Abstract

Conflict is an integral part of social life, including in the school environment. Interactions between students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds and with different personalities often lead to conflict. If not managed properly, conflict in the school environment can result in aggressive behavior, bullying, and other acts of violence. Schools, as educational institutions, play a strategic role in shaping the character and social skills of students. One approach that can be applied is conflict resolution education, which focuses on developing communication skills, empathy, and peaceful problem-solving (Deutsch et al., 2016). Based on this urgency, this community service program aims to provide conflict resolution skills training for students at SMA Negeri 7 Kota Malang. The main target of this activity is 10th grade students so that they have effective conflict resolution skills to create a safe and conducive learning environment. The material provided covers the causes of conflict and Simon Fisher's five quadrants of conflict resolution, namely Avoiding, Dominating, Accommodating, Problem Solving/Collaborating, and Compromising (Fisher et al., 2001). By equipping students with these skills, they are expected to be able to resolve disputes constructively without resorting to violence. Conflict resolution educational interventions in schools can reduce aggressive behavior and increase positive relationships between students. Conflict resolution skills also contribute to building a more inclusive and harmonious school culture.

Abstract

One of the cassava-producing districts in the highlands topography is Toba Regency. Cassava plantation centres spread across Toba Regency are located in Laguboti District. Cassava land is starting to be displaced due to a lack of land management and processing. This study aims to enable the community to maximize the growth of cassava-based on different genotypes and land use according to soil characteristics so as to increase the production of cassava as a food crop in Toba Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The method is the determination of land units, observations of morphological characteristics of cassava, observations of land characteristics, and the collection and analysis of soil samples on cassava fields carried out in the laboratory. The results were 7 types of cassava diversity in Toba Regency with different morphological characters, namely Malaysia (G1), Siroti (G2), Simerah (G3), Sumedang (G4), Siputih (G5), Adira (G6) and UJ5. (G7). The distribution of pH and nutrient content in each cassava field with different genotypes in Laguboti District, Toba Regency is very varied. pH ranged from acid-neutral, Nitrogen ranged from 0.17% – 0.63%, Phosphorus ranged from 0.05% – 0.24%, and Potassium ranged from 0.04% – 0.27%. The altitude of the place ranges from 920-940 m asl.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed various sectors, including education, requiring adaptive and innovative approaches to learning systems. This study aims to analyze the transformation of digital technology-based education in the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) and to examine the readiness of the community to adapt to such transformation. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this research synthesizes findings from relevant academic sources, policy documents, and previous studies related to digital education, smart city development, and human resource readiness. The results indicate that the transformation of education in IKN is closely linked to the integration of digital infrastructure, such as e-learning platforms and hybrid learning systems, which enhance accessibility, flexibility, and learning effectiveness. Furthermore, the implementation of digital education supports the broader vision of IKN as a smart city by fostering a digitally literate and innovation-oriented society. However, several challenges remain, including unequal access to digital infrastructure, varying levels of digital literacy, and limited institutional readiness. These challenges highlight the importance of comprehensive strategies that integrate technological development with human resource capacity building. The study also finds that community readiness plays a crucial role in determining the success of digital education transformation, as it influences the adoption and sustainability of technology-based learning. Therefore, the government and educational institutions must prioritize digital literacy programs, infrastructure development, and inclusive policies to ensure equitable access to education. This research contributes to the existing literature by providing a comprehensive analysis of digital education transformation within the context of a newly developed capital city and offers practical implications for policymakers and stakeholders in designing sustainable and inclusive education systems in the digital era

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with a growing number of diabetes mellitus cases each year. This disease can cause damage to vital organs such as the liver, pancreas, kidneys, and heart. Type 1 diabetes is generally treated with insulin, while type 2 diabetes is commonly managed with oral medications. Recently, metal complexes have emerged as promising alternatives for antidiabetic therapy. Among these, iron(III) complexes are of interest, although research on Fe(III) complexes remains limited. This study aims to synthesize and evaluate the in vivo antidiabetic activity of an iron(III)-glycine complex. The synthesized complex appeared as an orange-brown solid with a yield of 95.02% and a sample mass of 0.267 g. UV-Vis spectrophotometric analysis showed absorption peaks at 210, 224, and 305 nm, indicating the presence of the Fe(III)-glycine complex. FTIR analysis revealed characteristic absorption bands corresponding to Fe–O at 523 cm⁻¹ and Fe–N at 823 cm⁻¹. In vivo tests were conducted on mice induced with alloxan. Body weight of the mice decreased after induction but stabilized after treatment during the third and fourth weeks. The highest reduction in blood glucose levels was observed at a dose of 200 μg/kg body weight, with a 68% decrease. These results suggest that the Fe(III)-glycine complex exhibits potential as an antidiabetic agent.
