Abstract

This study aims to describe the education system and the implementation of the education system like what is in the Faeyza Ashabul Jannah institution (which is located at Limau Mungkur Street, Bangun Rejo Village, Tanjung Morawa District.) This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data used in this study is the education system of the elderly. The primary data source was obtained from the Head of the Feyza Ashabul Jannah Foundation, while the secondary data source came from Ustazah and the elderly at the Faeyza Ashabul Jannah Institute. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. At the same time, data analysis is in the form of data reduction, data presentation, verification, or conclusion. The results of the study show that the education system for the elderly community in the Faeyza Ashabul Jannah institution is already running well in accordance with the composition of the components arranged synergistically, which work together with each other and achieve good learning and implementation forms that work well The education system for the elderly community is where the elderly experience changes for the better while participating in learning at the institution. From the data, it can be seen that the education system can run well if the education system is interconnected in a coherent manner and learning can not only be attended by children or adolescents, but the elderly also have the right to education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perception of Islamic Religious Education students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra towards the use of Artificial Intelligence as a learning resource. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological type. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model combined with ATLAS.ti software. The results of this study indicate that; 1) The information provided by Artificial Intelligence is not completely accurate because there are deficiencies in the depth of explanation and the references listed are not completely valid; 2) AI provides ease of access and use in the learning process; 3) The use of AI is considered efficient in terms of time and cost; and 4) Student ethics in using Artificial Intelligence as a learning resource is not yet entirely good, although it shows a positive direction and growing ethical awareness. This study suggests that in the future, Artificial Intelligence developers need to connect Artificial Intelligence systems with scientific repositories, and that their use must be accompanied by strengthening digital literacy and critical attitudes from users.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas permasalahan merosotnya akhlak masyarakat sekitar serta rendahnya minat remaja terhadap pendidikan agama Islam, di mana sekitar 62% remaja di lokasi penelitian kurang tertarik pada pendidikan agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam melalui Majelis Sholawat Al-Banjari. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dengan 15 partisipan, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa majelis ini menanamkan nilai akidah, ibadah, dan akhlak melalui berbagai kegiatan, seperti pembacaan sholawat Jibril sebanyak 5000 kali sehari, kajian kitab klasik, serta pembinaan akhlak berbasis hadis. Perubahan perilaku jamaah terlihat dari peningkatan frekuensi ibadah harian hingga 30% dan meningkatnya keterlibatan remaja dalam kegiatan keagamaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami peran majelis sholawat dalam memperdalam ilmu agama, membentuk akhlak, dan mempererat silaturrahim. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis tradisi keagamaan dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Islam di masyarakat. Sebagai implikasi praktis, penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar majelis-majelis lain mengadopsi kajian kitab klasik sebagai sumber pembelajaran guna meningkatkan pemahaman agama dan keterlibatan generasi muda dalam pendidikan Islam

Abstract

Islamic education is not only obtained through formal learning. However, Islamic education can be found in cultural practices and traditions that have Islamic values. The Alas tribe is the majority tribe inhabiting Southeast Aceh Regency which has cultural practices and traditions in accordance with Islamic law. The Alas tribe has a Mesekat dance that contains Islamic educational values. However, the Mesekat dance is rarely recognized by the wider community, even the most sad Mesekat dance is not known by some Alas tribe communities themselves. This study aims to introduce Mesekat dance to the wider community and reveal the value of Islamic education contained in the Mesekat dance of the Alas tribe so that it can be an input in Islamic education. This study uses qualitative methods with an ethnographic approach. In collecting data, researchers conduct interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation. To analyze the data using the opinions of Miles and Huberman. The value of creed, the value of worship, moral values, and social values known as the value of Islamic education are found in the Mesekat Tari Suku Alas, these values are obtained through movements and verses sung by dancers. There is a distinctive value in Islamic education so the Mesekat dance must be preserved and developed to be an input material for Islamic education and useful for the world of education in the future.

Abstract

This research was conducted to comprehensively describe and delve into the strategies used by Islamic Education (SKI) teachers to foster a love of reading among students at MTs Al-Ikhlas Sait Buntu using a qualitative descriptive approach with a naturalistic technique. The results of the study revealed that SKI teachers employ several strategies to encourage students to develop a love of reading, such as repeated reading, memorization, and sharing experiences. In the repeated reading strategy, teachers engage students in taking turns to read, allowing other students to focus on the presented text. In the memorization strategy, students are included collectively to ensure that all students can participate effectively in the learning process, while the sharing experiences strategy involves teachers narrating real-life situations to enhance students' curiosity. This, in turn, motivates students to read and seek knowledge continuously. The contribution of this research lies in providing information about effective strategies to cultivate an interest in reading among students in secondary education. The novelty of this research lies in combining various learning strategies into a single activity, enabling students to experience more diverse forms of learning. The utilization of multiple creative teaching strategies can enhance students' enthusiasm for reading.

Abstract

General background: Women’s empowerment through Islamic education is essential for strengthening the capacities of female students in formal schooling environments. Specific background: Despite expanded educational access, female students still face barriers such as gender bias, limited participation, and challenges related to digital literacy. Knowledge gap: Previous studies have mainly focused on adult women’s organizations or female Islamic boarding schools, leaving limited research on student-based Islamic organizations as agents of empowerment. Aims: This study analyzes the role of the Muhammadiyah Students Association in empowering female students through Islamic education at SMA Muhammadiyah 02 Medan. Results: The findings show that the organization implements strategic programs including Islamic study sessions for female students, discussion forums, skills workshops, and collaborative religious studies that enhance spiritual, intellectual, social, and leadership capacities. The organization also serves as a platform for gender equality and Islamic character building, although challenges persist such as low active participation, limited resources, and digital vulnerabilities. Novelty: This study offers a new perspective by examining a high school student organization that integrates religious values, leadership development, and digital literacy into its empowerment activities. Implications: The results highlight the strategic role of student organizations in shaping empowered, knowledgeable, and adaptable young Muslim women. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Tafsir Tematik Manajemen Pendidikan Islam : Leadership Dan Administrasi Pendidikan Dalam Perspektif Al-quran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kepustakaan (library research). Dalam pengumpulan data digunakan metode tematik (maudu’iy), Adapun hasil Penelitian adalah Kepemimpinan Islam harus dilandasi ajaran Alquran dan Sunnah, yang acuan utamanya adalah meneladani Rasulullah saw, dan khulafaurrasyidin. Kepemimpinan yang di bangun oleh Rasulullah saw, berlandaskan pada dasar-dasar yang kokoh yang pada prinsipnya untuk menegakkan kalimah Allah Swt. Administrasi pendidikan perspektif ilmu pendidikan Islam memiliki peran yang penting dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan di sekolah dan madrasah yang berlandaskan nilai keislaman yang bersumber kepada Alquran dan hadits beserta ditunjang oleh pendapat para pemikir pendidikan Islam. Perspektif Ilmu Pendidikan Islam adalah tanggung jawab yang Allah berikan kepada setiap manusia yaitu berupa jiwa kepemimpinan yang mampu mengantarkan kepada tujuan yang hendak dicapai. Manusia Allah ciptakan sebagai khalifah di muka bumi. Diantara tugas khalifah adalah memberdayakan seluruh potensi manusia dan sumber daya alam untuk kemakmuran dan kesejahteraan seluruh makhluk di muka bumi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran etika belajar dalam kitab Ta’lim al-Muta’allim karya Imam al-Zarnuji terhadap pembinaan akhlak siswa di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Fokus kajian adalah internalisasi nilai adab seperti ketulusan niat, penghormatan terhadap guru, kesungguhan, kesederhanaan, dan tanggung jawab sebagai dasar pembentukan karakter religius dan moral. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan (library research), menganalisis literatur primer dan sekunder terkait konsep pendidikan akhlak dan etika belajar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi adab melalui pembiasaan, mentoring karakter, penguatan budaya sekolah, dan revitalisasi hubungan guru–murid efektif meningkatkan disiplin, integritas, dan kontrol diri siswa. Nilai-nilai Ta’lim al-Muta’allim terbukti relevan menghadapi tantangan era digital, seperti budaya instan, plagiarisme, dan kecanduan teknologi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa etika belajar berbasis turats bukan hanya memfasilitasi pencapaian akademik, tetapi juga menjadi landasan strategis dalam membangun akhlak siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif merupakan pendekatan pendidikan yang menekankan keadilan, kesetaraan, dan penghormatan terhadap keberagaman peserta didik. Namun, dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan kecenderungan diskriminatif yang belum sejalan dengan nilai-nilai keislaman. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep pendidikan inklusif dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an dengan menekankan nilai keadilan dan kesetaraan manusia sebagai landasan normatif pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Sumber data utama berupa ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan keadilan dan kesetaraan, didukung oleh kitab tafsir klasik dan kontemporer serta literatur ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur’an secara tegas menegaskan prinsip keadilan, kesetaraan, dan penghormatan terhadap martabat manusia tanpa membedakan latar belakang fisik, sosial, maupun budaya. Nilai-nilai tersebut relevan sebagai dasar pengembangan pendidikan inklusif yang humanis dan nondiskriminatif. Dengan demikian, pendidikan inklusif dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an merupakan perwujudan ajaran Islam yang berorientasi pada kemaslahatan dan keadilan bagi seluruh manusia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya stres dan depresi mahasiswa UIN Sumatera Utara akibat tekanan akademik, sosial, dan rendahnya dukungan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi penyebab stres serta menganalisis peran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai strategi preventif dan kuratif. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap mahasiswa berbagai fakultas. Hasil menunjukkan tekanan akademik, sosial, dan ketidakseimbangan spiritual menjadi faktor utama stres. Nilai-nilai Islam dalam PAI seperti sabar, tawakal, dan syukur membantu mahasiswa mencapai ketenangan batin, terutama bagi yang aktif dalam kegiatan keagamaan. Kesimpulannya, PAI berperan penting membentuk ketahanan mental dan spiritual mahasiswa dalam mencegah dan mengatasi stres serta depresi.
