Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of financial literacy and financial attitudes on students' personal financial management. The position of this research is important because good financial literacy and financial attitudes can prevent students from excessive consumer behavior and improve their financial stability. The method used was the distribution of questionnaires to 100 students, employing Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with stages including classical assumption testing, t-test hypothesis testing, and F-test hypothesis testing. The results show that both financial literacy and financial attitudes have a significant effect on students' personal financial management, contributing new insights into the development of understanding the importance of these two factors in achieving better financial management. The implications of this study suggest that the development of financial literacy and positive financial attitudes should be a priority in higher education, particularly in the field of finance, to help students achieve more stable and sustainable personal financial management.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of training, teaching experience, and work motivation on the performance of State Vocational High School teachers in Jeneponto Regency, both partially and simultaneously. Method: The study used Explanatory Research with a quantitative approach through a cross-sectional survey design. The study population came from three State Vocational High Schools in Jeneponto Regency totaling 134 teachers, with a sample of 100 teachers obtained using the Proportionate Random Sampling technique. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression. Results: The results showed that training, teaching experience, and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (Sig. <0.05). Simultaneously, the three variables explained 67.4% of the variation in teacher performance (R² = 0.674), while 32.6% was influenced by other factors outside the model. Novelty: This study emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach in improving the performance of vocational teachers by integrating aspects of competence, professional experience, and work motivation in the context of regional Vocational High Schools. These findings provide an empirical basis for formulating more contextual and sustainable vocational school teacher development policies at the local level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers toward the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) Kota Binjai and its contribution to strengthening students’ religious character. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study involved five informants, consisting of the principal and four IRE teachers. The findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education teachers at MIN Kota Binjai have a positive perception of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, viewing it as an effort aligned with strengthening students’ religious character and adapting education to contemporary needs. Although they face challenges such as limited learning facilities and insufficient technical training, the teachers demonstrate strong commitment through participation in MGMP (Subject Teacher Forum), internal training, and collaborative module development. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has significantly contributed to shaping students’ religious character through Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) projects, worship activities, and reflective learning that instills values of honesty, discipline, and tolerance. Optimization efforts are carried out through technology-based learning innovations, integration of Islamic values across subjects, and the creation of a religious learning environment. Overall, it can be concluded that the Merdeka Curriculum has been effectively utilized as an essential instrument in developing a generation that is intellectually, spiritually, and morally excellent.

Abstract

Municipal solid waste management studies increasingly emphasize landfill upgrading and environmental safeguards, yet limited empirical evidence remains on how controlled landfill operations perform under district-level resource constraints and fluctuating waste inflow, creating a gap in operationally grounded evaluations. This study assesses the operational system and environmental management of TPA Batu Terang, the main final disposal facility in Bantaeng Regency, Indonesia, focusing on daily waste inflow dynamics, leachate and landfill gas management, nuisance impacts, social dimensions, and institutional capacity. A qualitative descriptive case study design was applied using field observations and an in-depth semi-structured interview with the Head of the Environmental Agency. Reported waste inflow averaged 27.49 tons/day, periodically increasing to 30–32 tons/day due to routine clean-up programs and increased food and packaging residuals linked to the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) initiative. The facility implements controlled landfill practices with periodic soil cover, supported by a weighbridge and computerized recording that enables semi-annual reporting and improves accountability. Environmental management is strengthened by a leachate collection system and staged multi-pond treatment (intake–facultative–maturation–biofilter), described as operating within capacity. However, methane utilization remains limited and odor persists as the most salient community concern, typically addressed through reactive covering. Key constraints include aging heavy equipment, limited budgets, human resource needs, and suboptimal source separation. Findings imply that phased improvements prioritizing routine cover discipline, equipment maintenance financing, incremental gas control and monitoring, and upstream waste diversion are essential to reduce impacts and support transition toward an integrated final processing facility (TPAS).

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of disposition of the Guardian personality type, Artisan type, Rational type, and Idealist type based on disposition characteristics, namely: Self-confidence, Curiosity, Perseverance, Flexibility, Reflective. This research uses descriptive quantitative research. Data collection techniques were selected using purposive sampling techniques based on student personality types determined through questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it shows that the subject of students' mathematical disposition obtained: Guardian type 79% characterized by the fulfillment of 4 indicators of mathematical disposition with high categories, namely curiosity, perseverance, flexibility, reflective. Artisan type 74% is characterized by the fulfillment of 2 indicators with moderate categories, namely, self- confidence and flexibility. The 76% Rational type is characterized by the fulfillment of 3 indicators, namely, self-confidence, curiosity and perseverance with high categories. The Idealist type is 77% characterized by the fulfillment of 3 indicators, namely, self- confidence, curiosity and perseverance with high categories. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat disposisi dari tipe kepribadian Guardian, tipe Artisan, tipe rasional, dan tipe Idealist berdasarkan karateristik disposisi yaitu : Kepercayaan diri, Keingintahuan, Ketekunan, Fleksibilitas, Reflektif, Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan tipe kepribadian siswa yang ditentukan melalui angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, menunjukkan bahwa subjek dari disposisi matematis siswa memperoleh: tipe Guardian 79% ditandai dengan terpenuhinya 4 indikator disposisi matematis dengan kategori tinggi yaitu keingintahuan, ketekunan, fleksibilitas, reflektif. Tipe Artisan 74% ditandai dengan terpenuhinya 2 indikator dengan kategori sedang yaitu, kpercayaan diri dan fleksibilitas. Tipe rasional 76% ditandai dengan terpenuhinya 3 indikator yaitu, kepercayaan diri, keingin tahuan dan ketekunandengan kategori tinggi. Tipe Idealist 77% ditandai dengan terpenuhinya 3 indikator yaitu, kepercayaan diri, keingin tahuan dan ketekunan dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Abstrak Peningkatan produktivitas dan efisiensi usaha ternak kambing di Kabupaten Majene memerlukan penerapan inovasi teknologi tepat guna, terutama dalam penyediaan dan pengolahan pakan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus pada penerapan mesin pencetak pakan fermentasi berbasis sistem hidrolik bagi Kelompok Ternak Leppe Barat di Kelurahan Lembang, Kecamatan Banggae Timur, Kabupaten Majene. Mesin ini dirancang untuk mencetak pakan fermentasi padat dengan ukuran 350 mm × 150 mm × 40 mm, disesuaikan dengan anatomi mulut kambing, sehingga lebih mudah dikonsumsi, efisien dalam penyimpanan, dan praktis didistribusikan antarkandang. Program dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan utama, yaitu identifikasi permasalahan mitra, perancangan dan demonstrasi mesin, serta pelatihan penggunaan alat. Hasil evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peternak sebesar 51% (dari rata-rata skor 28% menjadi 79%). Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan efisiensi waktu pencetakan pakan hingga 60% serta penurunan limbah pakan yang tidak termanfaatkan. Penerapan sistem hidrolik terbukti mempermudah proses penekanan dan mengurangi kebutuhan tenaga manual, sehingga alat dapat dioperasikan dengan lebih ringan oleh peternak. Inovasi ini juga mendukung konsep Zero Waste Farming, karena sisa fermentasi pakan dapat diolah kembali menjadi pupuk organik. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa inovasi sederhana berbasis teknologi tepat guna mampu meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, kemandirian, dan kesejahteraan peternak kambing di wilayah Majene. Kata kunci:. majene; mesin hidrolik; pakan fermentasi; penyimpanan pakan; teknologi tepat gun; zero waste farming AbstractImproving the productivity and efficiency of goat farming in Majene Regency requires the application of appropriate technology innovations, particularly in feed preparation and waste management. This community service program focused on the implementation of a hydraulic-based feed fermentation molding machine for the Leppe Barat Livestock Group in Lembang Village, Banggae Timur District, Majene Regency. The machine was designed to produce compact fermented feed blocks with dimensions of 350 mm × 150 mm × 40 mm, adjusted to the anatomy of the goat’s mouth, making them easier to consume, more efficient to store, and practical to distribute between pens. The program was carried out through three main stages: problem identification, machine design and demonstration, and user training. The evaluation results from pre-test and post-test assessments showed a 51% increase in farmers’ knowledge (from an average score of 28% to 79%). In addition, there was a 60% improvement in feed molding efficiency and a noticeable reduction in unutilized feed waste. The hydraulic system significantly simplified the pressing process and reduced manual labor requirements, allowing easier operation even for small-scale farmers. This innovation also supports the Zero Waste Farming concept, as the remaining fermented materials can be processed into organic fertilizer. Overall, the program demonstrates that a simple, appropriate technology-based innovation can effectively enhance work efficiency, self-reliance, and the welfare of local goat farmers in Majene. Keywords: Majene; hydraulic machine; feed fermentation; feed storage; appropriate technology; zero waste farming.

Abstract

Biotechnology learning requires pre-service science teachers to translate concepts into design decisions grounded in creative thinking and innovation-oriented products. Yet, many resources remain content-centered and provide limited guidance for integrated STEM projects. This study developed and evaluated a STEM-based biotechnology e-book using a 4-D Research and Development model. Data were collected through expert validation, readability and practicality questionnaires, classroom observations, a creative thinking pretest and posttest analyzed using normalized gain, and an innovative work assessment rubric. The trials were conducted at a public university in Indonesia through a limited trial (n = 9) and a small-class trial (n = 19), followed by implementation at two universities (n = 30 each). The e-book showed very high validity (92-100%) and very practical ratings (89.63-91). Creative thinking improved substantially, for example, from 60.53 to 91.58 with an n-gain of 0.79 (high), and innovative work scores were consistently high (84 to 88). These findings indicate that project-centered STEM digital media can strengthen creative thinking and innovation outcomes in biotechnology teacher education. These findings imply that STEM-integrated biotechnology e-books embedding structured STEM projects can serve as transferable digital resources to support higher-order outcomes in science teacher preparation.

Abstract

Keberadaan pemimpin sebagai kebutuhan yang bersifat fundamental dalam menjaga stabilitas umat dan menegakkan syariat perlu mendapatkan perhatian untuk keberlangsungan sebuah sistem manajemen. Selain itu ketaatan terhadap pemimpin yang dibatasi oleh kepatuhan pada hukum Allah dan prinsip keadilan juga perlu dikemukan agar diperoleh pemimpin yang amanah. Artikel ini membahas konsep kepemimpinan dalam perspektif siyāsah Islam dengan menelaah berbagai istilah kepemimpinan seperti khalīfah, ūlī al-amr, imām, sulṭān, dan malik yang menggambarkan dimensi moral, spiritual, dan politis dari peran kepala negara dalam Islam. Dalam artikel ini juga dikemukakan beberapa kriteria ideal seorang pemimpin menurut para ulama klasik dan kontemporer serta perdebatan mengenai kepemimpinan non-Muslim dalam masyarakat plural. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan dalam Islam bersifat integral, menuntut keseimbangan antara kompetensi keagamaan, integritas moral, serta komitmen terhadap maṣlaḥah umat. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini menegaskan bahwa pemimpin dalam Islam bukan hanya figur administratif, tetapi juga penjaga nilai-nilai ilāhiyyah dan sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas isu nepotisme politik dalam perspektif fiqh siyasah (fikih ketatanegaraan Islam), dengan mengkaji pandangan ulama klasik dan kontemporer. Nepotisme politik yakni pengangkatan kerabat dalam jabatan publik atas dasar hubungan keluarga, bukan kelayakan merupakan ancaman serius bagi keadilan, kepercayaan publik, dan tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif normatif dengan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menelaah sumber hukum Islam primer serta literatur otoritatif fiqh siyasah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nepotisme bertentangan secara fundamental dengan prinsip- prinsip keadilan (‘adl), amanah, dan kemaslahatan (maslahah) dalam Islam. Para ulama seperti Al-Mawardi dan Ibn Taymiyyah hingga Yusuf al-Qaradawi dan Wahbah al-Zuhaili secara konsisten mengecam nepotisme sebagai bentuk kepemimpinan yang tidak etis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan sistem pemerintahan berbasis meritokrasi, penguatan mekanisme syura, serta perlindungan institusional untuk mencegah konsentrasi kekuasaan dalam lingkup keluarga. Prinsip-prinsip ini bertujuan memulihkan akuntabilitas dan integritas kepemimpinan sesuai dengan etika politik Islam.
