Abstract

This study utilized a case study of non-permanent and permanent teachers at SMKN 1 Driyorejo. This study employed a qualitative approach. Needs analysis, vacancy announcements, application acceptance, selection, and signing of employment contracts were all part of the open and transparent recruitment process for non-permanent teachers. With the Teacher and Lecturer Law and the Regional Government Law, the government is responsible for the welfare of non-permanent teachers; however, further policies are needed, such as salary guarantees, training, employment contracts, legal protection, certification, budgets, and welfare benefits. The principal of SMKN 1 Driyorejo implemented a good leadership style; there was no distinction between non-permanent and permanent teachers; provided motivation, training, seminars, and performance evaluations; and ensured that non-permanent teachers had official appointment letters and information on civil servant recruitment. Issues faced by non-permanent teachers, such as short-term employment contracts and compensation, can be overcome to improve the welfare of non-permanent teachers.

Abstract

Individual learning in students is considered only partially optimal in supporting current digital competencies. To fulfill digital behavioral competencies, team leadership interventions are required through various learning activities undertaken by students. This study aims to analyze the influence of individual learning on students' development of digital behavior mediated by team leadership. Quantitative research methods with AMOS Structure Equation Model (SEM) analysis were carried out with the following stages: validity and reliability testing; SEM model suitability testing to determine the Goodness of Fit model by looking at the Chi-Square, Probability, RMSEA, GFI, AGFI, CMIN/DF, TLI, CFI, and NFI values; research hypothesis testing. The research sample consisted of 301 respondents who were taken randomly from students of Surabaya State University who were implementing the emancipated learning program. This study showed that individual learning affected students' digital behavior. Meanwhile, the mediating role of team leadership on the influence of individual learning on digital behavior consists of dimensions: opportunity to develop (not mediating), transparency (mediating), and creativity (not mediating). The implication of this research shows that the dimensions of transparency that shape students' digital behavior are openness in the learning process, transparent access to information, honest assessment, and open team communication.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance students’ ability to develop independent career plans by applying the mind mapping technique through the Coggle application. The program employed a coaching approach utilizing the IGROW model, which consists of five key components: Intention, Goal, Reality, Options, and Will/Way Forward. The participants of this training were students from SMK GIKI 1. To ensure a systematic and practical coaching process, the IGROW model was implemented throughout the sessions. The results showed that the training effectively equipped students with the ability to visualize and plan their careers systematically, including mapping their interests, further education goals, and required skills. Evaluation findings indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of career planning, as evidenced by the difference between pre-test and post-test scores. Therefore, this training was proven effective in helping students prepare for their future careers in a more structured and potential-oriented manner.
