Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pendekatan open-ended dan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dikelas VII MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis quasi eksperimen. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pendekatan open-ended dan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) maka H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dari pendekatan open-ended dan pendekatan kontekstual terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, namun menolak hipotesis nol (H0) menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh. ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine whether there is an influence of the open-ended approach and the contextual approach on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students in class VII MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. This study is a quantitative study of the quasi-experimental type. Data processing was carried out using the SPSS application. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between the open-ended approach and the contextual approach on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students at MTs Amaliyah Sunggal. This is indicated by the sig. value. (2-tailed) <0.05 (0.000 <0.05) then H0 is rejected. The results of this study indicate that the application of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) shows that there is an influence of the open-ended approach and the contextual approach on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, but rejecting the null hypothesis (H0) indicates that there is no influence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) Terhadap hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas XI SMK Tritech Informatika Medan. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi experiment (eksperimen semu). Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Tritech Informatika Medan dengan jumlah sampel 27 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah teknik acak menggunakan aplikasi “Spin The Wheel”. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji “t” yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung = 5.2257 dan ttabel= 2.058. Terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji “t” yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung = 12.8141 dan ttabel= 2.009. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) learning model on learning outcomes and mathematics learning motivation for class XI students at Tritech Informatics Vocational School, Medan. The research methodology uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The research population was class XI students at Tritech Informatics Vocational School in Medan with a sample size of 27 students. The sampling technique is a random technique using the "Spin the Wheel" application. Data collection techniques are by questionnaire and tests. The results of the research reveal that there is an influence between the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This is proven by the results of hypothesis testing with the "t" test which shows that the calculated t value = 5.2257 and t table = 2.058. There is an influence between the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students' mathematics learning motivation. This is proven by the results of hypothesis testing with the "t" test which shows that the tcount = 12.8141 and ttable = 2.009.

Abstract

This article was prepared with the aim of analyzing the problems that occur in real analysis lectures experienced by undergraduate mathematics or mathematics education students. This research is a literature study research with the method used, namely Systematic Review (SR) or generally called Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which focuses on real analytical problems, which begins by identifying and evaluating literature that is relevant to the problem being discussed. Data analysis was carried out using an interactive model which uses 4 steps in the analysis stages, namely: 1) Data collection, 2) Data condensation, 3) Data presentation and 4) Data verification (conclusion). This research identified 5 previous articles. The problems that exist in the real analysis lectures of the five are: students still don't understand the purpose and purpose of the questions, so they can't solve the questions well and the factor that makes them not understand is because they don't understand the pre-requisite material such as sets, number systems and others. Another problem is that they cannot understand and use mathematical language, and they also do not understand mathematical notation. To overcome this problem, the lecturer must know whether the students have understood the pre-requisite material for real analysis or not, because if students do not understand it, in the future it will definitely be difficult for them to understand the material or prove theorems and so on. Apart from that, you can apply lesson study and give students an explanation first regarding the material being studied, then practice.

Abstract

Real analysis is an important subject in college level mathematics education. The quality of real analysis lectures can influence students' understanding of basic concepts in advanced mathematics. This literature study aims to develop a model that can improve the quality of real analysis lectures through a review of various related literature sources. The method used in this study is a literature review, where various literature sources relevant to the research topic are analyzed thoroughly. The results of the analysis show that efforts that can be made to improve the quality of real analysis lectures include applying the lesson study method, developing relevant and quality textbooks, as well as providing support from family and social circles for students. The conclusion of this study confirms that the application of lesson study in the context of real analysis lectures can provide significant benefits in improving the quality of learning. Apart from that, developing textbooks that suit student needs is also an important step in increasing the effectiveness of lectures. Support from family and social environment also plays a crucial role in creating a conducive learning environment for students.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a literature review related to the types of errors in mathematical proofs. The research method used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). From the search results on Google Scholar, a total of 24 articles were found. These were then filtered according to specified criteria, which included only journal articles and excluded proceedings, theses, and dissertations. Articles from the period between 2017 and 2024 were considered, resulting in 22 articles after exclusion. Further screening was done based on the accreditation level of the journals (1-3) and reading the abstracts to assess their relevance to the research topic, which yielded 9 articles suitable for this study. The findings of this research indicate five main categories of errors: conceptual errors, logical errors, procedural errors, representation errors, and communication errors

Abstract

Mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika kerap mengalami berbagai kesulitan belajar pada mata kuliah dasar hingga lanjutan, yang berdampak pada penguasaan konsep dan kesiapan mereka sebagai calon pendidik. Kajian ini bertujuan memetakan bentuk kesulitan belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika, faktor penyebabnya, serta implikasinya bagi praktik pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi melalui pendekatan systematic literature review. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review terhadap artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi dan prosiding relevan yang diindeks di Google Scholar dan Garuda, dengan kata kunci “kesulitan belajar”, “mahasiswa pendidikan matematika”, dan “analisis real/kalkulus/aljabar”, dalam rentang tahun 2015–2024. Setelah proses seleksi berbasis kriteria inklusi–eksklusi (relevansi topik, jenjang subjek, dan kelengkapan laporan metodologis), diperoleh 10 artikel yang dianalisis secara mendalam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan utama muncul pada pemahaman konsep (limit, analisis real, aljabar, integral), penalaran dan pembuktian, kemampuan numerasi, serta pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran, yang diperkuat oleh faktor psikologis (motivasi dan kepercayaan diri) dan lingkungan belajar (keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan pembelajaran berbasis konsep, pelatihan penalaran dan pembuktian, pengembangan literasi numerasi, serta integrasi teknologi dan dukungan psikososial secara terencana dalam kurikulum Pendidikan Matematika

Abstract

Mata kuliah Analisis Real menempatkan pembuktian matematis sebagai inti pembelajaran dan menuntut penalaran deduktif yang terstruktur. Namun demikian, kajian sistematis yang secara khusus memetakan jenis penalaran matematis mahasiswa dan keterkaitannya dengan konstruksi bukti pada perkuliahan Analisis Real masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan jenis penalaran matematis mahasiswa dalam konteks Analisis Real melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Penelusuran literatur dilakukan pada basis data Google Scholar dan Garuda dengan rentang publikasi 2019–2024, mengikuti pedoman PRISMA 2020. Dari 267 artikel yang teridentifikasi, sebanyak 51 studi memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan kualitas. Analisis data menggunakan skema klasifikasi multi-label, sehingga satu studi dapat merepresentasikan lebih dari satu jenis penalaran matematis. Hasil pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa penalaran induktif (46 kemunculan) dan deduktif (44 kemunculan) lebih dominan dibandingkan penalaran generalisasi (28 kemunculan) dan konstruksi bukti matematis (25 kemunculan). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penelitian mahasiswa dalam konteks Analisis Real cenderung menekankan penalaran umum, sementara konstruksi bukti matematis masih relatif kurang diposisikan sebagai objek kajian eksplisit. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi konseptual melalui pemetaan sistematis berbasis multi-label yang menegaskan konstruksi bukti sebagai area riset yang perlu diperdalam dalam pendidikan matematika perguruan tinggi, khususnya pada perkuliahan Analisis Real.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan pembuktian matematis, profil kemampuan pembuktian/argumentasi, kesulitan pembuktian, serta intervensi pembelajaran yang terkait langsung dengan pembuktian pada mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan pencarian melalui Google Scholar, Garuda, ERIC, dan Semantic Scholar pada rentang publikasi 2020–2025 (Bahasa Indonesia) dan pelaporan mengikuti prinsip PRISMA 2020. Kajian ini mensintesis 15 artikel terpilih. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan kesulitan yang dominan meliputi kesalahan membaca/menafsirkan soal, penalaran/asumsi yang tidak tepat, pemilihan alur pembuktian, serta ketidaktelitian dalam langkah pembuktian, termasuk temuan kesalahan pemahaman dan transformasi pada topik Analisis Real. Intervensi seperti penggunaan/pengembangan media berbantuan GeoGebra dilaporkan membantu dukungan representasi/visualisasi dan konstruksi bukti pada topik tertentu, tetapi efektivitasnya tetap memerlukan scaffolding pembuktian yang eksplisit. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan kemampuan pembuktian matematis mahasiswa perlu menggabungkan penguatan konsep prasyarat, latihan pembuktian bertahap berbasis indikator, dan dukungan media pembelajaran yang relevan.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to empower Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) teachers in enhancing their skills to design deep learning through innovative training. The program was conducted at MTs Al-Fauzi and involved 20 teachers as participants. Initial analysis revealed that most teachers were in the medium (45%) and low (35%) categories, while only 20% achieved the high category. This indicated that teachers faced challenges in integrating higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), problem-solving, and project-based learning into their lesson plans. After the training, a significant shift occurred: the low category decreased to 10%, the medium category dropped to 30%, and the high category increased to 60%. These results demonstrate that innovative training through hands-on practice, collaborative discussion, and lesson design simulation was effective in improving teachers’ skills. However, the program had several limitations, including limited training duration, short-term evaluation, and a relatively small number of participants. Therefore, continuous mentoring and follow-up activities are recommended to ensure that the improved skills are consistently applied in daily classroom practices.

Abstract

Students’ mathematical problem-solving skills in Indonesia are still not optimal, so it is necessary to implement a learning model that can train structured thinking and increase student engagement. This study aims to determine the effect and magnitude of the effect of the Mind Mapping-based Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) cooperative learning model on the mathematical problem-solving skills of seventh-grade MTs students in a city in Medan  regarding algebra material. This is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class with 28 students and a control class with 28 students. The instrument used was a mathematical problem-solving ability test. Data analysis employed the t-test. Results from the independent samples t-test indicated p < 0.001 < 0.05, thus rejecting H₀. This improvement was indicated by an N-Gain value of 0.36, classified as moderate, and a coefficient of determination R² = 0.372, meaning that students’ mathematical problem-solving skills were influenced by the implementation of this learning model. Thus, the Mind Mapping-based TAPPS model can serve as an alternative approach to mathematics instruction to enhance students’ mathematical problem-solving skills.
