Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of a transformational leadership and on employees’ performance in an Indonesian manufacturer through motivation and work environment as a mediating variables. Data were collected by using simple random sampling to 851 employees population in an Indonesia manufacturer. The number of returned and valid questionnaires was 627. Data were processed by using SEM with SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study concluded that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance, both directly and indirectly through a mediating effect of motivation and work environment. This study proposes a model to improve employees’ performance in Indonesia manufacturers by a transformational leadership through motivation and work environment as a mediator. This study can open the way to improve employee readiness in facing industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui pengaruh FSC Chain of Custody, PEFC Sustainable Forest Management dan ISO 38200 Chain of custody pada industri kayu di Jawa Tengah. Pengambilan data dari  responden sebanyak 180 orang  karyawan industri kayu sebagai manajemen puncak dan staf yang  telah menerapkan FSC, PEFC dan ISO 38200.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner elektronik selama bulan Juli  hingga Oktober  2019 dan analisis pemrosesan data menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dan software Linear Structural Model (LISREL) versi 8.70. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan  FSC Chain of Custody, PEFC Sustainable Forest Management dan ISO 38200 Chain of custody mempengaruhi daya saing perusahaan  secara signifikan dan positif seperti peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan, peningkatan penjualan dan peningkatan produktivitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh konflik kerja-keluarga terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan wanita dari industri pengemasan di Tangerang yang dimoderasi oleh dukungan sosial. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan simple random sampling untuk 171 populasi karyawan wanita. Hasil kuesioner yang dikembalikan dan valid adalah 134 sampel. Pemrosesan data menggunakan metode SEM dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konflik kerja-keluarga memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Sementara itu, konflik kerja-keluarga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformational, transactional, authentic dan authoritarian terhadap kinerja guru di sebuah  Madrasah Aliyahdi Tangerang Banten . Responden dari  penelitian ini adalah  guru  sebanyak 100 orang  dan metode pengumpulan data dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner online elektronik ke para guru. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan  SEM (Structural Equation Model)  program LISREL versi 8.70. Hasil analisis dan pengolahan data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan , transactional dan  authorian pada Madrasah Aliyah di Tangerang menunjukkan berpengaruh secara  positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Guru sedangkan gaya kepemimpinan transformational dan authentic tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

Dalam industri manufaktur  yang sangat kompetitif saat ini, banyak sekali industri menghadapi perubahan signifikan , terutama dalam revolusi industri 4.0. Oleh karena itu perusahaan harus fokus pada perilaku kerja inovatif (IWB) untuk mendapatkan keunggulan yang kompetitif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan iklim organisasi terhadap perilaku produktivitas kerja yang inovatif dengan mengambil industri manufaktur di Kabupaten Pati Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebagai kasus.  Populasi dan sampel adalah 395 karyawan dengan metode simple random sampling.  Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert.  Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kepemimpinan transformasional adalah adaptasi dari Podsakof et al (1990).  Instrumen untuk mengukur iklim organisasi yang diadopsi dari ukuran Iklim Organisasi (OCM) yang dikembangkan oleh Patterson et al (2005).  Sedangkan untuk mengukur perilaku kerja inovatif diadaptasi dari (Jong & Hartog, 2008).Analisis dari penelitian ini menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Model) dengan SmartPLS versi 3.0 sebagai alat statistik.  Hasil dari penelitian ini  adalah kepemimpinan transformasional memberikan efek positif dan signifikan terhadap iklim organisasi dan juga disimpulkan bahwa pada variabelKepemimpinan transformasional dan iklim organisasi juga memberikan efek positif dan signifikan terhadap Produktivitas kerja inovatif   secara parsial dan simultan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan, motivasi, kompetensi, komitmen dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja penerapan sistem manajemen integrasi ISO 9001, ISO 14000 dan ISO 45001 di PT. GTT sebuah industri otomotif yang berlokasi di Kota Tangerang. Adapun teknik pengambilan  sampel yang digunakan adalah menggunakan simple random sampling dimana berdasarkan pengundian nomor induk karyawan diundi secara acak. Jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin sejumlah 99 orang. Analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Model) dengan program software SmartPLS v3. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan  bahwa kepemimpinan, komitmen dan budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sistem manajemen integrasi .Sedangkan kompetensi dan motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja sistem manajemen integrasi ISO 9001, ISO 14000  dan ISO 45001

Abstract

In this study we aim to explore and determine whether transformational leadership is elitist and anti-democratic. The purpose of writing this article is to conduct a systematic literature review on 6 (six) articles of leadership models from reputable international journals. The method used is a systematic literature review of 6 articles published in reputable international journals that discuss leadership models in secondary and higher education institutions in education 4.0 era. The results of the systematic literature review show that the leadership models of transformational that have a positive and significant effect on the performance of educational institutions. In order to see the link with transformational leadership, organize a literature review to locate relevant literature and extract knowledge about elitism and democratic leadership. Transformational leadership is not elitist and anti-democratic. It’s empowering the employee to encouraging inspiration, idealized power, intellectual stimulation and individual judgment. It engages workers through participatory, support for new ideas and a substantial degree of flexibility and autonomy for be pro-active and take risks, also rely heavily on communication and relationships. This research only to find out whether transformational leadership is indeed elitist and anti-democratic based on a literature review and for empirical evidence further study is needed. The relation between transformational leadership and member responses to organizational change has been empirically validated by numerous studies

Abstract

In the beginning of the first twenty years of the 21st century, environmental changes have presented a great challenge for organizational leaders. Demands from within the organization, both individuals, groups, or unions, continued with external pressure organizations require a leader must be able to respond to changing environmental challenges. Humane Leadership described by Gallo and Hlupic (2019) that leadership must move quickly from the level of 1.2.3 to the level of 4 or 5, is an expression that emphasizes the views of experts on transformational leadership so that organizations can survive and develop in era Industrial Revolution 4.0. “U”-Theory introduced Otto Scharmer is a method of change that can be applied in transformational leadership based on self-awareness or contemplation, to release current concessions in total, then move forward creation with a new prototype, until the realization of something new.

Abstract

Covid-19 has create a confusion among organizations that leaders without any preparation must focus their attention to the kind of leadership which suitable to the pandemic condition. Leadership must have competence to handle a new problem so that leadership must be explicitly mastered. Leaders must master the lead methods, especially influencing subordinates to work optimally even the conditions are affected by unpredicted circumstances. Even leaders must be able to prepare backup steps as contingencies on operational standards and procedures within the pandemic environment. The article is proposing 5-type of leadership that is comprehensive and exploring the necessary attentions which improve the quality of leadership throughout pandemic covd-19 as well as entering the industrial revolution 4.0. This combination of leaderships would be compared to the humane leadership by all means as resume the application.

Abstract

This study aims to explore  the inhibiting factors for internal lecturer productivity publication of scientific papers in indexed international journals,  lecturers' expectations of campus managers to increase the productivity of the publication of scientific papers in indexed international journals. This research is a survey research conducted at the Postgraduate Program at a private university in Banten. with respondents totaling 120 lectures . The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Data analysis technique using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the study are described as follows. Factors The obstacle to the publication of scientific papers in indexed international journals comes from external factors, namely busy work, the amount of costs, limited subscriptions to print journals, limited subscriptions to online journals, and limited access to printed journals. Lecturers hope to increase publication productivity scientific papers in indexed international journals, namely improvements and enhancements in socialization, accessinformation and services, writing and English language training, free translation assistance, establish cooperation with various parties, as well as subscriptions to online and print journals.
