Abstract

Character education faces significant challenges due to digital disruption and globalization that trigger moral degradation in adolescents. In Purwakarta Regency, the "7 Poe Atikan" policy through Regent Regulation No. 69 of 2015 was implemented as a transformative solution based on local wisdom. This study aims to analyze the implementation mechanism, the character values ​​formed, and the supporting and inhibiting factors of the "7 Poe Atikan" program for students of SMPN 1 Maniis. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive literature method. Data are sourced from official documents, educational reports, and related scientific articles over the past seven years. The analysis shows that the implementation of "7 Poe Atikan" in Maniis District effectively internalizes the values ​​of nationalism and love of culture through concrete practices such as the use of Basa Indung (mother language) and traditional clothing. However, significant challenges were found in the Betah di Imah aspect which indicates the still weak synergy between schools and parents. The implementation of "7 Poe Atikan" at SMPN 1 Maniis has successfully created an educational ecosystem that adapts to local wisdom, although strengthening collaboration with the family environment remains a priority for the sustainability of students' holistic character.

Abstract

Patient rights represent a fundamental element in modern health law systems, ensuring the protection of human dignity, individual autonomy, and the safety of medical services. In Indonesia, the recognition of patient rights gains normative reinforcement through Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health. However, in Indonesia's religious social context, legal legitimacy does not solely derive from positive norms but also from their alignment with religious values. This research aims to analyze the concept and regulation of patient rights in national health law and to examine their relevance from the perspective of Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah (Aswaja) through a maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah approach. This study is a normative juridical research employing statutory, conceptual, and philosophical approaches, using descriptive-prescriptive analysis of primary and secondary legal sources. The research findings indicate that patient rights—such as the right to medical information, informed consent, data confidentiality, and fair services—are substantively aligned with the objectives of Islamic sharia, particularly the protection of life (ḥifẓ al-nafs), intellect (ḥifẓ al-‘aql), and human dignity (karāmah al-insān). Aswaja principles like tawassuṭ (moderation), tawāzun (balance), ta‘ādul (justice), and tasāmuḥ (tolerance) strengthen the ethical legitimacy of implementing patient rights in health service practices. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of health law based on moderate Islamic ethics by integrating positive legal norms and maqāṣid values as a normative-philosophical foundation in the national health law system. The implications of this research underscore the importance of harmonizing health regulations with Islamic ethical values to build fair, humane, and civilized health services in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: The potential of local wisdom as a contextual character education medium is immense, yet its implementation in madrasahs in Serang City is suboptimal, impacting the formation of students' Akhlakul Karimah. This study aims to analyze the implementation of local wisdom-based learning management (PBKL) and develop a holistic model to enhance Akhlakul Karimah. Methods: The research used a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design across five madrasahs in Serang City. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document study, then analyzed using the interactive model by Miles, Huberman, Saldana. Results: Findings indicate that PBKL implementation is weak across all POAC functions (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). The rich values of Banten's local wisdom have not been systematically integrated into the curriculum, learning implementation, and evaluation. The main inhibiting factors are limitations in teacher competence, teaching materials, and an unsupportive school culture. The impact on student morals remains temporary (output), not sustainable (outcome). Conclusion: A holistic and contextual PBKL management model is needed, one that synergistically strengthens all four management functions by making local wisdom the core of integration, not merely an add-on.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Potensi kearifan lokal sebagai medium pendidikan karakter yang kontekstual sangat besar, namun implementasinya di madrasah Kota Serang belum optimal, yang berdampak pada pembentukan Akhlakul Karimah siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal (PBKL) dan mengembangkan model holistik untuk meningkatkan Akhlakul Karimah. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi multi-situs di lima madrasah di Kota Serang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, Saldana. Hasil: Temuan menunjukkan implementasi PBKL lemah dalam seluruh fungsi POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). Kearifan lokal Banten yang kaya nilai belum terintegrasi secara sistematis ke dalam kurikulum, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi. Faktor penghambat utama adalah keterbatasan kompetensi guru, bahan ajar, dan budaya sekolah yang belum mendukung. Dampak terhadap akhlak siswa masih bersifat temporer (output), belum berkelanjutan (outcome). Kesimpulan: Diperlukan model manajemen PBKL yang holistik dan kontekstual, yang memperkuat keempat fungsi manajemen secara sinergis dengan menjadikan kearifan lokal sebagai inti integrasi, bukan sekadar tempelan.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenge of sustaining religious character and spiritual resilience among pesantren alumni after returning to broader social environments. Many graduates experience a decline in religious consistency when institutional structures are no longer present. This research aims to explore how the Manhaj Attahqiq at Banuraja Islamic Boarding School is internalized and how it influences the sustainability of religious practices, moral development, and spiritual well-being of alumni. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using in-depth interviews, open-ended questionnaires, and triangulation with significant others. Data were analyzed thematically to capture patterns of lived experiences and subjective meanings. The findings indicate that Manhaj Attahqiq does not merely cultivate ritual habits but internalizes spiritual discipline (riya?ah) as a sustainable life ethic, reflected in consistent worship practices, emotional stability, self-regulation, and meaningful life orientation. Dhikr, spiritual routines, and ethical discipline function as primary sources of spiritual resilience in navigating life challenges. The study concludes that a manhaj-centered internalization model emphasizing inner awareness and ethical embodiment is more effective in sustaining spiritual continuity than purely normative-instructional approaches, offering significant implications for the development of pesantren-based spiritual education models.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan keberlanjutan pembentukan karakter dan spiritualitas alumni pesantren setelah kembali ke masyarakat. Banyak lulusan lembaga pendidikan keagamaan mengalami penurunan konsistensi ibadah dan ketahanan akhlak ketika tidak lagi berada dalam lingkungan yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana Manhaj Attahqiq di Pondok Pesantren Banuraja diinternalisasikan dan berdampak pada keberlanjutan ibadah, pembentukan akhlak, serta kesejahteraan lahir dan batin alumni. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, angket terbuka, dan triangulasi dengan orang-orang terdekat alumni. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola pengalaman dan makna subjektif alumni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Manhaj Attahqiq tidak hanya membentuk kebiasaan ritual, tetapi menginternalisasikan riya?ah sebagai etika hidup yang berkelanjutan, tercermin dalam konsistensi ibadah, stabilitas emosi, pengendalian diri, serta orientasi hidup yang lebih bermakna. Praktik dzikir, wirid, dan disiplin adab menjadi sumber utama ketahanan spiritual alumni dalam menghadapi dinamika kehidupan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa internalisasi manhaj yang berorientasi pada pembentukan kesadaran batin lebih efektif dalam menjaga keberlanjutan spiritual dibandingkan pendekatan normatif-instruksional semata, sehingga memiliki implikasi penting bagi pengembangan model pendidikan pesantren berbasis tasawuf amali.

Abstract

In the increasingly digitalised landscape of vocational education, Islamic Religious Education faces challenges in maintaining methodological relevance and learning effectiveness, particularly within technically oriented schools. This study aims to examine the impact of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), optimised through the YouTube platform, on students’ cognitive learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education at SMK Plus Qurrota A’yun, Garut Regency. The research is grounded in the pedagogical transformation required in the Society 5.0 era, where vocational students demand learning approaches aligned with their digital ecosystem while remaining rooted in Islamic spiritual values. A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design was employed, involving 100 Year 11 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. The technological intervention utilised Large Language Models for pedagogical script development and Generative AI for content visualisation, distributed via YouTube. Statistical analysis using an independent t-test revealed a significant post-treatment difference between the two groups. The experimental group demonstrated a substantial increase in mean scores, a large effect size (d = 1.43), and a high level of student engagement. These findings indicate that the integration of AI and YouTube reduces cognitive load when learning abstract religious concepts, enhances information retention, and offers an effective blended learning model. The study concludes by recommending the adoption of adaptive curricula that position technology as a catalyst for religious understanding while preserving the teacher’s authoritative role.ABSTRAKDalam lanskap pendidikan vokasi yang semakin terdigitalisasi, Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) menghadapi tantangan relevansi dan efektivitas metodologis, khususnya di sekolah kejuruan yang lekat dengan ekosistem teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh integrasi teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) yang dioptimalkan melalui platform YouTube terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMK Plus Qurrota A’yun, Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian dilandasi urgensi transformasi pedagogis di era Society 5.0, yang menuntut pendekatan pembelajaran selaras dengan karakteristik digital siswa tanpa mengabaikan nilai spiritual Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimental dengan desain pretest–posttest kelompok kontrol, melibatkan 100 siswa kelas XI yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Intervensi dilakukan melalui pengembangan video pembelajaran berbasis YouTube yang dioptimalkan menggunakan Large Language Models untuk penyusunan skrip pedagogis dan Generative AI untuk visualisasi konten. Hasil analisis uji-t independen menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok setelah perlakuan, dengan peningkatan skor rata-rata yang tinggi pada kelompok eksperimen serta ukuran efek besar (d = 1,43) dan tingkat keterlibatan siswa yang tinggi. Temuan ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi AI dan YouTube efektif dalam menurunkan beban kognitif, meningkatkan retensi pemahaman materi PAI yang abstrak, serta mendukung model blended learning yang adaptif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami penerapan manajemen kegiatan ekstrakurikuler agama Islam dalam meningkatkan akhlaq al-karimah siswa di SMAIT Fitrah Insani Bale Endah. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan guru, siswa, dan kepala sekolah sebagai subjek utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan langkah-langkah manajemen yang sistematis, meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, sangat efektif dalam mengelola kegiatan ekstrakurikuler agama Islam. Perencanaan yang melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan memastikan kegiatan selaras dengan visi sekolah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan, seperti tilawah, sholat berjamaah, mentoring, dan mabit, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan disiplin dan kebiasaan baik siswa. Evaluasi yang komprehensif memberikan umpan balik untuk pengembangan program secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa model pengembangan berbasis partisipasi, pembiasaan, dan refleksi efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Islami secara holistik. Keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam perencanaan hingga evaluasi memperkuat internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Kesimpulannya, manajemen kegiatan ekstrakurikuler agama Islam yang terintegrasi dan berbasis nilai dapat menjadi acuan untuk menciptakan pendidikan karakter berbasis keislaman di tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap literatur dan praktik pengelolaan pendidikan karakter di Indonesia.

Abstract

The Ummi Method Quran Teacher Certification is a strategic tool for ensuring the quality of Quran education; however, its implementation in the field has not yet been fully optimized in terms of developing teachers’ pedagogical competencies. This study aims to analyze the management of the Ummi Method Quran Teacher Certification and its contribution to improving teachers’ pedagogical competencies at the Al-Ba’lawi Quran Learning Center in Cikarang. The study employs a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design, collecting data through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, which were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that certification management remains largely administrative and focused on technical aspects (tahsin), while post-certification mentoring and evaluation of pedagogical impact have not been optimally implemented. This has hindered the full development of teachers’ pedagogical competencies, particularly in contextual lesson planning, the implementation of active learning strategies, and the conduct of authentic assessment. Therefore, a paradigm shift in certification is needed—moving beyond mere testing toward continuous learning through strengthened mentoring, the development of communities of practice, and the integration of the values of the Ummi Method into the certification management cycle. ABSTRAKSertifikasi Guru Al-Qur’an Metode Ummi merupakan instrumen strategis dalam penjaminan mutu pendidikan Al-Qur’an, namun implementasinya di lapangan belum sepenuhnya optimal dalam mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen sertifikasi guru Al-Qur’an Metode Ummi serta kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru di TPA Al-Ba’lawi Cikarang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus intrinsik, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi yang dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sertifikasi masih cenderung bersifat administratif dan berfokus pada aspek teknis (tahsin), sementara pendampingan pasca-sertifikasi serta evaluasi dampak pedagogik belum berjalan optimal. Hal ini berdampak pada belum berkembangnya kompetensi pedagogik guru secara maksimal, terutama dalam perencanaan pembelajaran kontekstual, penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif, dan pelaksanaan penilaian autentik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan transformasi paradigma sertifikasi dari sekadar pengujian menuju pembelajaran berkelanjutan melalui penguatan pendampingan, pengembangan komunitas praktik, serta integrasi nilai-nilai Metode Ummi dalam siklus manajemen sertifikasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of digital technology to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at a Vocational High School (SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Sumedang). The study used a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were obtained through a questionnaire of 30 students at SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Sumedang and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Qualitative data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The results indicate that the use of digital technology is in the good category and contributes positively to increasing student motivation, engagement, and understanding in PAI learning. The integration of digital technology, pedagogically and contextually designed, has been proven to improve the quality of PAI learning at SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Sumedang. This study provides practical implications for PAI teachers in developing digital-based learning that is relevant to the characteristics of vocational students. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) YPIB Tanjungsari Sumedang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan desain sequential explanatory. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui angket terhadap 30 peserta didik SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Sumedang dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi digital berada pada kategori baik dan berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PAI. Integrasi teknologi digital yang dirancang secara pedagogis dan kontekstual terbukti mampu meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran PAI di SMK YPIB Tanjungsari Sumedang. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi guru PAI dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis digital yang relevan dengan karakteristik peserta didik vokasional.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of managerial skills (interpersonal skills) of madrasah leaders which is one of the causes of their performance failure which has an impact on the educational institution they lead and has an impact on the weak performance of teachers. With the interpersonal skills of the madrasah principal, teachers and other staff are motivated to improve their performance. The purpose of this study was to find out about the interpersonal skills of madrasah principals in improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education teachers and the supporting and inhibiting factors of madrasah principals in communicating to improve teacher performance. The research method used qualitative research with a case study approach at Madrasah Aliyah Plus Al-Munir Sumedang. The results of the study concluded that the Principal of Madrasah Aliyah Plus Al-Munir has interpersonal skills which include communication skills, the ability to understand in interacting, and the ability to motivate in the very good category. The results of the study can be used as consideration for madrasah principals to further improve closer and more effective communication with teachers, better understand and listen to the needs and desires of teachers, and continue to encourage and motivate teachers to improve their performance.
