Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan merupakan proses penting dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku siswa, dengan kemampuan membaca menjadi salah satu fondasi utama dalam pembelajaran. Namun, siswa sekolah dasar sering menghadapi berbagai kesulitan membaca, seperti kurangnya daya ingat, kesulitan mengeja, melafalkan huruf, dan mengenali tanda baca. Faktor-faktor ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh minimnya perhatian dari lingkungan rumah, kurangnya bimbingan, dan hambatan fisik seperti kesulitan melihat jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan untuk menganalisis penyebab dan strategi mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada siswa kelas II A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan interaktif seperti penggunaan media visual, motivasi, dan program remedial membaca dapat membantu mengatasi kesulitan membaca siswa. Guru berperan penting dalam memberikan dukungan emosional, memahami karakteristik individu siswa, dan tidak menyalahkan siswa atas kesulitan mereka. Dengan strategi yang tepat, siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca mereka, yang berkontribusi pada keberhasilan akademik dan kepercayaan diri mereka. Kata kunci: Pendidikan, Kemampuan membaca, Kesulitan membaca. Abstract Education is an important process in shaping students' attitudes and behavior, with reading ability being one of the main foundations in learning. However, elementary school students often face various reading difficulties, such as poor memory, difficulty spelling, pronouncing letters, and recognizing punctuation marks. These factors can be influenced by minimal attention from the home environment, lack of guidance, and physical obstacles such as difficulty seeing long distances. This research uses a literature approach to analyze the causes and strategies for overcoming reading difficulties in class II A students. The research results show that interactive approaches such as the use of visual media, motivation, and reading remedial programs can help overcome students' reading difficulties. Teachers play an important role in providing emotional support, understanding students' individual characteristics, and not blaming students for their difficulties. With the right strategies, students can improve their reading skills, which contributes to their academic success and self-confidence. Keywords: Education, reading ability, reading difficulties.

Abstract

Industri kafe di kota besar Indonesia, seperti Jakarta, terus berkembang pesat, memicu persaingan dan inovasi yang beragam. Di tengah tren kafe modern, Uma Oma Cafe hadir dengan konsep nostalgia, menghadirkan suasana akrab ala rumah nenek yang menarik perhatian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi khalayak dan strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh Uma Oma Cafe. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali pandangan dan pengalaman konsumen melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis konten dari media sosial dan materi promosi kafe. Konsep persepsi dari Deddy Mulyana, yang mencakup persepsi objek dan sosial, digunakan untuk memahami bagaimana khalayak melihat Uma Oma Cafe dari berbagai aspek. Selain itu, konsep Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) diaplikasikan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana strategi pemasaran yang terpadu dan konsisten mampu membangun brand awareness dan loyalitas pelanggan. Teori Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation (FIRO) juga digunakan untuk menilai bagaimana hubungan interpersonal yang tercipta melalui interaksi pelanggan dengan kafe memengaruhi persepsi mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Uma Oma Cafe berhasil menciptakan persepsi positif di kalangan pelanggannya melalui penerapan strategi komunikasi yang konsisten dan terpadu. Kafe ini mampu memanfaatkan berbagai saluran komunikasi, baik online maupun offline, untuk menyampaikan pesan yang kohesif dan relevan bagi audiens targetnya. Selain itu, interaksi yang inklusif dan personal antara kafe dan pelanggan berperan signifikan dalam membangun loyalitas dan kepuasan pelanggan. Kesimpulannya, Uma Oma Cafe telah berhasil mengintegrasikan strategi komunikasi pemasaran dengan baik dengan mengusung konsep yang unik berbeda dengan yang lain, yang tidak hanya memperkuat citra merek namun juga membentuk hubungan yang erat dengan pelanggannya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemberitaan skandal korupsi Harvey Moeis dikemas di portal media Detik.com dan Kompas.com. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif dengan menggunakan kerangka analisis model Robert N. Entman. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dimana peneliti mengumpulkan seluruh berita yang ada di portal media Detik.com dan Kompas.com berdasarkan kurun waktu tertentu. Dari hasil pemeriksaan tersebut, portal Detik.com memperlihatkan gaya hidup dan gaya hidup mewah para tersangka, serta perilaku tidak etis para tersangka yakni Harvey Moeis dan Helena Lim. Sementara itu, Kompas.com lebih menyoroti dampak buruk ekonomi dan lingkungan akibat korupsi tersebut dengan menyoroti bahwa negara tidak memantau dengan baik aktivitas penambangan ilegal dan tidak ramah lingkungan serta Komunikasi politik mencakup lebih dari sekadar penyebaran informasi, itu juga mencakup dinamika kekuasaan, perebutan sumber daya, dan efeknya terhadap kebijakan dan opini publik. Untuk meningkatkan penegakan hukum, diperlukan upaya untuk memastikan bahwa komunikasi politik dilakukan dengan transparan dan akuntabilitas serta difokuskan pada kepentingan publik, bukan hanya kepentingan individu atau kelompok tertentu.

Abstract

This journal studies Project Based Learning (PjBL) as one of the innovative learning strategies that use projects or activities as a means of learning to improve students' learning motivation, learning outcomes, knowledge, and skills. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with literature studies, namely by collecting and analyzing data from various scientific journals, articles, and relevant literature that discuss PjBL, active learning strategies, student learning motivation, and achievement of learning outcomes at various levels of education, especially at the elementary school level. The results of the study show that the implementation of PjBL has proven to be effective in increasing students' learning motivation because this approach emphasizes active involvement, collaboration, a sense of responsibility, and the development of students' creativity during the learning process. More than that, this strategy allows students to learn through hands-on experience and real-world problem-solving, thus making the learning process more contextual, fun, and meaningful. In addition to increasing motivation, PjBL also contributes significantly to improving learning outcomes, because students understand the material more easily when it is associated with daily life. These findings affirm the importance of implementing project-based learning strategies as an alternative learning model relevant to the needs of the 21st century, emphasizing critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity (4C) skills. Therefore, this study recommends that teachers and educators integrate the PjBL approach systematically and structurally in learning planning and in the curriculum to improve the quality of education, student involvement, and learning outcomes in a comprehensive, effective, and sustainable manner.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran kooperatif adalah rangkaian kegiatan belajar siswa dalam kelompok tertentu untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang dirumuskan. Pembelajaran kooperatif ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran yang berdasarkan paham konstruktivis. Dalam pembelajaran kooperatif diterapkan strategi belajar dengan sejumlah siswa sebagai anggota kelompok kecil yang tingkat kemampuannya berbeda. Namun di zaman yang sudah meningkat, peserta didik sudah mulai mengalami adanya penurunan dalam minat belajar dikarenakan pendidik yang masih sulit menerapkan metode-metode pembelajaran didalam kelas. Maka dari itu, sangat diperlukan adanya management dalam pembentukan kelompok belajar dengan menggunakan metode cooperative learning untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode cooperative learning. Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) strategies to improve students' critical thinking skills. The research method used was a literature review analyzing various relevant sources. The results indicate that PBL can facilitate students in identifying problems, analyzing information, formulating solutions, and logically evaluating their thinking. Therefore, PBL can be used as an effective learning strategy in developing students' critical thinking skills at various levels of education.PBL is a learning approach that uses real-world problems as a context for students to learn critical thinking, solve problems, and acquire essential knowledge and concepts from the subject matter. This model was first developed in 1969 at McMaster University School of Medicine, Canada, to address health issues and was later adapted for general education to improve student learning outcomes. Through PBL, students are encouraged to learn independently, seek relevant information, and collaborate with peers to identify and solve learning problems. This approach trains students in analysis, creativity, and independence, while also increasing motivation for discussion and the contribution of ideas. Thus, PBL is significantly more effective than conventional learning in training students to think critically and solve problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the pedagogic competence of classroom teachers in planning learning materials for grade 6 students of SDN Kutajaya 2. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture number 62 of 2013 concerning Educational Standards, teachers and schools have an important role in planning or preparing learning materials to be used in learning as a medium so that the material taught is conveyed properly. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that uses observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. This research involved the Principal, 3 sixth-grade homeroom teachers, and subject one teachers. The results of the study showed that sixth grade teachers were ready to create learning materials. Teachers' skills and creativity, collaboration between teachers, students and parents, learning elements, and adequate facilities and infrastructure are supporting components that affect planning subject matter.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers' strategies in instilling character education values in elementary school students based on various studies and references. Character education serves as a crucial foundation in shaping students' morals and attitudes, particularly at the elementary education level. Various studies reveal that the strategies implemented include role modeling, integrating character values into the learning process, case discussion methods, and reinforcement through constructive rewards or disciplinary actions. Furthermore, collaboration between teachers, parents, and the school environment significantly supports the success of character education implementation. This study provides insights that the success of character education requires a holistic approach involving all stakeholders to create a conducive learning ecosystem for students' character development.

Limited understanding of the Powton Application used for presentations and making videos is the reason Nusa Mandiri University carried out Community Service in the form of Utilizing the Powton Application for presentation training and making videos at PT. Abstract

The 21st-century education paradigm demands that students master critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity skills (4C), which align with the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach. However, the implementation of STEM education in Indonesia still faces challenges such as low student motivation, engagement, and problem-solving abilities. This study aims to examine the potential of utilizing Game-Based Learning (GBL) with adaptive gamification as an innovative strategy to overcome these obstacles. A qualitative research method was employed through a literature study approach, drawing data from national and international journal articles, conference proceedings, and academic books published within the last 5–10 years. Data were collected through academic database searches (Scopus, Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Sinta) and analyzed using content analysis techniques involving reduction, categorization, and synthesis of findings. The results indicate that GBL can enhance students’ intrinsic motivation, engagement, and academic performance in STEM learning, particularly when designed with authentic, adaptive, and reflective elements. The identified advantages include increased motivation, personalized learning, and improved problem-solving skills, whereas the limitations involve infrastructural readiness, teacher competence, and potential design-related distractions.
