Abstract

Visual identity plays a crucial role in shaping the image of a product, including in the local culinary industry. However, studies on how visual elements reinforce cultural identity in culinary branding remain limited. This study aims to analyze the visual identity of Kupat Tahu Magelang from the perspectives of communication, aesthetics, and information content in establishing a distinctive regional culinary identity. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as direct observation, semi-structured interviews with business owners, and a literature review on branding and visual aesthetics. The findings indicate that the visual identity of Kupat Tahu Magelang, dominated by bold typography and striking colors, effectively captures audience attention. However, the design lacks representation of Magelang’s local cultural elements. Therefore, integrating culturally inspired visual elements, such as traditional batik motifs or culinary icons, is necessary to enhance emotional appeal and product uniqueness. This study recommends a more culture-based design strategy to strengthen the competitive advantage of Kupat Tahu Magelang in both local and national markets.

Abstract

Introduction: One of the legal goods provided by a notary is a cover note, which is a statement in the management of a deed or a notarial document stating that the deed is in progress and can be finished within the time set by the cover note.Purposes of the Research:  A notary certificate is referred to as a cover note, as a substitute for the process of obtaining a certificate from a notary public, land title guarantees can be replaced temporarily depending on needs and developments. Notaries can make issue cover notes, which have legal consequences and make legal norms null and void. The legal basis for making and issuing cover notes is not yet known. This paper discusses two matters: What legal authority does a notary have to issue a cover note? What are the legal consequences of publishing a cover note by a notary? Methods of the Research: This is typical of legal writings that take a legal approach and examine legal concepts. In socio legal research, research begins with a hypothesis. After formulating the hypotheses, the hypotheses are tested. Data collection techniques in socio legal research are carried out through interviews, observation, questionnaires and document analysis. Results of the Research: However, notaries are allowed to issue and make cover notes because it is a form of agreement. This paper concludes that there is no legal basis for regulating cover notes. If the duties and authorities do not comply with the contents of the cover note, the law will result in a violation of Article 1366 of the Criminal Code.

Abstract

General Seizure of Personal Guarantee Assets in the Bankruptcy of the Principal Debtor, can be carried out and regulated in the provisions of the Bankruptcy Law and Civil Law. So that the Personal Guarantee has responsibility for the bankruptcy statement of the principal debtor, but in practice there is an interesting phenomenon, for example, in the Medan District Court Decision Number 6/Pdt. Sus-Others/2019/PN. Niaga. Mdn. there is a phenomenon of the seizure of Personal guarantee assets without a bankruptcy statement against the Personal Guarantee. Normative legal research with a statutory regulatory approach and case studies. The results of this study indicate that Article 1832 of the Civil Code number 2 states that the position between the Principal Debtor and the Guarantor or Personal Guarantee or Borgtocht is the same as a Debtor. Personal Guarantee assets cannot be seized in the bankruptcy of the Principal Debtor, a sign that there is a bankruptcy statement against the Personal Guarantee and the Personal Guarantee releases its Special Rights. In Decision Number: 6/Pdt. Sus-Lain-lain/2019/PN. Niaga. Mdn Jo. Number: 2/Pdt. Sus. Bankrupt/2018/PN. Niaga does not reflect justice, therefore the Personal Guarantee assets are not included in the Bankrupt Boedel because the Personal Guarantee is not bankrupt, so that general seizure cannot be carried out and general seizure is not in accordance with the contents of the guarantee agreement that has been agreed upon by the creditor and guarantor.

Abstract
