Abstract

Trangsan Village, Gatak District, Sukoharjo Regency, has faced environmental challenges related to waste management, particularly organic waste. The establishment of a Waste Bank has successfully addressed the issue of inorganic waste management. However, there has been a lack of innovation in the management of organic waste in an environmentally friendly manner. To address this issue, a community service team initiated a mentoring program for the production of eco-enzyme through the Waste Bank. This activity involved intensive socialization and mentoring for the community, especially the Waste Bank managers and Karang Taruna youth organization. The results of this program indicate an increase in community understanding and skills in processing organic waste, as well as the potential for developing eco-enzyme products as a sustainable environmental effort in Trangsan Village.

Abstract

The solid waste problem is still a topic of discussion in various forums. One of the most densely populated villages in Sukoharjo Regency, i.e. Makamhaji Village, produces a large volume of waste, and is a problem in itself. This Community Service Program invites the people of Windan, Makamhaji to process household organic solid waste through maggot bioconversion which can also have economic value. The team carried out socialization and community empowerment activities to reduce the amount of waste through maggot cultivation which can decompose organic waste into protein as part of the life cycle of black soldier flies (BSF). This program aims to provide technological information in maggot cultivation and improve the quality of human resources. The methods applied are through training, mentoring, monitoring, evaluation, provision and lending of facilities, and increasing cooperation networks with business actors in the field of waste processing. Community service activities have succeeded in fostering residents to carry out maggot cultivation and are quite productive so that they can increase income.

Abstract

Kampung Edukasi Duren Sari, located in Kembangkuning Village, Cepogo District, Boyolali Regency, has very diverse educational tourism potential. Visitors are invited to enjoy tourism while refreshing their memories of ancient culture through Griya Kawruh and traditional children's games in Plataran Srawung. Tourists can also see firsthand the installation of renewable alternative energy at the Biogas House. However, the facilities and infrastructure in these locations are very limited and less attractive to tourists. The purpose of this activity is to revitalize the Kampung Edukasi through a site plan design to increase tourist attractiveness. Griya Kawruh is designed with a new landscape through the addition of a replica of a traditional well and tidying up the yard by installing paving blocks. The Plataran Srawung is equipped with replicas of stilt games and flower gardens, as well as a spectator stand. Meanwhile, the Biogas House is designed starting from arranging access to the location to comfortable seating for learning about biogas. The new site plan design is expected to transform traditional educational tourist spots into more elegant and attractive to visit.

Abstract

Kapanewon Pleret merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan tingkat kerusakan tertinggi saat gempa bumi Bantul 27 Mei 2006. Namun hingga saat ini, belum terdapat kajian yang secara khusus memetakan karakteristik geologi lokal dan kerentanan seismik di wilayah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi bahaya gempa bumi di Kapanewon Pleret, Kabupaten Bantul, berdasarkan karakteristik geologi lokal yang diperoleh melalui metode Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR). Data mikrotremor dari 70 titik diolah untuk memperoleh parameter frekuensi dominan (fₒ), faktor amplifikasi (Aₒ), indeks kerentanan seismik (Kg), percepatan tanah maksimum (PGA), dan Ground Shear Strain (GSS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai fₒ berkisar antara 0,62–12,17 Hz, Aₒ antara 0,89–6,41, dan Kg dalam rentang 0,18–26,02. Nilai PGA berada pada kisaran 0,08 hingga >0,79 g, sementara GSS tercatat antara 1,06 × 10⁻⁴ hingga 1,42 × 10⁻². Zona dengan nilai fₒ rendah, Aₒ tinggi, serta Kg dan GSS tinggi banyak ditemukan pada wilayah yang tersusun atas endapan Merapi muda, yang menunjukkan tingkat kerentanan seismik yang signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya karakterisasi geologi lokal sebagai dasar perencanaan mitigasi bencana gempa bumi.

Abstract

Data 2022 shows that the total number of UMS students is 36,712 students. With such a number, the impact on the high demand for temporary housing (kos). With this large number of boarding houses, violations of social rules and norms are also high. Based on this, this community service aims to develop an information system that makes it easier for members of the public to report violations. The methods used in this activity are situation analysis, system creation, socialization, and system handover. The results of the activity show that community service activities are going well with the main indicator, namely the information system has been successfully created and socialized to residents and the UMS Disciplinary Team. However, for its implementation, further coordination is still needed with Bagmawa UMS, as well as improving the system according to needs.

Abstract

Peningkatan kinerja UMKM bisa mendapatkan beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja UMKM itu sendiri seperti pengelolaan keuangan dan fintech. Namun masih terdapat masalah pada pengelolaan keuangan UMKM yaitu belum adanya pemisahan antara harta pribadi dan harta usaha, dikarenakan kurangnya atau buruknya pengetahuan keuangan dan sikap keuangan pelaku UMKM. Kemudian pada fintech  dengan jenis digital payment juga masih ditemukan permasalahan yaitu kurangnya pemahaman menggunakan pembayaran berbasis digital dan keamanan transaksi yang kurang terjamin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengelolaan keuangan dan digital payment terhadap kinerja UMKM. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan analisa menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan menguji variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat secara parsial dan simultan dengan bantuan program SPSS. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dengann teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling, dengan responden yang berasal dari UMKM sebanyak 98 responden di Kecamatan Rangkui Kota Pangkalpinang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel pengelolaan keuangan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja UMKM. Digital payment juga berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja UMKM. Pengelolaan keuangan dan digital payment secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja UMKM.

Abstract

This study examines the socio-ecological crisis in Wanurejo Village following its transformation into a tourism destination. From a constructivist perspective and using Luhmann’s social system theory, it explores the causes of the crisis and the formation of a Community-Based Tourism (CBT) communication system. Findings reveal that environmental degradation stems from farmers’ vulnerability and tourism complexity. Effective CBT development requires inclusive participation, fair income distribution, and alignment with the Borobudur image. The study concludes that balancing tourism growth with environmental and social justice is essential, and an inclusive communication system can enhance community involvement and reduce the adverse impacts of tourism.

Abstract

The number of cases of bullying that occur in the school environment makes important attention in the world of education today, one of which is in Central Java. Thus making the mass media joined the rollicking to report the case. This research uses qualitative approach with Robert n framing analysis method. Etnman. The purpose of this study to determine the framing of news cases of bullying at the level of Central Java in the online media Detikjateng.com and Tribunjateng.com. Data were collected from news articles published in September 2023-February 2024. The results showed that the media Detikjateng.com and Tribunjateng.com has an important role in conveying information about bullying cases, focusing on several elements, namely physical, verbal and social bullying. In addition, the news also covers the handling of cases by the authorities and the psychological impact experienced by victims. This study emphasizes the need for more attention to the handling of cases of bullying as well as increased public awareness of this issue to create a safer educational environment for students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the marketing strategies implemented by TVKU (Television of Dian Nuswantoro University) in optimizing customer engagement in the digital era. As a local television station, TVKU faces significant challenges in maintaining its existence amidst the rapid growth of digital media. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the TVKU marketing team and its business partners. The results show that TVKU applies three main marketing strategies: pull, push, and pass. The pull strategy is implemented by creating relevant, engaging, and educational content through digital platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. The push strategy involves partnerships with various parties, both commercially and through barter agreements, along with offering flexible promotional services. The pass strategy focuses on building a positive brand image through consistent content and sustainable collaborations. These strategies have proven effective in increasing audience involvement (customer engagement) and expanding the network of business partners. This research is expected to serve as a reference for local media companies in developing relevant marketing strategies in the digital age, and to contribute to the advancement of communication and digital marketing studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan media dari akun media sosial X @timpenguinnas terhadap pandangan politik Generasi Z. Terpaan media dalam konteks ini diartikan sebagai intensitas paparan informasi yang diterima secara terus-menerus dari media tertentu, yang dapat memengaruhi cara individu berpikir, menilai, dan bersikap terhadap isu-isu politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, serta teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara terpaan media terhadap pandangan politik Generasi Z. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai t hitung sebesar 4,201 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,001, yang berarti semakin tinggi intensitas terpaan media dari akun @timpenguinnas, maka semakin besar pengaruhnya terhadap pembentukan pandangan politik responden. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,361 dan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,130 menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 13% variasi pandangan politik Generasi Z dapat dijelaskan oleh terpaan media tersebut, sedangkan 87% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti latar belakang keluarga, lingkungan sosial, pendidikan, dan pengalaman pribadi. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya peran media sosial dalam membentuk sikap politik generasi muda, sehingga penyampaian informasi perlu dilakukan secara bijak dan bertanggung jawab.
