Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether learning motivation had an effect on the mathematics learning achievement of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 040529 Ajibuhara, Tiga Panah District, Karo Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a quantitative research with correlation method. The population in this study were all students of SD Negeri 040529 Ajibuhara, Ajibuhara District, Karo Regency for the 2021/2022 Academic Year, a total of 408 students. The sample in this study were students in class VA and VB SD Negeri 040529 Ajibuhara with a total of 69 students. The sampling technique was carried out by means of quota sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, unstructured interviews, questionnaires, and documentation which were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Analysis prerequisite test includes data normality test and regression linearity test. Hypothesis testing includes Product Moment correlation test, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that: (1) The results of the correlation test showed that there was a correlation coefficient of 0.563 with a significance of 0.001 meaning rcount (0.563) > rtable (0.355). This means that there is a positive correlation between learning motivation and learning achievement of students. (2) The results of the tcount > ttable test are 3.668 > 2.045, so that Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a positive and significant influence of the influence of learning motivation on student achievement. The conclusion from this study is that there is a positive and significant influence between learning motivation and learning achievement of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 040529 Ajibuhara, Tiga Panah District, Karo Regency, 2021/2022 Academic Year. Suggestions for teachers, especially fifth grade elementary school mathematics teachers, to motivate children to be more active in learning mathematics and to find ways that are varied and easier for students to digest.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the student facilitator and explaining learning model on the theme of the area where I live in elementary school. Based on the data obtained from the average results in the pre test, post test cycle I, and cycle II, there can be an increase. The improvement process can be seen through the pre-test results there were 5 students who were complete and 20 students who were not complete with an average score of 54.72, in cycle I there were 11 students who were complete and 14 students who were not complete with an average score of 66.72, and in cycle II there were 21 students who were complete and 4 students who were not complete with an average score of 80.24.From the data obtained, it can be seen that there was an increase in the results of students' critical thinking skills classically. In the pre-test, the classical result was 20%, in cycle I it was 44%, and in cycle II it was 84%. This shows that the expected completeness of students' critical thinking results classically, which is 75%, has been achieved. Based on the increase obtained from the student learning outcomes data that the pre test to post test cycle I experienced an increase of 12, and from post test cycle I to cycle II experienced an increase of 13.52. This proves that using the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in class V of SD Negeri 040457 Berastagi in the 2022/2023 Learning Year. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods. The population of this study were all students in class V of SD Negeri 040457 Berastagi totaling 31 students. The sample used in this study was saturated sampling in this case all members of the population were used as samples totaling 31 students. The results of this study indicate that the results obtained from correlation testing can be seen in the correlation coefficient of rcount (0.716) > rtable (0.355), it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between the inquiry learning model on the learning outcomes of students on the theme of heat and its transfer in class V of SD Negeri 040457 Berastagi. It can also be seen from the results of the t test where tcount> ttable is 5.531> 1.699, then Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive effect between the inquiry learning model on the learning outcomes of students on the theme of heat and its transfer in class V of SD Negeri 040457 Berastagi in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the video-based Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) learning models on class IV students science learning outcomes UPTD SDN 122358 Siantar Martoba 2023/2024. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. To obtain the data required a test instrument of 25 questions. The total research sample was 30 students based on purposive sampling technique. To determine students' initial abilities, the research conducted a Pre Test with an average score of 50.13 which was included in the poor category. The results of the Post Test have improved from the Pre Test results given previously with the students' average score reaching 79.47 in the good category. It can be said that the level of success in student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation, the results obtained were r_count ≥ r_tabel with results of 0.819 ≥ 0.361. Next, hypothesis testing compares the t_count ≥ t_table value. The obtained value of t_count = 7.552 while t_table = 2.048. Because t_count ≥ t_table (7.552 ≥ 2.048) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) learning model (X) on student learning outcomes (Y

Abstract

PGSD students must be ready to establish their profession as teachers, for this they must be supported by knowledge and proven theories. This further strengthens the parties' trust in the teaching profession. One of the scientific methods for testing the truth of knowledge, theories or concepts in teacher training, especially those related to learning such as tests (experiments) which are expected so that they can implement existing learning in elementary schools. Schools can implement and design learning models related to teaching skills to elementary school students. One of the factors determining the success of learning is students' mental participation in learning through the opportunity to experience certain conditions or situations as they really are (experiential learning). This participation makes learning interesting and meaningful for students.
