Intention to Stay. However, Upskilling shows a positive but non-significant effect on both Intention to Stay and Performance, indicating that skill enhancement requires managerial support and motivation to contribute effectively to employee performance. Intention to Stay serves as a mediating variable in several relationships among the constructs. Strengthening innovative behaviour, work ethic, and competency development, accompanied by appropriate retention strategies, is essential for improving the performance of health workers in regional hospitals. Future studies are recommended to develop the research model by incorporating additional variables that may have stronger effects on Intention to Stay and Performance. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of employee competence, behavioral control, and trust on employee performance at the Bojonegoro District Health Office with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable. The background of this study is related to the importance of employee performance in achieving public service organizational goals, particularly in the health sector. This study uses an explanatory quantitative method with a Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The research sample consisted of 100 employees at the Bojonegoro District Health Office. The results of the analysis show that the influence of employee competence on employee performance is not significant, but employee competence has a significant influence on OCB. Behavioral control has a significant effect on employee performance, but its effect on OCB is not significant. Trust has a significant effect on OCB, but its direct effect on employee performance does not. OCB is proven to have a significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, OCB plays an important role as a mediator in improving employee performance. This study provides a theoretical contribution by clarifying the relationship between variables in the context of public service-based government organizations. In practical terms, the results of this study are expected to form the basis for recommendations to improve the quality of human resources and develop managerial strategies at the Bojonegoro District Health Office in order to support the effectiveness and efficiency of public services.
