Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) adalah suatu pemikiran dan upaya untuk menjamin minimnya terjadi kecelakaan kerja, penyakit akibat kerja, kebakaran, peledakan dan pencemaran lingkungan. K3 dapat ditingkatkan salah satu nya dengan menerapkan 5R (Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, Rajin). 5R akan lebih optimal dengan adanya pengawasan pada saat melakukan aktivitas kerja. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan pengawasan dengan perilaku 5R pada proyek Stasiun LRT Jatimulya Bekasi Timur tahun 2019. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu observasionalanalitik dengan menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 80 responden. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan ρ-value=1000 pada variabel perilaku, ρ-value=0.049 pada variabel sikap dan hasil ρ-value=0.011 pada variabel sarana. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengawasan dengan perilaku 5R, namun terdapat hubungan antara sikap dan prasarana dengan perilaku 5R pada pekerja Proyek Stasiun LRT di Jatimulya Bekasi Timur tahun 2019.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana variabel motivasi kerja dan komunikasi organisasi mempengaruhi kinerja dosen dan tenaga kependidikan lainnya. Kinerja dosen dan tenaga kependidikan (Y) bergantung pada komunikasi organisasi (X1), motivasi kerja (X2), dan kedua variabel tersebut bersifat independen. Adapun populasi dari penelitian ini adalah dosen dan tenaga kependidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta sejumlah 100 orang atau responden. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas, analisis regresi berganda, uji T, dan uji R2 merupakan teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan temuan evaluasi hipotesis pertama terdapat pengaruh substansial komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja dosen dan tenaga kependidikan sebesar 0,001 (p0,05). Berdasarkan temuan hipotesis kedua terdapat pengaruh signifikan sebesar 0,001 (p0,5) motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen dan tenaga kependidikan lainnya. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, motivasi kerja dan komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja dosen dan tenaga kependidikan lainnya.

Abstract

Film are present as mass media for delivering messages to audience with purpose of describing social life that occurs in society. Kartini movie is a biographical drama film directed by Hanung Bramantyo that elevates the emancipation fighter Raden Ajeng Kartini in an effort to gain equality and fight againts the culture that limits women. This research is intended to find out how the audience’s reception of gender discrimination experienced by women in the Kartini Movie. The theory used in this research is Stuart Hall’s encoding/decoding model of audience reception. This research uses qualitative approach with an interview data collection method. The results of the interview of the four informants with seven concept of women discrimination in the Kartini Film showed diverse interpretations including dominant-hegemonic posittion, negotiated position, and opposition position. The interpretation of the four informants were motivated by the environment, organization, familiy, and mass media.

Abstract

Pelatihan Aplikasi Pendataan Penduduk untuk Pengurus RT Kota Samarinda merupakan program pelatihan yang ditujukan kepada para pengurus Rukun Tetangga (RT) di Kota Samarinda untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola data penduduk secara efisien. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta mengenai penggunaan aplikasi pendataan penduduk yang dapat mempermudah proses pengumpulan, pengolahan, dan pemeliharaan data penduduk di tingkat RT.Selama pelatihan, peserta akan diberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar dalam penggunaan aplikasi pendataan penduduk yang mencakup pendaftaran penduduk baru, pemutakhiran data penduduk, pencatatan perubahan status penduduk, dan manajemen data penduduk secara keseluruhan. Pelatihan juga akan melibatkan sesi praktik langsung menggunakan aplikasi, sehingga peserta dapat mengaplikasikan pengetahuan yang telah mereka peroleh. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan para pengurus RT di Kota Samarinda akan mampu menjalankan tugas mereka dengan lebih efektif dan efisien dalam mengelola data penduduk. Aplikasi pendataan penduduk akan membantu mengurangi risiko kesalahan data, meningkatkan akurasi informasi penduduk, dan mempercepat proses pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan data yang valid. Dalam jangka panjang, hal ini diharapkan dapat berdampak positif terhadap pembangunan dan perencanaan kota Samarinda, serta pelayanan publik yang lebih baik kepada warga masyarakat.

Abstract

Fine motor skills in children that involve movements using small muscles in the hands and wrists need to be trained through writing, eating, dressing, and playing activities. These skills develop gradually from birth to adulthood and require regular practice. One of the play activities to train fine motor skills in early childhood is assembling robots. This activity can improve children's fine motor skills, improve hand-eye coordination, dexterity, accuracy, strength, creativity, problem solving, and spatial awareness. The robot used in this activity is a line follower robot. There are 3 types of robots used in this activity. This activity was carried out with students of Kartika V-16 Samarinda Kindergarten which began with interviews with teachers, preparing activity materials, and presenting materials while practicing them with students and parents. The results of this activity show that assembling robots from used goods is not only fun, but also educational and improves the relationship between parents and children. This activity can also be an effective and fun way to introduce children to the world of technology and support the development of their essential skills.

Abstract

This research was carried out using Robert Entman's framing model analysis on the online media kompas.com and detik.com. This research discusses the relocation of Rempang Island in the period September-November 2023. This research uses a qualitative approach. The object of this research is the Relocation of Rempang Island, which is a Government project, namely the development of the area that will become Rempang Eco City. The relocation of Rempang Island which is on Batam Island, Riau Islands, is a government project which has long been planned to build Rempang Eco City but only in 2023 will this development get investors so that this development can be realized, as a result of this the government has to carry out the relocation to the residents of Rempang, as a result of this there were demonstrations and clashes demanding that they not be relocated, demanding rights and clarity regarding this relocation issue from the government. The results of the research focus more on the meaning and prominence of messages in several news frames on kompas.com and detik.com.

Abstract

The Investment Gallery of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) serves as a means of introducing the Capital Market to the academic world. The IDX is a collaboration between universities and securities companies, aiming to introduce the Capital Market from both theoretical and practical perspectives. A common social phenomenon is where individuals are influenced to make decisions because others in their environment are doing so. This phenomenon frequently occurs in the investment world, where investors follow the actions of other investors despite having limited knowledge and information. The lack of interest in investing is due to two factors, namely knowledge and motivation to invest. This research is quantitative, utilizing a quantitative approach which is a method to test specific theories and can be conducted by examining the relationships between variables. The data collection techniques used include observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The sample size used in this study is 91 respondents. The data analysis techniques used are validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. Firstly, the results of this study indicate that partially, the investment knowledge variable, with a significance level of 0.020 < 0.05 and a t-value of 2.371, compared to the t-table value of 1.661, shows that t-value 2.371 > t-table 1.661, has a positive and significant effect on the interest in investing among students of the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Economics at the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Secondly, the motivation variable shows that partially, the motivation variable, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 6.028, compared to the t-table value of 1.661, shows that t-value 6.028 > t-table 1.661, has a positive and significant effect on the interest in investing among students of the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Economics at the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Thirdly, simultaneously, the investment knowledge and motivation variables have a positive and significant effect with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 and an F-value of 96.812 > F-table 3.10. Therefore, it can be concluded that the investment knowledge and motivation variables have a positive and significant effect on students' interest in investing in the Indonesia Stock Exchange by 68.0%, while the remaining 32.0% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Research on the safety of Jamu (herbal medicine) formula is important to guarantee its use in community. The Jamu Saintification development program has been resulted a cholesterol-lowering herb containing of 7 plants. This study aimed to determine the safety of the cholesterol-lowering herb. This study is a phase one of clinical trial with a pre-post group design, a single arm, involving 50 subjects with mild hypercholesterolemia without any complications and comorbidities. The intervention was conducted for 28 days at the Hortus Medicus Herbal Medicine Research House (RRJ) in 2014. Outcome parameters included clinical signs and symptoms, liver function laboratory tests (SGOT, SGPT), renal function (ureum, creatinine) and routine blood counts (hemoglobin, leukocyte, platelets, hematocrit). Subjects were requested to boil the herb everyday and drank it twice a day. The data were analyzed descriptively and statistically using SPSS. The results showed increasing in bowel frequencies of 92% subjects and abdominal pain in bowel movements of 34% subjects. These effects were still in a normal range and can be tolerated by the subjects. The paired t test analysis showed no differences in average laboratory parameters on day (D)-14 and D-28 compared to the baseline (p > 0.05). The cholesterol-lowering herbal medicine does not change the function of the liver, kidneys and blood, with mild side effects of increasing the frequencies of bowel movements and stomachaches.

Abstract

Hypertension is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Hypertension is one of the main causes of high mortality and morbidity in Indonesia. Utilization of medicinal herbs is an alternative for the treatment of hypertension. The study aimed to determine efficacy of the herbs combination (jamu) compared to hydrochlorothiazide (HCT) and evaluated the safety for hypertention stage I. This research method using an open-label randomized clinical trials with intervention for 56 days. Measurement of day-56 (D-56) showed that herbs decreased sistolic blood pressure to130.15 +17.59mmHg and diastolic at 83.82+9.53 mmHg. There was a significant decrease p = 0.000 (p 0.05), with p mean systolic blood pressure (p = 0.370) and mean diastolic blood pressure (p = 0.412)at D-56. Liver function parameters (SGOT, SGPT) and renal function (urea, creatinine) is still in normal range at the end of intervention. This study showed that herbs combination was an equally effective compared to HCT and safe for hypertension stage I.
