Abstract

Currently, students are expected to excel and make significant contributions in various sectors such as education, technology, the economy, and social aspects as the year 2045 approaches. Resilience in facing challenges (hardiness) has the potential to support academic resilience. The aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of Hardiness Counseling in enhancing academic resilience. This article has undergone a review and analysis process to illustrate how training in developing hardiness can have a positive impact on resilience against stress in Indonesian adolescents, in line with the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045. The results of the literature analysis underscore the importance of hardiness training as a relevant step toward achieving the goals of Indonesia Emas 2045.

Abstract

Analisis RUU SISDIKNAS Tahun 2022 ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan beberapa sudut pandang terkait kesesuaian RUU yang direncanakan dengan konteks Pendidikan terkhusus pendidikan IPA pada RUU Sisdiknas Tahun 2022 Bab XIV Tentang Pendidik dan Kependidikan. Kegiatan analisis ini didasarkan pada adanya pro dan kontra terhadap RUU Sisdiknas Tahun 2022 yang telah direncanakan oleh pemerintah dalam hal ini Kemendikbudristek. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar telaah dokumen. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskripti dengan menggunakan tahapan reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa isi dalam rancangan ini perlu untuk direvisi agar dihasilkan peraturan perundang-undangan yang lebih efisien dan fleksibel tanpa harus mengurangi substansi dan keberpihakan terhadap pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan.

Abstract

Supervisi memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan profesional konselor dalam bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan model supervisi sejawat berbasis teori diri (self theory) dan dukungan sejawat (peer support theory). Artikel ini menjelaskan pendekatan konseptual model ini, serta manfaatnya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional dan refleksi diri konselor. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan pendekatan supervisi yang mendukung pengembangan pribadi dan profesional konselor. Abstract

This study conducted a bibliometric analysis to map the global research landscape on cyberbullying in the context of guidance and counseling. A total of 195 scientific papers indexed by Scopus from 2015 to 2025 were analyzed quantitatively using RStudio (Bibliometrix) and VOSviewer. The analysis showed a significant increase in scientific productivity, with the United States, Spain, and Turkey as the main contributors. Most publications (78%) use quantitative methods and focus on adolescent populations (63%). The thematic evolution analysis revealed a shift in research focus from behavioral identification towards preventive interventions, detection systems, counseling, and the use of technology such as machine learning. The article by Radovic et al. (2016) received the highest number of citations (223). Developing thematic areas emphasize mental health, digital identity, and technology-based counseling strategies. The implications of this study highlight the urgency of developing adaptive, evidence-based digital counseling policies and integrating digital literacy into prevention programs. Abstract

This article aims to describe the role of education in shaping student independence. Education as the spearhead in developing the quality of Human Resources has an important role in developing and improving the quality of a country. The quality of education is not only measured in the academic component but how can guarantee the development of independent students in accordance with the stages of development where one of the main components is student character. This article uses a literature review approach, namely selecting specific sources according to the theme, identifying articles, and then compiling articles. Meanwhile, the data collection technique used is through journals, books, and articles, both national and international, which are related to the subject matter that is the theme of this article. In order to support the study, a small survey was conducted at the school, namely SMA I Lembang Bandung. Education is carried out with the aim of forming not only the academic component of students but also delivering students to be independent as a whole. In forming the independent character of students, it is necessary to have parties who have responsibility and authority such as teachers, parents, and the community. On the other hand, cultural factors which are an integral component of the community structure cannot be separated from influencing the character development factors of independent students. Thus it is necessary to have synergy in building quality Human Resources (HR).

Abstract

Professional competencies are critical for guidance and counseling (GC) teachers to provide effective and accountable support services in educational settings. This study aimed to map the professional competency profiles of GC teachers and identify areas requiring enhancement. Data were collected from 93 GC teachers at public senior high schools in Bandung City, Indonesia, using a quantitative survey design. A validated questionnaire, based on national regulatory standards, was used to measure seven key aspects of professional competence, including assessment, program design, implementation, evaluation, supervision, personal development, and collaboration. The results indicated that 61% of participants demonstrated a medium level of competency, with only 20% reaching a high level. Teachers showed relative strength in theoretical knowledge and program planning but struggled in applying digital tools, conducting program evaluations, and supervising counselor trainees. Factors such as limited training, insufficient institutional support, and high counselor-to-student ratios were identified as contributing barriers. These findings highlight the need for targeted professional development programs that incorporate digital integration, collaborative models, and structured supervision frameworks. The study concludes that without systemic efforts to strengthen professional capacities, the effectiveness of school-based counseling services may remain limited. Further research is recommended to evaluate the impact of mentorship programs and technology-enhanced training models on long-term competency improvement among GC teachers.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low personal quality of the counselor teachers resulting in the unwillingness of the counselee to consult. The purpose of the study was to show a description of the development of empathy skills possessed by prospective guidance and counseling teachers candidates. The participants in this study were 156 students of the Department of Educational Psychology and Guidance at the Faculty of Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The data were collected through a self-report questionnaire to measure empathy. The results showed that the development of empathy was mostly in the medium category with a proportion of 35.25%, meaning that Guidance and Counseling Teacher candidates tend to be confused and hesitant to understand the views of others in a condition, sometimes unable to position themselves imaginatively towards fictional feelings and actions, lack feelings of warmth, affection, and care for the suffering of others, and sometimes unable to feel discomfort like others because of being influenced by several factors such as closeness and experience. The analysis of perspective-taking indicator was a low category; also, the development of female empathy was higher than that of men, so the empathy skills possessed by the Guidance and Counseling candidates had not to reach a holistic counselor personally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh permainan tradisional sumpit sebagai teknik dalam bimbingan konseling kelompok terhadap pengembangan kemampuan kerja sama siswa SD di Singkawang. Permainan sumpit, yang melibatkan keterampilan fisik, konsentrasi, dan kerja sama antar peserta, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bekerja sama di antara siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen untuk mengukur efektivitas kemampuan kerja sama siswa sebelum dan setelah pelaksanaan teknik permainan sumpit dalam bimbingan kelompok dengan menggunakan analisis uji N-Gain. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 siswa SD di Singkawang yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang mengukur kemampuan kerja sama siswa, yang dibagikan sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah mengikuti bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan sumpit, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan kerja sama siswa, dengan nilai N-Gain Komunikasi = 0.625, Pembagian Tugas = 0.571, Pemecahan Masalah Bersama = 0.684, Pengelolaan Konflik = 0.556, Rasa Percaya Diri = 0.585. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan sumpit efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kerja sama siswa SD di Singkawang. Penelitian ini menyarankan penggunaan permainan tradisional sebagai metode alternatif dalam bimbingan konseling kelompok untuk memperkuat keterampilan sosial dan kerja sama siswa.

Abstract

Bullying di tingkat SMP masih menjadi masalah serius, di mana sebagian besar kasus terjadi di hadapan bystander yang tidak bertindak. Peran aktif bystander sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan berpikir kritis yang memungkinkan mereka mengevaluasi situasi dan mengambil keputusan etis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi intervensi yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis bystander dalam menyikapi bullying di SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menyaring 173 artikel menggunakan kerangka PRISMA dan fokus pada publikasi tahun 2020–2025. Sebanyak 10 artikel relevan dianalisis, mencakup program seperti STAC, pelatihan empati, peer advocacy, dan storytelling yang terbukti meningkatkan peran aktif bystander.  Strategi pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan sosial, emosional, dan kognitif secara sistemik dapat secara efektif meningkatkan berpikir kritis dan partisipasi prososial bystander di SMP.  Intervensi edukatif yang berbasis empati dan berpikir kritis efektif membentuk siswa sebagai agen perubahan sosial yang berani bertindak dalam konteks bullying.

Abstract

This descriptive review examines the book "Personality Psychology: Theory and Research" ninth edition by Lawrence A. Pervin, Daniel Cervone, and Oliver P. John, published by Kencana Prenada Media Group (2012). The purpose of this review is to provide a comprehensive overview of the book's structure, content, and contributions to personality psychology literature, as well as to evaluate its relevance for education and practice in guidance and counseling. Analysis reveals that this book successfully presents a broad panorama of personality theories—from classical psychodynamic to contemporary neuroscience—with an objective and balanced approach. The book's main strengths lie in its organic integration of theory and empirical research, accessible yet rigorous writing style, and pedagogical features that support deep learning. The book includes comprehensive discussions of psychodynamic theory, trait approaches (including the Big Five model), humanistic perspectives, social-cognitive theory, as well as biological and genetic foundations of personality. The ninth edition introduces significant expansion in personality neuroscience and contextual perspectives that reflect current developments in the field. For students and practitioners of guidance and counseling, this book offers an essential theoretical foundation for understanding clients holistically, conducting valid assessments, and selecting theoretically grounded interventions. Despite limitations regarding the depth of certain topics and cultural bias, the book's strengths far outweigh its weaknesses. This review recommends the book as a primary textbook for personality psychology courses and as an important reference for counseling practitioners.   Review deskriptif ini mengkaji buku "Psikologi Kepribadian: Teori dan Penelitian" edisi kesembilan karya Lawrence A. Tujuan review adalah memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang struktur, konten, dan kontribusi buku terhadap literatur psikologi kepribadian, serta mengevaluasi relevansinya untuk pendidikan dan praktik bimbingan dan konseling.
