Abstract

Shaykh Muhammad Arsyad Banjar is a figure of fiqh and astronomy Nusantara who has a great influence on Islamic scholarly discourse in Nusantara. One of his astronomical works is Mas’alah al-Qiblah fi l-Batawy which discusses various issues of Qibla direction that developed in the community, especially among Baetawi residents at that time. This manuscript is stored in UB Leiden, Netherlands. This manuscript provides information about the dynamics of Islam that developed in society at that time, especially in matters of Qibla direction. This manuscript also informs that the phenomenon of the inaccuracy of the Qibla direction of a mosque at that time. Shaykh Muhammad Arsyad Banjar with his knowledge reconstructed the Qibla direction, including with naqli arguments, then tested directly with calculations and tools, one of the tools used was a compass (bait al-ibrah). In reality he received rejection and opposition from a number of figures and the community at that time. This study is intended to reveal this phenomenon which is represented in the Mas’alah al-Qiblah fi l-Batawy manuscript.

Abstract

The development of the times that cannot be separated from technology certainly demands the human ability to master the technology. The world of education is also not spared from these technological developments. In this case, of course, the teacher must also be qualified in mastering technology in order to be able to present interesting learning materials for students. However, problems also began to emerge, especially in children's interest in learning, which seemed stagnant. This is caused by several factors such as monotonous learning carried out by teachers who are not at peace with technological developments. This study aims to increase children's interest in learning by using pictorial media and power point. The research method used is quantitative research with purposive sampling technique. The results of the study are: children are interested in learning after using pictorial media on subjects at Madinatussalam School are very interested based on the results of the study, it can be proven by an average value of 28,85. with the number of respondents as many as 20 children. Based on the findings of the test data that has been carried out, it can be concluded that Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted, that is, there are differences in children's learning interest for those who use illustrated learning media than those who use power point media in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of preparing this proceeding article is to provide information on learning to memorize hadiths that are easy for young children by using the movement method. This method can be practiced by teachers in early childhood education institutions. This research was conducted at RA. Ar-Rasyid, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The research results obtained are that children can easily memorize hadiths using the movement method. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the movement method is a suitable method and can be applied in learning to memorize hadiths for early childhood.

Abstract

Program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini memiliki tujuan umum, yaitu untuk memberikan keterampilan kepada guru dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi digital dalam melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari Program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini, di dasarkan pada: masih banyak guru yang sulit dalam memanfaatkan berbagai media pembelajaran, teknologi informasi dan aplikasi digital dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Ruang lingkup program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah: Pertama, memberikan keahlian kepada pendidik untuk menguasai teknologi informasi, sehingga dapat membantu dalam kegiatan penyampaian informasi pembelajaran; Kedua, memberikan keahlian kepada pendidik untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi; Ketiga, Memberikan keahlian kepada pendidik untuk menguasai berbagai aplikasi digital, yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan evaluasi pembelajaran. Program kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini, menggunakan metode baik kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan aplikasi digital sebagai media dalam evaluasi pembelajaran di MTs Muhammadiyah 15 Medan, terdapat beberapa tahapan, diantaranya pelaksanaan program ini dimulai dari tahap persiapan program, tahap pelaksanaan program, dan tahap evaluasi program. Hasil dari kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah guru-guru yang ada dilingkungan MTs Muhammadiyah 15 Medan, setelah dilakukan program tersebut 86% guru-guru telah memiliki keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi digital dalam melakukan kegiatan evaluasi pembelajaran dan mengolah data hasil evaluasi pembelajaran. Guru telah terampil dalam membuat soal-soal secara online dan mengolah data hasil evaluasi pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi digital.

Abstract

Islamic religious education is vital for all muslims who are muslims. One is the fiqih lesson, which takes an important part in the daily lives of every Muslim. By the method of demonstration gave a clearer picture and could readily be seen by paying attention to the teacher's practice and by giving a verbal explanation. The purpose of this study: 1. Describe the implementation of fiqih learning by using demosntration methods at betong junior khaliffah schoon. 2. Describe the Benefits of Implementing Fiqh Learning Using the Demonstration Method at the Betong Junior Khalifah School. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a qualitative form of description, hence the data-gathering technique used was interviews, observation and documentation. The rtesults: 1. By the observation the author made at the junior caliph school that educators or teachers had already performed the ritual of prayer using demonstration methods. And the goals to be achieved were delivered after the tahities. 2. After methods of demonstration were implemented on prayer materials in fiqih subjects, then educators gave concrete understanding to learners. This has been reinforced by documenting ongoing demonstrations as well as by direct interviews.

Abstract

Video animasi adalah media pembelajaran atau dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan menampilkan gambar hidup, yang apabila suatu materi pembelajaran dituangkan dalam bentuk audio visual (bergerak, berwarna dan bersuara) kemungkinan akan menarik minat siswa untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa akan termotivasi juga dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar tarigh. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah implementasi video animasi bisa memotivasi siswa, serta untuk mengetahui apa faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat serta solusinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskripsif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus untuk mengetahui sebuah kasus untuk dikaji secara mendalam dan dideskripsikan secara rinci.Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Teknis analisis data terdiri dari pengunpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu video animasi dengan menggunakan layanan media streaming digital dalam pembelajaran tarigh sangat memotivasi siswa dalam memahami pelajaran tarigh.

Abstract

Tujuan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an sendiri agar anak-anak mampu membaca, menulis, serta mengamalkan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan anak-anak dalam mengingat, memahami, dan mampu mengulang kembali apa yang mereka katakan, sehingga dengan seiring waktu mereka dapat menghafalnya dengan metode gerakan tiga bahasa sesuai dengan bahasa Al-Qur’an yaitu bahasa arab, bahasa yang mereka gunakan sehari-hari yaitu bahasa Thailand, serta untuk menambah kosakata mereka dalam bahasa melayu. Penelitian ini juga di latarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran ataupun aktivitas pembelajaran yang pasif, karena hanya melibatkan apa yang disampaikan oleh guru dalam pembelajarannya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas 2, 3 dan 4 serta beberapa guru di sekolah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat antusias murid dalam menggunakan metode ini, serta ditemukannya hal lain bahwa dalam pembelajaran pendampingan guru serta pemilihan metode dan media pembelajaran menjadi hal yang sangat penting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the planning of student development programs at SMP Islam Al-Ulum Terpadu Medan. Researchers used qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach in this study. Data was collected using data collection techniques, namely: observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using techniques: selecting, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study stated that the planning of student development programs at SMP Islam Al-Ulum Terpadu Medan, the planning was carried out in the form of academic and non-academic programs. For student development programs, planning is carried out by determining achievement targets, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, how/techniques to do it, the costs required and when to implement them.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the concept of science integration at the State Islamic University (SIU) and discovers a model for curriculum development. It was carried out at three SIU, such as Imam Bonjol Padang, Antasari Banjarmasin, and Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. Data were collected using interviews, observations, and document reviews, and analyzed through the model suggested by Miles and Huberman. A triangulation technique was used to ensure the data are valid. The results showed that 1) the process of integrating science at SIU Iman Bonjol Padang, SIU Antasari Banjarmasin, and SIU Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten is almost similar. This process is carried out by integrating the curriculum into lecture activities, conducting workshops for lecturers, and joint research and community service. 2) Each university uses several models. For instance, SIU Imam Bonjol Padang, Antasari Banjarmasin, and Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten uses the term “sarang lebah” (beehive), “sungai pengetahuan” (source of knowledge), and integration-comparative-diffusion, respectively. The beehive is considered as a paradigm of dialogical interaction integration, while the source of knowledge consists of four integration pillars, dynamic, integration of Islam and nationality, locally based, as well as global perspective.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the lack of students’ Arabic language skills. The incubation of the muhadharah method aims to find out how the effect of the muhadharah method has on the Arabic language skills of students at Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a type of correlational quantitative research. The subjects in this study were school principals, educators and students at the darularafah raya Islamic boarding school. The population used was 450 students and the sample used was 100 students by using the slovin formula. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires, tests and documentation. The independent variable in the study was the muhadharah method while the dependent variable was the students’ Arabic language ability. As for the results of the t-test in this study, it shows that the calculated t-value is 20,768 with a significance level of 5%, which is greater than the t-rabel of 1,987 with a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05, so it can be said that the muhadharah method affects the students’ Arabic language skills so that prove that ha is accepted. As well as the results of the F test (Simultaneous Test) shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that the muhadharah method affects Arabic language skills.
