Abstract

This research and development aimed to achieve 2 main objectives: to develop a mind mapping model based on prophetic values in writing exposition texts, and to describe and discuss the profile of mind mapping model based on prophetic values in writing exposition texts. This model was developed by using 4D model (definition, design, development, and dissemination) which was modified to 3DI (definition, design, development, and implementation) . This research was conducted in the academic year 2019/2020 at a high school in Bandung. The instruments of this research were questionnaires and observation sheets that fulfilled the validity and reliability requirements. The initial product was tested on a limited trial in X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Baleendah Bandung. Then, the revised product was tested extensively in 2 classes, namely X IPA-3 and X IPS-5. The last procedure in this research was the dissemination of the final product prototype, which was teaching materials entitled Mind Mapping Based on Porphetic Values: Teaching Materials for Writing Exposition Texts for Grade X SMA/MA. This teaching material consisted of 30 pages, A4, time new roman, 12 automatic spaces outside the start page of 7. Ho was rejected for the paired sample t test because the sig. 0.037 < p = 0.05 for class X IPA-3 and the sig. 0.037 < p = 0.05 for class X IPS-5. Thisproduct was believed to contribute to the process of learning writing exposition texts at high schools. After that, as users, the Indonesian teachers scored in mode 4 for a scale of 1 to 4 for the 4 feasibility indicators. The score mode of 4 also occured in the assessment given by the expert team.

Abstract

Translation is an action of transferring message from source language (SL) to target language (TL) by using the translation technique. The equivalence is a key that will help the reader in understanding the author’s information. In other words, the activity of translating must obey the technique and strategy in order to transmitting the real meaning of each sentences. This study aimed to reveal and describe the category-shifts and its purpose in Indonesian translation text of the novel “orang asing” by Albert Camus that has been translated from the French version “étranger”in giving an equivalence to the target language (TL). The focus of this study is to identify the type of category-shifts such as “structure-shifts, unit-shifts, class-shifts and intra-system-shifts” using the theory of Catford (1978). The methods using in this study is a qualitative design by Kothari (2004) which intend to do a literature study and observation in the data source. The result of the analysis shows that there are many shifting appear from the source language (SL) to the target language (TL). The first aspect provoke this shifting is the culture of the translators and the second aspect is influenced by the translator’s language style.

Abstract

The role of Indonesian as a unifier of the nation is very important in everyday life. The presence of digital literacy greatly affects the acquisition of information for each individual. Students as the nation's successors who are currently faster at mastering technology obtain a lot of information. It should be noted that digital literacy is mastered by students so that it is not easy to accept hoax information. Indonesian as a unifier of the nation must be supported by digital literacy skills, especially as an effort to fight the circulating hoaxes. The use of technology for students becomes a daily activity that is rarely restricted and supervised. The convenience in the digital world also often brings information that must be investigated further. Moreover, if the hoax information received by students is disseminated it can have a bad influence on other people. Data retrieval at SMKN 13 Bandung with descriptive qualitative methods. According to students of SMKN 13 Bandung, the negative impact of hoaxes can harm many people, being wrong in taking action, misleading, causing debate, and facts are no longer believed. Indonesia as a unifying nation today needs to be accompanied by digital literacy skills. Digital literacy can equip students in using technology, evaluating, and then utilizing information in digital media properly and correctly.

Abstract

Masa pandemik covid-19 membuat penuh waktu kita bersama keluarga. Anak akan melihat apa yang mereka amati dan dengar. Melakukan sebuah tindakan kecil untuk memajukan literasi keluarga akn membuahkan kebiasaan besar yang akan melekat di diri anak. Memulai dengan membuat strategi pendidikan literasi keluarga merupakan langkah awal untuk menjaga situasi rumah agar lebih produktif di masa pandemik covid-19 ini. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan sebagai berikut. (1) membaca cerita anak, (2) menandai dan menganalisis data dalam cerita anak, (3) menyimpulkan nilai-nilai didaktis pada cerita anak tersebut, (4) Membuat strategi literasi keluarga dari hasil analisis nilai didaktis cerita anak dari litara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif dengan hasil yang didapatkan memberikan strategi pendidikan untuk memilih cerita anak yang kebermanfaatannya dapat diaplikasikan ke dalam kehidupan keluarga dan kerja sama membangun kebersamaan belajar untuk meningkatkan literasi antara orang tua dan anak. Sebelum orang tua membacakan cerita, orang tua pun dituntut untuk mampu menganalisis dan memberikan pengetahuan yang luas dari yang akan dibacakannya. Seperti yang kita rasakan pada masa kanak-kanak, bahwa cerita yang menarik pada masa anak-anak akan terus teringat hingga kita dewasa. Kata Kunci : strategi pendidikan, lietrasi keluarga, nilai didaktis, cerita anak litara

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the material co-text of the Gawai Dayak tradition of the Kantu tribe of West Kalimantan. In addition, research was also to find out what materials are used in the Gawai Dayak tradition. This research was descriptive qualitative. Data were taken by means of direct interviews, observation and documentation. For the validity of the data, the study used data triangulation techniques. The research respondents were 5 people, consisting of the community, tradition observers and the village head of Ranyai, West Kalimantan. The results showed that the material context of the Gawai Dayak tradition consists of equipment and food. The food offerings consisted of Pulut, Jawak, Seed of paddy, Cocunut, The seed of cucumber, Sugar, Eggs, Betel nut, Chicken(manok) Tuak (fermantion drink). While the equipment includes nampah, plates, small baskets, and bamboo squares and other tools. All tools and food offerings have meaning and purpose that could be closer to the true meaning of life.

Abstract

Xenoglosofilia merupakan fenomena ketertarikan menggunakan bahasa asing secara berlebihan yang mengkhawatirkan keberadaan bahasa Indonesia di era globalisasi. Kecanggihan teknologi serta adanya budaya asing yang masuk ke negara Indonesia membawa dampak positif dan negatif bagi bahasa Indonesia. Hal tersebut menjadi latar belakang permasalahan penelitian ini, yaitu fenomena xenoglosofilia yang terjadi di kalangan remaja generasi Y dan Z di wilayah Bandung raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena xenoglosofilia secara menyeluruh dengan memperkenalkan fenomena ini kepada masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda. Dengan pengetahuan tersebut, mereka diharapkan dapat menyikapi kesantunan berbahasa dan berbudaya, baik sebagai warga negara maupun warga dunia, di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bentuk fenomena xenoglosofilia yang terjadi pada kalangan remaja di wilayah Bandung raya. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa wawancara secara tertulis melalui kuisioner dengan hasil data yang didapatkan sebanyak 104 reponden. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi penunjang ilmu, serta membuka wawasan lebih luas terkait bahasa di masyarakat khususnya kalangan generasi muda dalam menjaga bahasa dan negara.

Abstract

The main problem in student's literacy skills in the early grades has not been implemented holistically. In addition, the teacher has not used the right model in literacy learning in the early grades. The main objective of this research was to analyses the process of learning literacy in elementary school. This study used a survey method involving 48 principals and 148 elementary school teachers. Interviews were used as an instrument to describe literacy learning in early grades of elementary schools. Information obtained from the field is tabulated and presented. This research showed that the procedures or models and learning media used by teachers are different. Teachers have made efforts to increase children's motivation in exploring literacy learning. Teachers believe that literacy is a very important need for every individual. Literacy in the early grades plays an important role in determining students learning success. Effective literacy learning in the early grades needs to pay attention to the learning environment and material that suit the needs of students. A pleasant learning experience and adult support can have a positive effect on reading skills. This skill will greatly affect subsequent literacy skills. If literacy learning in the initial class is not strong, it will be difficult for students to build a foundation for literacy in higher grades.

Abstract

RÉSUMÉ.  Cette étude tente de concevoir un outil d'apprentissage pouvant être utilisé dans la classe de français au lycée sous forme d'un multimédia interactif basé sur Android appelé "Le français, C'est bien". Cette recherche vise à décrire : (1) le développement d'un média d'apprentissage interactif basé sur Android pour la compréhension écrite du français au niveau A1, (2) l'application développée basée sur Android pour l'apprentissage de la compréhension écrite au niveau A1, (3) la perception de cette application par les étudiants et les enseignants. L'étude est menée en misant en place la méthode de recherche et développement (RD) selon la théorie de Richey Klein (2007), qui présente trois étapes : planification, production et évaluation (PPE). Les résultats montrent que cette application peut être utilisée comme support d'apprentissage dans le cours de compréhension de l'écrit au niveau A1 du CECRL..Mots-clés : Android, Application, A1, Compréhension écrite, Multimédia Interactif.  ABSTRACT. This study tries to design a learning tool that can be used in the French class in high school in the form of an interactive multimedia based on Android called "Le français, C'est bien". Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu hal yang tidak bisa di jauhkan dalam segi kehidupan manusia. Karena adanya pendidikan seseorang akan mendapatkan sebuah ilmu pengetahuan. Pada segi pendidikan mempunyai suatu perangkat ajar yang harus di sediakan oleh satuan pendidikan yang berupa kurikulum. Kurikulum di indonesia sudah begitu banyak mulai dari tahun 1947 hingga pada tahun sekarang begitu banyak perubahan dalam segi kurikulum. Hal ini karena untuk menjadi penunjang dan perbaikan dari segi pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka yaitu pengumpulan data dari berbagai literatur atau referensi ilmiah yang tersedia, diantaranya buku artikel dan hasil riset yang berhubungan dengan perkembangan kurikulum di Indonesia. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk menganalisis perubahan kurikulum 2013 dengan kurikul merdeka pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Guna untuk melihat perbedaan pada kegiatan pembelajaran yang di lakukan

Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya untuk menjelaskan perbandingan penggunaan bahasa Sunda di daerah Ciamis dan Majalengka, Jawa Barat. Sebagai sebuah fenomena bahasa, bahasa Sunda memiliki kekhasan yang berbeda di setiap daerahnya. Meski begitu, bahasa Sunda hanya memiliki satu bahasa lulugu yang dirancang sebagai alat komunikasi antar banyak penutur berbeda. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik angket, yaitu menyebarkan angket ke 39 mahasiswa UPI yang berasal dari daerah Majalengka dan Ciamis. Hasil penelitian ini, menjelaskan penutur bahasa Sunda di daerah Ciamis dan Majalengka ternyata masih menggunakan bahasa Sunda lulugu di dalam situasi dan kondisi tertentu; lalu ditemukannya beberapa kosakata yang sama namun maknanya berbeda (homonim) dengan bahasa Sunda lulugu pada umumnya.
