Abstract

This study discusses the role of the Private Madrasah Aliyah (MAS) YPI Batang Kuis in instilling religious moderation in students as an effort to form a tolerant, inclusive, and balanced character in understanding Islamic teachings. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study method, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that religious moderation in this madrasa is implemented through the integration of Wasathiyah Islamic values ??in the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and the role models of teachers and educators. Programs such as interfaith discussions, Islamic studies, and social actions are effective means of building moderate attitudes among students. This study also reveals several challenges in the implementation of religious moderation, such as the influence of the social environment which is still exclusively oriented and the limited teaching materials that are in accordance with the principles of moderation. Therefore, synergy is needed between madrasas, the government, and the community in strengthening religious moderation education through increasing teacher capacity, developing a more contextual curriculum, and providing adequate learning resources. With these steps, MAS YPI Batang Kuis is expected to continue to contribute to forming a generation that has an inclusive religious understanding and is able to live side by side harmoniously in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

Penelitianinimerupakanjenispenelitiankuantitatifdenganpre testpost testcontrol design group. Penelitianinimenggunakantekhnikpengambilansampeldengan total sampling yaknidenganmelibatkanseluruhpesertadidikdi RA An-Namir Rantauprapat yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Sampel dibagimenjadi dua kelompokyaitu 15 siswakelas control dan 15 siswakelaseksperimen. Peningkatankemampuanberhitung pada anakkelaskontrol pada tema Binatang yang tidakdiberikanperlakuan media congkakdiperolehnilai rata-rata pre testsebesar 10,06 dan nilai rata-rata pre testsebesar 16,26. Peningkatankemampuanberhitunganakkelaseksperimen pada tema Binatang denganmenggunakan media congkakdiperolehbilai rata-rata pre testsebesar 10,2 dan nilai rata-rata post testsebesar 18,93. Uji pengaruhnilaipost testkelas control dan kelaseksperimendiperoleh t-hitung = 4,994 sedangkan t-tabel = 2,048 atau t-hitung ≤ t-tabel (4,994 ≥2,048) sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolakartinyaterdpatpengaruh media congkakterhadappeningkatankemampuanberhitung pada anak RA An-Namir Rantauprapat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh bermain seni kriya terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak di PAUD Ikhlas Sidorukun Urung Kompas. Seni kriya sebagai salah satu bentuk aktivitas kreatif diyakini mampu merangsang kemampuan berpikir, memecahkan masalah, dan meningkatkan daya konsentrasi pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi-experiment). Subjek penelitian adalah anak-anak kelompok usia 4-6 tahun di PAUD Ikhlas Sidorukun Urung Kompas, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi perkembangan kognitif berdasarkan indikator-indikator yang ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak yang mengikuti aktivitas seni kriya mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan kognitif dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang tidak mengikuti aktivitas tersebut. Aktivitas seni kriya, seperti membuat karya dari kertas, kain, dan bahan alam, terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir logis, kreativitas, dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa bermain seni kriya memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, disarankan kepada pendidik PAUD untuk mengintegrasikan seni kriya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sehari-hari sebagai salah satu metode stimulasi perkembangan anak.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. In this digital era, digital literacy has become an essential competence for both teachers and students to adapt to technological developments and face global challenges. Digital literacy is not only limited to the ability to operate digital devices but also involves critical thinking skills in selecting information, ethical behavior in digital interactions, and the ability to use technology to support meaningful and effective learning. This study aims to examine various literature sources related to the development of digital literacy among teachers and students. Through a literature review method, this research analyzes concepts, roles, and strategies for developing digital literacy in education. The findings indicate that digital literacy plays a crucial role in improving teachers' professional competence and preparing students with 21st-century skills, namely Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication (4C). However, digital literacy levels among teachers and students are still varied, influenced by factors such as limited access, lack of training, and low awareness of its importance. Therefore, the development of digital literacy must be intensified to create adaptive, productive, and technology-relevant learning environments.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan generasi Muslim yang seimbang antara aspek duniawi dan ukhrawi. Namun, globalisasi, kemajuan teknologi, dan perubahan gaya hidup modern membawa tantangan terhadap internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh dinamika kehidupan modern terhadap revitalisasi nilai pendidikan Islam dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode PLS-SEM. Data diperoleh dari studi dokumentasi literatur relevan, dianalisis untuk menguji hubungan kausal antara dinamika kehidupan modern dengan revitalisasi nilai pendidikan Islam (integrasi nilai dalam kurikulum, inovasi metode pembelajaran, penguatan karakter peserta didik). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan koefisien jalur 0,681 dan R-square 0,464. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya pendidikan Islam bertransformasi adaptif dengan mengintegrasikan nilai Islam dalam kurikulum dan metode pembelajaran inovatif serta penguatan karakter sesuai konteks zaman. Penelitian merekomendasikan pendekatan holistik dan kolaboratif antara keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat agar pendidikan Islam dapat menjawab tantangan modern tanpa kehilangan esensinya sebagai sumber moral dan spiritual generasi masa depan.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique, where all students in the class are included as samples. The experimental class consisting of 19 students was taught using the Takrir Method, while the control class consisting of 19 students was taught using the Sima'i Method. The instrument used in this study was an oral test with 16 questions designed to measure students' memorization abilities for short surahs. Data analysis was carried out using a paired t-test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the hypothesis testing showed that the t-count value was greater than the t-table (4.546> 1.696). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, which means that there is a significant effect of the use of the Takrir Method on strengthening the memorization of the Qur'an in grade IV students at MIS Mamba'ul Ulum Lingga Tiga. In conclusion, this study proves that the Takrir Method is effective in improving memorization of the Qur'an in short surahs, which can be used as a consideration in the Tahfizh teaching method in Islamic schools. This finding has important implications in the development of Islamic education curriculum, especially in the field of Tahfizh Al-Qur'an

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) in the world of education opens up new opportunities as well as challenges, especially for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers who must balance technological innovation with Islamic values. This study aims to analyze PAI teachers' perceptions of the implementation of AI in learning, with a focus on AI literacy, training needs, perceptual barriers, and attitudes towards AI. This study uses a quantitative approach with the PLS-SEM method and involves 80 PAI teachers in Labuhanbatu through a purposive sampling technique. The results show that AI literacy has a positive effect on training needs, which then has a significant impact on positive attitudes towards AI. Conversely, perceptual barriers have a negative impact on these attitudes. There is also an indirect effect between AI literacy and teacher attitudes through the mediation of training needs. This study emphasizes the importance of increasing AI literacy and relevant training to support the readiness of PAI teachers in utilizing AI effectively and in accordance with Islamic values

Abstract

Generasi Alpha, yang lahir sejak tahun 2010 ke atas, tumbuh dalam era digital dengan kemampuan teknologi yang tinggi dan gaya belajar visual-interaktif. Mereka memiliki kecepatan dalam mengakses informasi, namun juga menghadapi tantangan seperti rentang perhatian yang pendek dan risiko paparan konten digital tanpa bimbingan moral. Literasi Islam pada generasi ini menjadi perhatian utama karena mudah terpapar konten yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam, sementara media pembelajaran Islam berbasis teknologi masih sangat terbatas. Kurangnya pendampingan dari orang tua dan keterbatasan kompetensi guru dalam penggunaan teknologi semakin memperburuk kondisi ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena rendahnya literasi Islam di kalangan Generasi Alpha serta merancang model pendidikan Islam berbasis teknologi yang efektif dan relevan dengan karakteristik mereka. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi pada guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, orang tua, dan siswa di tingkat Sekolah Dasar dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlunya pengembangan media pembelajaran digital interaktif, peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam teknologi, serta sinergi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan lingkungan sosial digital untuk meningkatkan literasi Islam secara efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kurikulum Pendidikan Islam berbasis nilai moderasi beragama terhadap implementasi nilai moderasi beragama di lembaga pendidikan formal. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah kurikulum tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap internalisasi nilai moderasi seperti toleransi, antikekerasan, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman di sekolah. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi, Provinsi Sumatera Utara pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel berjumlah 66 siswa kelas 10 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dan dibagi dalam kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen berupa angket skala Likert digunakan untuk mengukur implementasi nilai moderasi yang meliputi lima indikator: integrasi nilai toleransi, sikap siswa, peran guru, kebijakan sekolah, dan kegiatan sekolah. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum berbasis nilai moderasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan sikap dan perilaku moderat siswa. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya pengembangan kurikulum yang menjunjung kebhinekaan dan perdamaian guna membentuk generasi inklusif dan harmonis di tengah masyarakat multikultural.
