Abstract

Cryptography plays a critical role in safeguarding data, making it an essential subject in information security education. Within this course, various algorithms are introduced, each requiring different levels of computational complexity. However, instructional practice has revealed frequent student errors in executing encryption and decryption processes, primarily due to limited understanding of cryptographic algorithms and mathematical procedures. Since accuracy is fundamental in cryptography, miscalculations can lead to incorrect message interpretation. To mitigate these issues, the learning process is supported by CrypTool, a digital aid designed to guide students through encryption and decryption tasks and minimize computational errors

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's controlling function towards the use of learning media in supporting lifelong learning at SMPN 5 Bukit Tambun, Anambas Islands Regency. The background of this study is based on the importance of the principal's role as a controller of learning management who ensures that media is used effectively, innovatively, and in accordance with the needs of students in the digital era, while also facing geographical challenges and limited facilities in the archipelago region. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, which are then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the discussion indicate that the principal's controlling function includes three important aspects: first, the principal's role in controlling the use of learning media through supervision, coaching, and evaluation; second, the effectiveness of the use of learning media in increasing motivation, understanding concepts, and supporting the principles of lifelong learning; and third, challenges faced such as limited infrastructure, teacher capabilities, and geographical barriers, which are overcome through strategies to improve teacher competency, routine monitoring, optimization of simple media, and collaboration with external parties. Thus, this study confirms that the principal's controlling function is not only as a supervisory instrument, but also as a key factor in realizing lifelong learning in schools.

Abstract

Academic management plays a strategic role in improving the quality of education by focusing on curriculum management, human resource development, and the utilization of technology. Effective curriculum management ensures adaptability and relevance to the needs of students, society, and the job market. Human resource development, through continuous professional training, enhances the competencies of educators and administrative staff, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration. Additionally, the integration of technology in academic management streamlines administrative processes, supports data-driven decision-making, and expands learning accessibility and flexibility for students. However, challenges such as digital divides and infrastructure limitations require inclusive strategies to ensure equitable implementation. This study emphasizes that the synergy between these three components is crucial for creating an educational ecosystem that is efficient, effective, and future-oriented. Academic management, when executed effectively, serves as the foundation for producing competent, innovative, and globally competitive graduates.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to conduct an in-depth study of the relationship between academic management and educational quality with a focus on leadership development. The preparation of this work used the literature review method by searching for data via Google Scholar and Sinta using the keyword principal leadership. The five identification steps include interpreting the scope of the topic, identifying relevant sources, reviewing the literature, writing a review, and applying the literature to the study, with data from six articles analyzed qualitatively. The results of the work emphasize a) the importance of visionary academic leadership with the support of leadership theory to formulate educational direction and achieve quality goals. b) The integration of management concepts, academic engagement, and collective collaboration in educational leadership provides inspiration for continuous improvement and educational excellence. c) Academic leaders must be adaptive strategic decision makers, maintain optimal educational quality, and ensure the positive contribution of educational institutions to society. d) The importance of establishing an organizational culture that supports improving the quality of teaching and staff performance in a conducive work environment. e) Facing contemporary challenges, academic leaders need to have a strategic vision, a balance between leadership and management, and the ability to manage resources to respond to the rapid dynamics of the times.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi dan evaluasi kebijakan pendidikan, dan mengetahui sejauh mana kebijakan-kebijakan yang telah ditetapkan dapat diterapkan dengan efektif di lapangan dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menghambat atau mendukung pelaksanaan kebijakan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan fokus pada tinjauan pustaka. Proses pemilihan artikel dilakukan dengan teliti untuk memastikan literatur yang digunakan memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Data dikumpulkan dari database Jurnal Sinta dan Garuda Ristek Dikti. Pencarian artikel difokuskan pada topik implementasi dan evaluasi kebijakan pendidikan, menggunakan query pencarian melalui Google Scholar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi dan evaluasi kebijakan pendidikan menekankan pentingnya perencanaan matang, sosialisasi efektif, pelaksanaan tepat, dan evaluasi cermat. Aspek utama yang ditekankan meliputi Kurikulum Merdeka, peningkatan kualitas tenaga pendidik, dan pembaruan sarana prasarana. Kerjasama erat antara semua pihak diperlukan dalam proses implementasi, sementara evaluasi komprehensif membantu mengidentifikasi keberhasilan, tantangan, dan dampak kebijakan. Inisiatif seperti metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas dan prestasi siswa, tetapi juga mengungkapkan tantangan seperti kurangnya sumber daya dan kesenjangan antar sekolah. Kesimpulannya, implementasi dan evaluasi kebijakan pendidikan adalah proses dinamis dan kompleks yang penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, dengan temuan evaluasi membantu memperbaiki dan melanjutkan inisiatif yang berhasil.

Abstract

Proses paling signifikan yang kita lalui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, disadari atau tidak, adalah sosialisasi. Kebijakan di bidang pendidikan mempunyai dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan moral siswa. bermaksud untuk memastikan metode yang digunakan untuk mensosialisasikan kebijakan pendidikan, serta tahapan yang terlibat, taktik sosialisasi, dan media yang digunakan untuk melakukan sosialisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif yang sesuai dengan keadaan awal dan dilihat dari sudut sosialisasi kebijakan pendidikan. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa ada tiga tahap yang harus dipertimbangkan ketika mensosialisasikan kebijakan pendidikan: 1) persiapan; 2) imitasi (atau permainan); dan 3) aksi (atau permainan). Sosialisasi kebijakan pendidikan dapat dilakukan melalui berbagai media, antara lain media elektronik (seperti CD atau compact disk), media sosial, radio, televisi, dan radio, serta media komunikasi (seperti poster, leaflet, brosur, spanduk, dan baliho).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui strategi kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan kompetensi guru SDIT Raissalam Rokan Hulu, 2) Untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam peningkatan kompetensi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikkan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Strategi Kepala Sekolah dalam peningkatan kompetensi guru sudah berjalan dengan baik seperti pengamatan lingkungan, perumusan strategi, implementasi startegi, evaluasi dan kontrol. 2) Adapun Faktor pendukung Strategi Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru yaitu: a) Kepala sekolah dan yayasan mendukung penuh kegiatan-kegiatan dalam rangka peningkatan kompetensi guru. b) tenaga pendidik adalah sarjana pendidikan strata satu dan sebagian besar memiliki pengalaman dalam mengajar. c) adanya bimbinga dan pengawasan dari dinas pendidikan Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Sedangkan faktor penghambat startegi kepala sekolah dalam digitalisasi pendidikan . a) memilih waktu pelaksanaan yang tidak mengganggu kegiatan belajar mengajar anak. b) adanya tenaga pendidik yang baru lulus kuliah dan merupakan bukan sarjana pendidikan guru. c) peraturan pemerintah yang berubah- ubah mengenai kurikulum pendidikan, d) kurangnya sarana prasarana yang menunjang pengimplementasian peningkatan kompetensi guru di kelas.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis supervisi kepegawaian (ketenagaan) pendidikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian literature riview dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari kajian literatur yang berasal dari buku-buku serta jurnal supervisi kepegawaian (ketenagaan) pendidikan.. Data di analisis dengan cara mereduksi data, mengdisplay data dan menarik sebuah kesimpulan. Hasil temuan pada penelitian ini yaitu Ada 2 jenis Supervisi Kepegawaian (Ketenagaan) Pendidikan yaitu Supervisi Manajerial (tenaga pendidikan) dan Supervisi Akademik (guru). Supervisi Manajerial yaitu supervisi yang menitikberatkan pada pemantauan, pembinaan, dan pembimbingan pada aspek-aspek pengelolaan dan administrasi sekolah yang berfungsi sebagai pendukung (supporting) terlaksananya pembelajaran.. Supervisi Akademik yaitu supervisi yang menitikberatkan pada pemantauan, pembinaan, dan pembimbingan pengawas sekolah terhadap kegiatan akademik, berupa pembelajaran baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas.

Abstract

The curriculum has a dynamic nature, from time to time it can change according to the current situation and conditions. Therefore, strategic curriculum management is needed in designing and developing curricula according to the needs of the times, one of which is by carrying out educative interaction learning. This research method uses Library Research or library research by collecting various kinds of data and literacy needed. The results of this study are that strategic management of curriculum development and educative interaction is needed in schools to achieve the vision, mission and goals of these educational institutions. In its implementation, it is necessary to pay attention to the goals and steps of curriculum development, namely: formulating instructional objectives, selecting learning experiences (selection of learning experiences), organizing learning experiences (organization of learning experiences), and evaluating (evaluating).

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of a community service initiative aimed at enhancing understanding of legal responsibilities in ship accidents among participants from the Sinar Bahari Palembang Shipping Vocational School in Indonesia. Given the dense maritime activity in the region, which exposes vessels to various risks including shipwrecks, groundings, collisions, and fires, a clear comprehension of legal accountability is crucial. The initiative utilized legal counseling sessions incorporating presentations and interactive question-and-answer methods. These sessions engaged 40 participants, including both educators and students, in discussions concerning maritime safety protocols, identification of liable parties in accidents, the role of the National Transportation Safety Commission, and law enforcement measures. Results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding across various key areas. Participants demonstrated heightened awareness regarding maritime security and safety protocols, enabling them to better navigate potential risks. Additionally, they gained clarity on the parties legally responsible for ship accidents, which is essential for ensuring accountability and fair compensation in case of incidents. Moreover, participants acquired insights into the role played by the National Transportation Safety Commission in handling ship accidents, including its investigative and regulatory functions. Understanding these roles helps in facilitating effective accident response and prevention strategies. Furthermore, participants developed a better understanding of the legal enforcement mechanisms applicable to ship accident cases. This knowledge is crucial for ensuring adherence to maritime laws and regulations, thereby promoting safety and accountability within the maritime industry.
