Abstract

Taxes and community empowerment are closely related in the context of tax cut programmes aimed at vulnerable groups. A tax cut is a reduction in tax burden granted by the government to certain individuals or groups to increase their disposable income. In vulnerable groups, which usually include low-income individuals, the elderly, and those in difficult economic conditions, tax cuts aim to reduce financial hardship and improve access to basic needs such as food, health, and education. The method used in this research uses the literature research method. The results show that the tax cut programme can significantly contribute to improving the welfare of vulnerable groups by increasing disposable income and reducing economic burden. However, the effectiveness of this programme is highly dependent on proper policy design, efficient implementation, and the government's ability to maintain fiscal balance. Focused and well-structured programmes tend to achieve better results in terms of community empowerment compared to generic or overly broad programmes. In addition, community involvement and transparency in programme implementation are also key factors in ensuring success and accountability. The study concludes that with proper planning and execution, tax deduction programmes can be an effective tool in empowering vulnerable groups and improving socio-economic welfare more broadly.

Abstract

Tax audits alone may not be effective enough in encouraging tax compliance without being supported by thorough tax education and the use of technology in the tax system. The research method used is the literature research method. The results show that tax audit has a deterrent effect on tax avoidance, but its effectiveness increases significantly when accompanied by tax education that provides knowledge and forms a positive attitude towards taxes. In addition, the integration of technology in the tax administration process makes it easier for taxpayers to fulfill their obligations, improving tax compliance through increased efficiency and transparency. Thus, success in improving tax compliance requires a combination of fair and consistent enforcement of regulations, informative and awareness-building education initiatives, and the development of a supportive technological infrastructure. The implications of these findings provide guidance for tax policy makers to design more effective strategies to improve tax compliance in the future.

Abstract

Social media plays an important role in increasing public participation. Platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram enable the rapid and widespread dissemination of information among the public, so that people become more informed about important issues. In addition, social media provides a space for people to express their opinions and interact directly with policymakers, creating a more inclusive and democratic form of participation. Through social media, individuals are able to engage in public discussions, contribute to social movements, and influence societal decision-making processes. However, the positive impact of social media on public participation must also be managed wisely due to significant challenges. The spread of inaccurate news and misinformation through social media can cause confusion and conflict in society. Algorithms that favor controversial or extreme content also have the potential to exacerbate political polarization and divide communities. To face these challenges, good digital literacy is needed so that people can be more critical in evaluating the information they receive and share. In addition, collaboration between the government, social media platform administrators and the public is needed to ensure that social media can be utilized positively and constructively to increase public participation. With the right approach, social media has the potential to be an effective tool to create a more inclusive, transparent and responsive public decision-making process.

Abstract

Dyslexia is a specific learning disorder known for difficulties in the acquisition of reading skills, especially in terms of reading speed and fluency as well as text comprehension. The disorder is neurological in nature and often genetic, with affected individuals having difficulties in word recognition, decoding language sounds, and processing and recalling visual and verbal information. Although dyslexia is not related to general intelligence levels, it can affect various aspects of learning and oral and written communication. The study in this research uses the literature research method. The results show that Teachers can overcome the difficulty of learning the Qur'an in dyslexic students by applying multisensory strategies, which involve the use of various senses in the learning process. These strategies include visualization of letters and words, auditory through repeated recitations, and kinesthetic such as writing and arranging letters. It is also important for the teacher to provide motivation and emotional support, as well as modify the pace of learning according to the individual needs of the student, thus creating a pleasant learning environment and minimizing frustration. This personalized approach increases students' confidence in learning the Qur'an and makes it easier for them to overcome the barriers caused by dyslexia.

Abstract

Vocational education in Indonesia faces various challenges in preparing competent and adaptive human resources for the 21st century. Despite various initiatives to improve the quality and relevance of vocational education, educational institutions still struggle with a less dynamic curriculum, limited infrastructure, and lack of collaboration with industry. As a result, vocational education graduates are often unprepared for the fast-changing and highly-skilled world of work. This challenge calls for a comprehensive reform of the vocational education system, involving the integration of 21st century skills such as adaptability, collaboration, critical thinking and digital literacy into the curriculum. It is also necessary to encourage strong partnerships between educational institutions and the industrial world to create a curriculum that is relevant and in line with labour market needs. In addition, the application of modern technology in the learning process, comprehensive training for teaching staff, and the development of high-quality vocational centres need to be prioritised. With consistent and coordinated reforms, vocational education in Indonesia is expected to be able to act as the main pillar in supporting the availability of competent and qualified human resources, and be able to compete at the global level. This will require close collaboration between government, industry and educational institutions to address the 21st century skills challenges and contribute to the nation's economic and social development.
