Abstract

Learning loss is one of the bases for learning recovery policies within a certain period related to the implementation of the curriculum by education units in Indonesia. The government gives options to educational units to implement a curriculum that fits the learning needs of students. The three curriculum options provided are the Curriculum 2013, the Emergency Curriculum (the simplified Curriculum 2013), and the Merdeka Curriculum. The purpose of writing this article is to find out and provide reinforcement regarding the distinction of the Indonesian Government's policy in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasah through differentiated instruction and P5-PPRA. This research is in the form of library research by using Government policies, and formal guidelines such as guidelines related to Differentiated Instruction and P5-PPRA as library sources. This research is also supported by articles and eBooks on Google Scholar, Publish and Perish, and Connected Paper. The results of this study have implications for the concept of Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasah with an effort to combine P5-PPRA which is strengthened by differentiated instruction. Apart from being a distinction in Madrasah, this endeavor also has implications for students to "experience knowledge" as a process of strengthening character, by expressing their unique creativity and innovation (implications of differentiated learning-teaching at the right level) which is strengthened by the values ​​of Pancasila and Islam Rahmatan lil Alamin (implication of P5-PPRA).

Abstract

Humans are constantly confronted with a variety of problems, including those pertaining to them as individuals, social beings, and divine beings. These conditions require humans to be always Sabar, Ikhlas, Syukur, and Tawadhu', as the elements of the religiosity dimensions. The population of East Kalimantan is comprised of adolescents with different cultural background enrolled in Junior High School in East Kalimantan. The sampling technique was carried out in phases, beginning with purposive area sampling and concluding with proportional simple random sampling, with a 5% margin of error, using the formula developed by Taro Yamane. Research data collection techniques are observation and questionnaires. SPSS was used to analyze data using multiple linear regression models. Several research findings demonstrate a correlation between religiosity and happiness. This quantitative field study seeks to determine how the attitudes of Sabar, Syukur, Ikhlas, and Tawadhu' influence the psychological well-being of East Kalimantan students. The coefficient of determination of 0.668 indicates that Ikhlas (X2), Syukur (X3), and Tawadhu' (X4) directly influence the Y variable by 66.8%, while the remaining (100-60)% = 33.2% is influenced by other factors in addition to Sabar (X1), Ikhlas (X2), Syukur (X3), and Tawadhu' (X4) that were not included in this study. On the basis of these considerations, the research findings can serve as a guide for educational curriculum stakeholders conducting research on the policy, theory, and practice of educational curricula containing the variables Sabar, Ikhlas, Syukur, and Tawadhu' in order to enhance the psychological well-being of students.

Abstract

Self-esteem merupakan suatu penilaian yang dilakukan oleh seseorang terhadap dirinya yang didasarkan pada hubungan dengan orang lain. Sesuai dengan aspek-aspek seperti penerimaan diri sendiri, harga diri sosial, dan evaluasi diri sendiri. Sementara kondisi nyata di lapangan ditemukan siswa memiliki self esteem siswa yang rendah. Untuk itu, self esteem siswa perlu ditingkatkan, salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan self esteem siswa melalui pendekatan cognitive behavior theraphy dengan teknik self instruction. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan cognitive behavior theraphy terhadap self esteem siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design dimana design ini melibatkan dua kelompok subjek satu diberi perlakuan eksperimental dan yang lain tidak diberikan perlakuan (kelompok kontrol). Dengan jumlah masing-masing kelompok 10 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert self esteem. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan self esteem yang semula berada pada kategori rendah (negatif) menjadi siswa yang memiliki self esteem pada kategori sedang dan tinggi (positif). Sehingga berdasarkan hal tersebut, diketahui bahwa pendekatan cognitive behavior theraphy dengan teknik self instruction berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam meningkatkan self esteem siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melakukan analisis bibliometrik terhadap jaringan kolaborasi penelitian dalam bidang kesehatan mental untuk memahami pola kolaborasi, tren evolusi, dan dampaknya terhadap pemahaman serta penanganan masalah kesehatan mental. Data dianalisis dari tahun 1955 hingga 2023 dengan menggunakan metode co-authorship dan metrik jaringan. Temuan menunjukkan pergeseran fokus penelitian dari pemahaman dasar tentang gangguan mental hingga praktik kesehatan mental yang berfokus pada komunitas dan profesional, serta respons terhadap peristiwa darurat kesehatan global seperti pandemi COVID-19. Hasil analisis memberikan wawasan penting tentang struktur kolaborasi penelitian dan potensi arah penelitian masa depan, termasuk keterkaitan antara kesehatan mental dan faktor-faktor seperti pengangguran, dampak jangka panjang pandemi, peran sekolah dalam mendukung kesehatan mental, hubungan dengan alam dan aktivitas fisik, perbedaan gender, stigma, dan kualitas hidup.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan analisis bibliometrik terhadap tren penelitian tentang pendidikan karakter dalam meningkatkan kualitas pemikiran mahasiswa. Dengan menggunakan data dari artikel ilmiah, jurnal, dan konferensi terkait, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi utama dari penelitian yang telah ada, mengidentifikasi topik-topik yang paling sering dibahas, serta mengidentifikasi area yang memerlukan penelitian lebih lanjut. Analisis bibliometrik juga memberikan wawasan tentang perkembangan konsep dalam pendidikan karakter dan menggambarkan bagaimana fokus penelitian telah berubah seiring waktu. Hasil analisis ini memberikan panduan bagi para peneliti masa depan untuk mengembangkan bidang ini dan membantu lembaga pendidikan merancang program-program yang lebih efektif dalam memperkuat karakter mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi dan pembentukan generasi yang lebih beretika dan berkarakter.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan agama Islam memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk pemahaman individu tentang nilai-nilai dan konsep-konsep agama islam. Dalam konteks globalisasi yang terus berkembang, kebutuhan akan pemahaman yang inklusif terhadap keragaman agama semakin mendesak. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi potensi integrasi konsep Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) ke dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep agama. Melalui pendekatan analisis SWOT, kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran ini dieksplorasi secara mendalam. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa SRL memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan belajar mandiri, meningkatkan refleksi diri, dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Namun, tantangan seperti tingkat kemandirian siswa yang beragam dan kebutuhan akan dukungan guru yang kuat juga diidentifikasi. Berdasarkan temuan ini, beberapa rekomendasi diberikan, termasuk pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih terintegrasi dengan SRL, pelatihan guru yang lebih intensif, dan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman tentang bagaimana pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis SRL dapat digunakan secara efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep agama Islam, serta menawarkan panduan bagi pendidik dan peneliti dalam menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang dalam konteks pendidikan agama Islam.Abstract: Islamic religious education is crucial in shaping an individual's understanding of Islamic values and concepts. In the context of ever-evolving globalization, the need for an inclusive sense of religious diversity is increasingly urgent. This article explores the potential integration of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning as a solution to improve understanding of religious concepts. The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of implementing this learning strategy are explored in depth through a SWOT analysis approach. The results show that SRL allows students to develop self-study skills, enhance self-reflection, and integrate religious values into their daily lives. However, challenges such as diverse levels of student independence and the need for solid teacher support were also identified. Based on these findings, several recommendations were given, including developing a curriculum that is more integrated with SRL, more intensive teacher training, and integrating technology in Learning. This article contributes to understanding how SRL-based learning approaches can be used effectively to enhance understanding of Islamic religious concepts, as well as offer guidance for educators and researchers facing challenges and seizing opportunities in the context of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan Islam telah menjadi aspek fundamental dalam masyarakat Muslim, membentuk nilai, keyakinan, dan perilaku individu. Di era kontemporer, lanskap pendidikan berkembang pesat, menuntut refleksi terhadap kondisi terkini dan proyeksi masa depan pendidikan Islam agar tetap relevan dan transformatif. Artikel ini mengkaji perubahan pendidikan Islam melalui analisis literatur dan SWOT, serta menyoroti kebutuhan integrasi subjek modern seperti sains, teknologi, teknik, seni, dan matematika dalam kerangka pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur yang dikumpulkan dari database akademik seperti Google Scholar, JSTOR, dan ProQuest. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode SWOT untuk menilai kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan signifikan seperti kurangnya inovasi metode pengajaran, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan akses yang tidak merata ke pendidikan berkualitas. Namun, terdapat peluang besar dalam kemajuan teknologi, peningkatan kesadaran global, dan potensi kemitraan dengan institusi internasional. Transformasi pendidikan Islam membutuhkan inovasi dalam metode pengajaran, adopsi pendekatan interaktif dan kontekstual, serta pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan relevansi pendidikan. Pendidikan Islam juga harus menjawab isu sosial kontemporer seperti keadilan sosial, keberlanjutan lingkungan, dan kepemimpinan etis, sehingga siswa dapat berkembang menjadi warga global yang bertanggung jawab dengan integritas moral dan spiritual yang kuat. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada diskusi akademik mengenai pendidikan Islam dan mendorong praktik pendidikan yang lebih adaptif dan transformatif.Abstract: Islamic education has been a fundamental aspect of Muslim society, shaping individuals' values, beliefs, and behaviors. In the contemporary era, the educational landscape is rapidly evolving, demanding reflection on the current state and future projections of Islamic education to remain relevant and transformative. This article examines changes in Islamic education through literature analysis and SWOT, highlighting the need for integrating modern subjects such as science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics within the Islamic education framework. The research employs a qualitative approach with literature studies collected from academic databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, and ProQuest. Data is analyzed using the SWOT method to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Islamic education. The findings reveal that Islamic education faces significant challenges such as a lack of innovative teaching methods, limited resources, and unequal access to quality education. However, there are substantial opportunities in technological advancements, increasing global awareness, and potential partnerships with international institutions. Transforming Islamic education requires innovation in teaching methods, adopting interactive and contextual approaches, and utilizing information and communication technology to enhance engagement and educational relevance. Islamic education must also address contemporary social issues such as social justice, environmental sustainability, and ethical leadership, enabling students to develop into responsible global citizens with strong moral and spiritual integrity. This article aims to contribute to the academic discussion on Islamic education and encourage more adaptive and transformative educational practices.

Abstract

The status of religious education in Indonesia is equivalent to education in general. Thus, religious education needs to optimize and improve performance so that religious education is noticed in terms of management and administration with education in general. This service aims to optimize the existence of the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) "Darul Muhajirin" institution. This service uses a method in the form of an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. Optimization of the results of this service can be categorized into two parts, the first in terms of institutional optimization, namely submitting of TPA unit numbers to special institutions (BKPRMI), and the second from the aspect of optimizing Human Resources is by involving teachers and TPA of managers in teaching staff training about TPA, as well as holding Seminar on Education Quality Management Systems. This dedication implies that optimizing Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an "Darul Muhajirin" could be a place to form early Qur'an cadres for children, especially in BORNEO SKM Housing, Samarinda City.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are required to be agents of development, playing an active role in contributing to and transforming the field of economic empowerment and the quality of their resources. Many Islamic boarding schools have adapted and transformed into institutions that participate in economic empowerment efforts, but the programme only involves motivators and target groups without the involvement of the students, both cognitively and in terms of action. Thus, students must be empowered. Among the skills that students should be prepared with are those that will enable them to support the pesantren's economy and also add value for them when they return to society. The objective of this assistance is to enhance the understanding and awareness of students and pesantren on the significance of the creative industry for the advancement of pesantren and as a precursor for students after graduating from these educational institutions. Therefore, the research team/servant and the pesantren together explore the potential or assets that they have, develop appropriate programmes, and also evaluate the implemented programmes. The ABCD approach is a service methodology employed in this mentoring programme. This service technique is broadly divided into five stages: (1) Identification of community strengths; (2) Asset mapping of the community, (3) Planning the form of the mentoring programme; (4) programme implementation; (5) monitoring and evaluation (M&E) is conducted using the Most Significant Change (MSC) technique.

Abstract

Current curriculum developments place greater emphasis on developing learning models and methods that can accommodate students' differences in learning styles and abilities. In the independent curriculum, this concept is better known as differentiated learning. One concept that can facilitate differentiated learning in the context of assessment is Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing assessment models in PAI learning in the UDL context. The findings of this research indicate that the assessment model that is widely applied to PAI learning is the authentic assessment model. Based on educational level, this authentic assessment model is more widely applied at the junior secondary education level (SMP/MTs). Based on the results of the analysis of articles that met the inclusion criteria, no evidence was found regarding the effectiveness of its implementation which had an impact on PAI learning processes and outcomes. The findings of this research can be used as an empirical basis for conducting research that focuses on the influence of implementing assessment models on PAI learning processes and outcomes.
