Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Instagram account @rumayshocom mediates religion in conveying Islamic da'wah via Instagram social media. This research focuses on da'wah communication related to Islamic law and sharia carried out via the social media Instagram. This research uses a descriptive method and a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through documentation studies on the @rumayshocom Instagram account in the form of screenshots of uploaded preaching content along with caption text accompanying the content and interviews with the @rumayshocom account to help validate the findings. This research uses the concept of mediation to explain the phenomenon of mediated communication. The research results obtained are that the @rumayshocom account mediates religion in conveying Islamic da'wah via the social media Instagram by using media as a language through the application of standard Indonesian and media as an environment through the application of da'wah communication using the bil qalam da'wah method in conveying its messages to the audience.

Abstract

This article will discuss the construction of Pekalongan cultural identity in the ‘Ngalor Ngidul Kalongan’ program on Batik TV Pekalongan. This program was chosen as a context to show how local content from the Local Public Broadcasting Institution (LPPL) constructs cultural identity. One of the differences with other studies on local content is the selection of television media and the concepts used. The concepts used are identity, cultural identity, local content and the role of local television. Batik TV was chosen as the object of research because of its position as an LPPL that differentiates its function and role from private television and TVRI. The method used is a literature study and observation of the Ngalor Ngidul Kalongan program broadcast on Batik TV Pekalongan. The literature study was conducted by selecting journal articles that are relevant to the research theme. Observations were made by reading broadcast descriptions and watching program content. The results of the study show that the construction of cultural identity appears in the program content which includes history, traditions, culinary, current community activities that are associated with the cultural identity of Pekalongan residents. The selection of the host and assistant host represents the figure of a cultural figure and the millennial young generation. This is to show the relationship between cultural materials and efforts to attract the interest of the millennial generation to watch the show. The construction of Pekalongan's cultural identity presented in the Ngalor Ngidul Kalongan show on Batik TV illustrates the characteristics of the behavior and way of thinking of 'Pekalongan people'. The show not only constructs identity from the aspect of type, but also commodifies it as a flagship show.

Abstract

The runway is one of the airport airside facilities that plays a crucial role in the safety and comfort of flight operations. The condition of the runway needs to be monitored for pavement feasibility so as not to interfere with the movement of aircraft. In maintaining pavement feasibility, maintenance and repair planning are required. Maintenance and repair planning must be adjusted to the needs of handling damage that occurs. Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is one of the methods commonly used in analyzing pavement damage. Through the results of the PCI, appropriate maintenance and repair planning can be determined for damage to the passenger parking area. The method used is visual observation of the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) based on ASTM D5340-98. The result of this research is that the runway area of Toraja Airport obtained a PCI value of 43.75. Damage that occurs includes local decline (depression) and weathering and loose grains (weathering and raveling). Based on Regulation of the Director General of Civil Aviation Number: KP 94 of 2015, in low-damage conditions, maintenance that can be done is to conduct routine inspections and local cleaning. In weathering and raveling damage conditions with medium to high damage levels, but in a small area, local cutting (patching) is required in the area around the damage. In the condition of weathering and raveling damage with medium to high damage levels and large dimensions, the repair carried out is an overlay by carrying out prior maintenance on the existing coating.

Abstract

Gedung ini terletak di Kepulauan Muna, Sulawesi Tenggara, dan berfungsi mengurus administrasi bandara. Karena penambahan pegawai dan kerusakan plafond, gedung sering tergenang air. Penelitian ini bertujuan merencanakan ulang struktur baja gedung . Metode SRPMB digunakan, mengacu pada SNI 1726:2019 tentang gempa, SNI 1729:2020 tentang struktur baja, dan SNI 1727:2020 untuk pembebanan. Software SAP 2000 digunakan untuk mendesain struktur dan pembebanan, serta Autocad 2021 untuk penggambaran hasil. Profil balok menggunakan WF 200 x 100 x 5,5 x 8, profil kolom menggunakan H 350 x 350 x 12 x 19, rafter menggunakan WF 300 x 150 x 6,5 x 9, dan gording menggunakan C 150 x 75 x 20 x 4,5. Biaya pembangunan gedung senilai Rp 1.318.169.000,00.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kasus kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas ambulans sering kali terjadi karena kesalahan atau kelalaian yang disebabkan oleh pengemudi ambulans. Pengemudi ambulans dalam mengemudikan ambulans sangat diperlukan pengetahuan dan keterampilan khusus untuk mengemudi ambulans, meskipun harus cepat tapi tidak melakukan kesalahan yang akan membahayakan keselamatan tim ambulans dan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan safety driving dan kelelahan kerja terhadap kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas pada pengemudi ambulans di wilayah kerja Pusat Krisis dan Kegawatdaruratan Kesehatan Daerah (PK3D) Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi DKI Jakarta Tahun 2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dimana dalam pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dan alat reaction timer dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Dengan populasi sebanyak 68 responden, menggunakan rumus slovin didapatkan sampel minimal 32 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling dengan cara undian maka didapatkan jumlah sampel 40 responden. Analisis dalam penelitian ini secara analisis data univariat dan bivariat. Uji analisis menggunakan Spearman’s rho. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan ada pengaruh pengetahuan safety driving (nilai p = 0,032) dan tidak ada pengaruh kelelahan kerja (nilai p = 0,674) terhadap kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas di wilayah kerja Pusat krisis & Kegawatdaruratan Kesehatan Daerah (PK3D) Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi DKI Jakarta Tahun 2024. Program pelatihan safety driving perlu dilakukan secara rutin setiap 3 tahun sekali dan pelatihan refresh safety driving dilakukan setiap 1 tahun sekali untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan safety driving pengemudi ambulans agar kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas pada pengemudi ambulans dapat dicegah.

Abstract

Batik Rifa’iyah tumbuh dari Komunitas perajin di Desa Kalipucang Wetan, Kabupaten Batang yang menerapkan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam pada motifnya. Batik Rifa’iyah memiliki keunikan dari segi proses pembuatan, visualisasi bentuk serta wujud akulturasi budaya pada motifnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji teknik pembuatan, visualisasi motif batik, dan wujud akulturasi budaya pada motif batik Pelo Ati. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pembeda pada proses pembuatan batik Rifa’iyah yaitu perajin membaca syair kidung berbahasa Jawa yang berisi ajaran Islam ketika menorehkan malam ke selembar kain batik. Kedua, motif Pelo Ati pada dua sisi kain batik (Pagi- Sore) divisualisasikan dari hewan (unggas) dengan bagian tubuh yang terpisah.  Ketiga, wujud akulturasi budaya pada motif batik Rifa’iyah, diantaranya: (1) Motif batik Rifa’iyah mengikuti ajaran Islam bahwa tidak diperbolehkan menggambar makhluk hidup secara utuh. (2) Terdapat percampuran budaya lain pada motif yang mendapat pengaruh dari Eropa, Mataram dan China. Pengaruh dari Eropa tervisualisasikan pada motif renda-renda sebagai ornamen hiasan. Kemudian motif mataram terwujud pada motif Hujan Liris di pinggiran kain. Sedangkan pengaruh dari budaya Cina terwujud pada warna yang digunakan yaitu warna merah.

Abstract

In the development process in the era of globalization, empowerment is a very important form of development. The institutional partner in this service is Kembangkuning Village with Kampung Edukasi as the program implementation partner. The aim of this service is to improve the quality of service from partners who have been engaged in educational tourism. The implementation method is carried out in several stages, namely: situation analysis, program planning, implementation and evaluation. The results of the activities that have been carried out show that the potential for partner development is divided into two aspects, namely educational and industrial-based tourism. Partners have experienced an increase in quality in terms of understanding efforts to provide excellent service to every visitor. The digitization aspect is carried out through the development of a website and also barcodes for each collection in the museum.

Abstract

Opak Abang dance is the identity art of the Kendal Regency community, as a local culture that has historical importance. The form of Opak Abang dance costume design includes, headband, long shirt, kolor pants, songket cloth, white socks, sampur, belt / slepe, ear fan, sash, sunglasses. The research focused on “analyzing opak abang dance as a symbol of the identity of kendal district through costume design with objective aesthetics” using a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction analysis, narrative analysis, and content analysis. Data collection in this study through observation, interviews, documentation and audio-visual materials. The results showed that the design in Opak Abang dance as a Symbol of Identity of Kendal Regency has meaning and is formed from different elements through the balance of design components, thus creating an aesthetic and attractive visual unity with a combination of harmonious patterns, terns, color contrast and texture. The results of costume design research in Opak Abang Dance which is a typical art of Kendal Regency have meaning and are formed from different elements through the balance of component design, which makes an aesthetic and attractive visual unity with a harmonious blend. Innovation in the process of making costumes for Opak Abang Dance Kendal Regency has a relatively simple and unique form. The design is formed as an illustration of the story of heroism and the spread of Islam in Kendal Regency .

Abstract

Background: East Lampung Regency ranks first in Lampung Province and ninth nationally as a sending region for migrant workers (PMI), with 75,311 people. Despite contributing significantly to the migrant workforce, the region faces numerous civil law challenges, including cases of employment termination, passport detention, undocumented workers, and overstays, making it a critical area for addressing migrant worker issues. Methods: This study employed a qualitative approach, analyzing secondary data from government reports, legal records, and migrant worker case studies in East Lampung. Interviews with key stakeholders, such as government officials, legal experts, and migrant worker advocacy groups, were also conducted to understand the root causes and impacts of these civil law cases. Findings: The research found that East Lampung's prominence as a PMI sending region correlates with an increase in civil law cases involving migrant workers. Issues like lack of proper documentation and legal protection are key factors contributing to the high incidence of cases such as termination of employment and passport detention. The study also identified gaps in policy implementation and support systems for migrant workers, both before and after departure. Conclusion: East Lampung Regency's status as a leading PMI sending region is accompanied by significant legal challenges for migrant workers. Strengthening legal frameworks, improving migrant worker documentation, and providing pre-departure training on legal rights are essential for reducing civil law cases and ensuring better protection for workers.  Novelty/Originality of this study: This study is unique in highlighting the specific legal issues faced by migrant workers from East Lampung Regency. It provides a comprehensive analysis of the underlying causes of civil law cases and offers recommendations for policy improvements to enhance the protection and welfare of migrant workers from this region.

Abstract

Background: The utilization of herbs incre­ased for complementary medicine and alterna­tive chro­nic diseases including Diabetes Melli­tus (DM). There are many factors that affect patients with Diabetes Mellitus to utilize herbal clinic. This study aimed to analyze the effects of age, gender, education, occupation, income, marital status, family support, knowledge of herbs, attitude towards herbs, and duration of Dia­betes Mellitus on herbs clinic utilization.Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sec­tional study. This study was conducted in Tawangmangu, Central Java, from January to March 2020. A sample of 200 DM patients aged 15-60 years who were examined at Jamu Research House (rrj) or community health center in Tawangmangu. The sample was col­lected by purposive sampling. The dependent variable was herbs clinic utilization. The inde­pendent variables were sex, age, education, occupation, income, marital status, family sup­port, knowledge of herbs, attitude towards herbs, and duration of DM. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by path analysis run on Stata 13.Results: Herbs clinic utilization was directly increased by positive attitude towards herbs (OR= 5.37; 95% CI= 2.49 to 11.60; p<0.001), duration of DM ≥5 years (OR= 2.02; 95% CI= 1.00 to 4.07; p=0.040), high family income (OR= 2.67; 95% CI= 1.41 to 5.01; p= 0.003), good family support (OR= 1.93; 95% CI= 0.96 to 3.87; p= 0.063), age ≥35 years (OR= 1.45; 95% CI= 0.27 to 7.19; p= 0.666), female (OR= 0.59; 95% CI= 0.31 to 1.12; p= 0.108), and married (OR= 0.64; 95% CI= 0.26 to 1.61; p= 0.343). Herb clinic utilization was indirectly affected by knowledge of herbs, education, and occupation.Conclusion: Herbs clinic utilization is directly increased by positive attitude towards herbs, duration of DM ≥5 years, high family income, good family support, age ≥35 years, female, and married.
