Data from 68 respondents were processed using quantitative methods; this study investigated the relationship between several aspects of well-being and mathematics learning. The results demonstrated that psychological health and Behavior significantly influence students' mathematical understanding. While subjective well-being, Emotion, and spiritual well-being showed less significant effects in this context. The study highlights the importance of backing students' emotional and mental well-being to enhance their learning in mathematics at the university level. It accentuates that academic programs should arrange these aspects to create a more effective learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of peer feedback in mathematics learning. The method used is quantitative descriptive, with data collection through a Likert scale questionnaire. The research participants consisted of 20 students randomly selected at several universities in Banten. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of peer feedback. High percentages of agreement were seen in the aspects of usefulness 82%, effectiveness 82%, its impact on understanding 81,25%, and mastery of mathematics material 82,5%. Lecturer support was also considered necessary 77,5% in facilitating feedback. However, 60% of students admitted to experiencing challenges in giving and receiving feedback, mainly due to awkwardness or uncertainty. The findings confirm that peer feedback increases activeness, collaboration, and understanding of mathematical concepts. Therefore, it is necessary to implement peer feedback that is structured and actively supported by lecturers, accompanied by adequate training and effective use of technology so that this practice can run more optimally.

Abstract

Waste is divided into two types, namely organic waste and inorganic waste. This organic waste consists of easily decomposed waste. Meanwhile, inorganic waste is waste that is quite difficult to decompose and must be assisted by engine power. The accumulation of waste in landfills is due to our lack of knowledge to decompose and process this waste. So that the waste is not too much.  It should be noted that maggot is a caterpillar of the Black Soldier Fly type. This type of fly is different from the flies that we often find. Because the Black Soldier Fly is a type of fly that does not spread harmful bacteria. These BSF flies are black and more like wasps or bees. In addition to breaking down organic waste, this caterpillar can also be used as animal feed. Both poultry and fish farming. This caterpillar has high protein to nourish and fatten livestock. And the most important thing is that livestock will not be exposed to harmful bacteria. Because these flies are safe and do not spread harmful bacteria.Traditional markets are places where goods or staple goods such as groceries are exchanged. The groceries that are traded are organic foods for daily needs. These items will later produce piles of organic waste which will definitely cause disease and a very pungent odor. Therefore, the need for action to eliminate the problem. For the sake of bringing comfort together. Therefore, we analyze organic waste management methods that will have high economic value and be sustainable. Maggot cultivation aims to overcome market problems by turning organic waste into maggot larvae feed so that maggot larvae can be of value and the used feed can be used for planting media and fertilizer. So that the decomposition of organic waste has more economic value. Therefore, let's start learning to cultivate maggot to empower market organic waste and household organic waste to become more economically valuable.

Abstract

Pesantren, Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, have a unique educational framework. Pesantren combines religious and general subjects, including English. However, existing English reading materials are still questionable in meeting the specific needs of pesantren students. This study explores the differing perceptions of English reading materials among students, teachers, and experts at four Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) in Indonesia. The study used a quantitative research design involving 10th-grade students from four pesantren: Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Islamic Boarding School (North Sumatra), Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School (Jakarta), Assaadah Pamulang Islamic Boarding School (South Tangerang), and An-Nahdlah Islamic Boarding School (Depok, West Java). Data collection methods included questionnaires for students, teachers, and experts. A one-way ANOVA found significant variations across five evaluation dimensions: content relevance, comprehension support, exercise quality, instructional clarity, and motivational appeal (F = 31.648, p < 0.05). Based on the data from the Bonferroni post hoc analysis, the most positive rating for English reading materials was shown by students, followed by teachers, and the lowest by experts. Each group has a unique and different perspective. The findings of this study indicate that current reading materials are sufficient to meet basic curriculum standards and student interests. Still, based on expert observations, they do not meet the standards for teaching quality. Teachers need to find a bridge between the realities of classroom practice and pedagogical objectives. Therefore, a collaborative approach is required to develop English reading skills that align with curriculum objectives, classroom implementation, and student involvement in Islamic Boarding Schools. Development of inclusive materials, collaboration on revision communication with the government, ongoing teacher training, and integration of student feedback are highly recommended for developing practical and relevant student reading materials in Islamic boarding schools in the context and culture of the Islamic boarding school itself.

Abstract

As is known, digital technology has now penetrated all sectors of life. In the world of education, students must be more independent in accessing learning resources. This study aims to identify the perspectives of social studies students regarding digital learning resources such as Google Books in improving academic understanding. This study uses a quantitative method based on the results of a questionnaire to social studies students to measure students' perspectives on academic understanding, access and availability of information, motivation in learning, strategies for using Google Books, efficiency and flexibility of using Google Books, and analysis of relevant documents. The results of the study indicate that most social studies students view Google Books as a practical and applicable learning tool but have several obstacles, such as limited access to some books and the need for digital learning management strategies, and are not yet optimal in developing critical thinking skills. Google Books can broaden horizons and improve academic understanding among social studies students.
