Abstract

The guidance and counselling service approach in current research is no longer only focused on problems and how to handle them. Still, many have focused on individual strengths and individual optimization. One of them is happiness. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of guidance and counselling services in developing students' happiness. The method used is Systematic Literature Review by collecting references from various research kinds of literature from both journals and theses and dissertations in the 2015-2021 timeframe. Data analysis used the meta-synthesis method, namely identifying and interpreting the overall research results following the research questions being studied. The findings of this study are that there are various guidance and counselling service interventions in the literature which are analyzed and categorized into several major themes. And the majority of these interventions have a significant and effective effect on developing students' happiness.

Abstract

Mahasiswa biasanya menghadapi tekanan akibat proses akulturasi dengan budaya baru di tempat ia menuntut ilmu karena harus menghadapi perubahan budaya, perubahan gaya hidup, perubahan lingkungan dan mahasiswa dituntut untuk mampu memenuhi tuntutan perilaku, kognitif, serta afektif yang muncul dari lingkungan Resiliensi sangat diperlukan bagi individu khususnya mahasiswa agar mampu menghadapi dan bertahan dengan lingkungan dan budaya baru. Peran Bimbingan dan konseling untuk membantu mahasiswa agar memiliki kompetensi pribadi resiliensi adalah dengan memberikan upaya preventif berupa Bimbingan Konseling Bermain dengan pendekatan kognitif behavior. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah upaya preventif yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan resiliensi mahasiswa adalah dengan menggunakan kegiatan bimbingan kelompok dengan strategi bermain menggunakan pendekatan kognitif behavioral. Jenis permainan pada permainan ini adalah permainan-permainan tradisional meliputi permainan hompimpa, ular tangga, bakiak dan congklak.

Abstract

Empati merupakan aktivitas emosional dengan merasakan apa yang orang lain rasakan dari sudut pandang orang itu tanpa kehilangan identitasnya sendiri. Sebagai makhluk sosial, manusia diharapkan memiliki empati yang optimal agar mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya baik secara interpersonal maupun terhadap lingkungannya. Rendahnya empati dapat memberikan dampak-dampak yang dapat merugikan seseorang, khususnya mahasiswa di mana dalam perspektif perkembangan hidupnya merupakan tahap yang paling menantang dalam mengkonstruk karakter dan berpengaruh pada rentang hidup selanjutnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkonstruk dan memetakan konseptual empati pada mahasiswa dan intervensi Cognitive Play Therapy untuk meningkatkan empati pada mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literatur review. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dalam beberapa penelitian terakhir CBPT dianggap efektif untuk meningkatkan empati pada mahasiswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dibahas lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Analisis RUU SISDIKNAS Tahun 2022 ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan beberapa sudut pandang terkait kesesuaian RUU yang direncanakan dengan konteks Pendidikan terkhusus pendidikan IPA pada RUU Sisdiknas Tahun 2022 Bab XIV Tentang Pendidik dan Kependidikan. Kegiatan analisis ini didasarkan pada adanya pro dan kontra terhadap RUU Sisdiknas Tahun 2022 yang telah direncanakan oleh pemerintah dalam hal ini Kemendikbudristek. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar telaah dokumen. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskripti dengan menggunakan tahapan reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa isi dalam rancangan ini perlu untuk direvisi agar dihasilkan peraturan perundang-undangan yang lebih efisien dan fleksibel tanpa harus mengurangi substansi dan keberpihakan terhadap pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan.

Abstract

Adversity intelligence merupakan kemampuan dan ketekunan individu dalam menghadapi tantangan hidup sehari-hari seraya tetap berpegang teguh pada prinsip dan impian tanpa memperdulikan apa yang sedang terjadi. Individu yang memiliki adversity intelligence rendah tidak mampu mengatasi hambatan dan kesulitan serta pesimis terhadap masa depan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pentingnya adversity intelligence di bidang Pendidikan. Tinjauan pustaka yang komprehensif menggunakan metodologi analisis isi digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi tiga aspek publikasi  adversity intelligence dalam pendidikan, antara lain 1) jenis desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian terkait adversity intelligence 2) subjek penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian terkait adversity intelligence, dan 3) peran adversity intelligence dalam pendidikan. 20 artikel dianalisis dengan menelusuri dan mereview dari jurnal database terpercaya, yaitu Scopus, Science Direct, dan Researchgate. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adversity intelligence memberikan pengaruh yang besar dalam bidang pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) penelitian deskriptif dan eksperimental adalah desain yang paling umum digunakan; 2) partisipan penelitian dalam penelitian adversity intelligence didominasi pada siswa SMA/SMK; 3) peran adversity intelligence pada bidang pendidikan didominasi oleh prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan referensi kepada konselor/Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling untuk mengembangkan adversity intelligence siswa.

Abstract

Entering the 21st century, the leadership role of teachers is in the spotlight in primary to secondary education. Similarly, the leadership of school counselors began to be voiced. Changes in the orientation of guidance and counseling resulted in a shift in the role of the school counselor as one of the implementers in guidance and counseling management. School counselors exercise a leadership role in developing and organizing guidance and counseling programs. This study aims to describe and how the leadership of school counselors theoretically and empirically. The analysis method uses a literature review with four stages: identification, screening, suitability, and inclusion. The primary data sources are obtained from academic reference books and previous research on teacher leadership, guidance and counseling over the past five years that have been published in reputable journals in the Scopus database. The results showed that school counselor leadership in the last five years carried several themes, such as testing the effectiveness of leadership training interventions, the relationship of leadership with personality attributes, the design of leadership training frameworks, the relationship of counseling leadership with professional counselor identity, and school counselor leadership in the context of ethnicity. The results of this study are expected to provide a broader picture of future research opportunities on the topic of school counselor leadership.

Abstract

The Infusion of Science into Sustainable Lifestyles Project was a case study conducted in six elementary schools in West Java, Indonesia to examine the implementation of a Merdeka Curriculum. A project aimed at increasing students' awareness of the principles of Pancasila, a set of national values, and promoting sustainable lifestyles. The study used a case study research method, including observations, interviews, and document analysis, to understand the development and implementation of the project. The results showed that the project included a variety of activities, such as games, simulations, and discussions, to engage students and help them understand the principles of sustainable living. The study also found that integrating science content, such as information about ecosystems and the environment, was an effective way to enhance the sustainability theme of the project. The researchers concluded that the Infusion of Science into Sustainable Lifestyles Project was successful in promoting sustainable lifestyles among students and recommended continued implementation and evaluation of the project in the future.

Abstract

Abstrak Pembelajaran IPA di SD merupakan bagian dari gerbang awal dalam memperkenalkan sains untuk siswa tingkat dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi latar belakang Pendidikan dan pengalaman mengajar guru yang mengajar IPA di Sekolah Dasar (SD), serta strategi, tantangan dan cara mengatasi dalam membelajarkan IPA di SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi pembelajaran pada dua guru SD di wilayah Kab. Bandung Barat dan Kota Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh tantangan dalam mengajar IPA di SD diantaranya adalah: kurangnya sarana prasarana, kurangnya kesempatan guru dalam mengikuti kegiatan untuk pengembangan profesionalismenya, keterbatasan bahan ajar, keterbatasan pengembangan strategi mengajar, serta rendahnya kemampuan inkuiri siswa. Beberapa alternatif untuk menghadapi tantangan tersebut diantaranya adalah guru aktif mengikuti pelatihan, workshop, dan seminar sehingga tetap dapat mengikuti perkembangan pembelajaran. Selain itu, direkomendasikan bagi para pemangku kebijakan untuk berperan aktif dalam mengoptimalkan pemenuhan sarana prasarana pembelajaran dan menyelenggarakan pengembangan profesionalisme guru secara masif dan menyeluruh.Abstract: Science education in elementary school is part of the introduction of science to elementary level students. The purpose of this study is to identify the educational background and teaching experience of elementary school science teachers, as well as the strategies, challenges, and means of overcoming them. This research is phenomenological case study research with a descriptive approach. Two elementary school instructors in Kab. Bandung Barat and Kota Bandung participated in interviews and learning observations as part of the research. A lack of infrastructure, a lack of opportunities for teachers to participate in activities for professional development, a lack of teaching materials, a lack of teaching strategy development, and low student inquiry abilities were identified as obstacles to teaching science in elementary schools. Teachers who actively participate in training, workshops, and seminars in order to stay apprised of learning developments are among the alternatives available for addressing these challenges. In addition, it is suggested that policymakers play an active role in optimizing the fulfillment of learning infrastructure and instituting massive and comprehensive teacher professionalism development.

Abstract

This article aims to evaluate the digital competencies of prospective teachers in Indonesia in the context of digital education. A survey method was used to collect data from students and alumni of the physics education program from 2017 to 2022. A total of 248 respondents participated in the study, consisting of 202 students and 46 alumni. The collected data were then analyzed quantitatively. The research findings indicate that the majority of respondents showed a positive response to their abilities in all assessed dimensions of digital competencies. Literacy in information and data, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, safety, and problem-solving received favorable ratings. However, there is potential to improve skills in digital content creation. Overall, the respondents demonstrated a good level of competence in the evaluated digital competency indicators. The data also revealed that students and alumni of the physics education program are accustomed to using technology in their academic activities. They utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to access course materials, submit assignments, and take exams. Additionally, they employ various applications and collaborate online in groups. The program also offers courses that support the use of technology in learning. In conclusion, the perception of pre-service teachers towards digital competence is positive due to the support provided by the study program in offering technology-integrated courses.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the design of science teacher training in Indonesia and the results of the training on science teacher professionalism. The method in this research is a literature study using content analysis methods from accredited journal articles and national seminar proceedings consisting of 20 articles from 2015-2022. The study results show that the design of the training that has been carried out has not demonstrated the stages of learning based on the needs and expectations of the Science Teacher but is still focused on delivering the material and not on implementation. The results of the training have not shown a valid measurement because it does not measure the situation at the beginning and end of the teacher during the training process, so it is only seen that there is a positive response and teacher motivation to apply the results of the training.
