Abstract

Krisis yang merambah Indonesia kini adalah krisis multidimensional, mulai dari krisis moral, etika dan toleransi. Kemunduran nilai-nilai moral pada peserta didik / masyarakat saat ini telah menjadi tantangan dan peringatan bagi semua pihak, terutama lembaga pendidikan, peran guru dan orang tua. Banyak kasus yang menimpa generasi muda, mulai dari kasus intoleransi,bullying, pergaulan bebas dan perbuatan menyimpang lainnya. Berbagai krisis multidimensi yang ada di Indonesia, diakui atau tidak merupakan bagian dari problem kultural yang salah satu penyebabnya adalah keragaman kultur yang ada di masyarakat kita. Keragaman kultur seharusnya bukan menjadi penyebab adanya diskriminasi, ketidakadilan, kecurigaan dan berbagai pelanggaran HAM, tetapi menjadi kekuatan untuk membangun kebersamaan. Guru memiliki peran penting dalam transmisi ilmu pengetahuan, informasi, pendidikan karakter, penelitian, rekreasi, dan pemahaman kultural. Pemikiran pendidikan Islam multikultural yang ada di Indonesia disandarkan pada ajaran Islam sebagai sumber pemikiran. Multikulturalitas merupakan sunnatullah yang tidak bisa dihindari didalamnya mengandung nilai-nilai penting bagi pebangunan keimanan dan kehidupan sosial.Peran guru dan Pendidikan agama memegang peranan penting dalam meluruskan pemahaman Islam yang menyimpang kepada pemahaman Islam yang ”Rahmatan lil allamin”. Pendidikan agama Islam dalam masyarakat sangatlah penting. Melalui pendidikan islam dan pengajaran berdampak pada akhlak yang baik. Ajaran agama bukan hanya ritual belaka tetapi sampai kepada aktualisasi ajaran dan nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membahas pengembangan pendidikan agama islam dalam masyarakat multicultural. Metode penulisan ini adalah kajian kepustakaan( literature library) dengan pendekatan konten analisis, yang termasuk dalam kategori penelitian kualitatif, yang akan mengkaji teori – teori tentang Pendidikan Islam dalam Masyarakat Multikultural dan mencari informasi yang relevan dengan masalah serta memperdalam pengetahuan penulis mengenai masalah pendidikan agama dalam masyarakat yang majmuk / multicultural.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara pendidikan Islam, konsep fitrah manusia, dan progresivitas sebagai kerangka pembentukan karakter individu dan pembangunan peradaban. Dalam Islam, fitrah manusia dipahami sebagai potensi bawaan yang cenderung kepada kebenaran, keimanan kepada Allah, dan nilai-nilai kebaikan universal. Pendidikan Islam memiliki tugas penting untuk menjaga, mengarahkan, dan mengembangkan potensi fitrah ini sehingga manusia dapat mencapai kesempurnaan moral, spiritual, dan intelektual. Namun, di tengah dinamika sosial, budaya, dan teknologi yang terus berubah, pendidikan Islam perlu mengadopsi pendekatan progresif yang adaptif, kreatif, dan berbasis solusi. Artikel ini menganalisis bagaimana integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan metode pendidikan progresif dapat menghasilkan individu yang tidak hanya berakhlak mulia, tetapi juga mampu bersaing di era globalisasi. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan Islam yang progresif merupakan kunci untuk membangun generasi unggul yang mampu menjawab tantangan zaman tanpa kehilangan identitas keislamannya. Rekomendasi praktis diberikan untuk merancang sistem pendidikan Islam yang holistik, relevan, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum, implemented nationally since 2022, is viewed as not fully meeting the needs of Islamic education, which prioritizes the development of students’ spiritual, moral, and practical character. In the Madrasah context, a curriculum model is required that more explicitly integrates values of compassion, empathy, and love for God, fellow human beings, and the environment. Responding to this gap, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia introduced the Love Curriculum as an alternative and corrective initiative to strengthen the value-based dimensions that are considered lacking in the Independent Curriculum.This article aims to analyze the implementation of the Love Curriculum as a substitute for the Independent Curriculum in Madrasah. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, involving interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis in selected educational institutions that have begun adopting the curriculum. The results indicate that the Love Curriculum effectively revitalizes the humanistic and transformative essence of Islamic education and contributes to the development of students’ noble character, social sensitivity, and spiritual awareness. Nonetheless, its implementation faces several challenges, including teacher readiness, the integration of values into lesson plans, and the monitoring of classroom practice. Therefore, continuous professional development and supportive policies are recommended to ensure the Love Curriculum becomes embedded in the learning culture of Madrasah in a consistent and sustainable manner

Abstract

This article aims to examine the role of Islamic education based on fiqh in enhancing the quality of learning and shaping individuals who are intellectually, morally, and spiritually competent, as well as capable of facing the challenges of globalization while adhering to Islamic values. The research method employed in this study is descriptive qualitative. Education is a lifelong process that develops individuals to live meaningfully and sustain life. The role of fiqh in education, particularly at the madrasa level, is crucial in equipping students with knowledge and understanding of Islamic teachings, especially regarding worship and morality. Through comprehensive and holistic learning, Islamic education seeks to cultivate well-rounded individuals (insan kamil) who are not only successful in worldly matters but also attain eternal happiness in the hereafter, while preparing the younger generation to confront the challenges of modern times without losing their identity or Islamic values.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk kesadaran sosial peserta didik di tengah realitas masyarakat yang multikultural. Namun, dalam praktiknya, pendidikan Islam masih kerap dipahami secara normatif dan eksklusif sehingga kurang responsif terhadap dinamika keberagaman sosial, budaya, dan keagamaan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi nilai-nilai multikulturalisme dalam pendidikan Islam sebagai upaya memperkuat sikap toleran, adil, dan inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis buku-buku primer dan artikel jurnal yang relevan dengan tema kajian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai multikulturalisme dalam pendidikan Islam mencakup toleransi dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, keadilan dan kesetaraan, serta dialog dan sikap inklusif yang memiliki landasan teologis dan filosofis yang kuat dalam ajaran Islam. Integrasi nilai-nilai tersebut dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan kurikulum yang kontekstual, proses pembelajaran yang dialogis dan partisipatif, serta budaya dan lingkungan lembaga pendidikan yang inklusif. Meskipun menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti paradigma eksklusif dan keterbatasan kompetensi pendidik, pendidikan Islam memiliki peluang besar untuk menjadi agen transformasi sosial dalam membangun masyarakat yang damai dan berkeadaban.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial aspect in shaping ethical, responsible, and socially aware individuals within society. In today’s digital era, the process of instilling character education has become increasingly complex due to rapid technological advancements that significantly influence students’ behavior, learning patterns, and social interactions. Digital technology has transformed the educational landscape by providing easier access to information and new learning opportunities, but it has also introduced challenges such as excessive use of social media, exposure to negative or inappropriate content, declining interpersonal communication, and shifts in moral values among students.This article discusses various efforts to strengthen character education among students in the digital era. The discussion covers the fundamental concept of character education as an essential component of holistic education, the challenges posed by the digital age, and effective strategies for character development. The strategies emphasized include moral knowing, which focuses on providing students with an understanding of moral values; moral loving, which aims to develop emotional attachment and care toward those values; and moral acting, which encourages the consistent practice of character values in daily life.In addition, this article explores the role of educators in implementing character education through exemplary behavior, limiting students’ excessive indulgence in digital activities, fostering positive teacher–student relationships, applying learning methods suited to students’ needs, and monitoring students’ social and digital environments. Abstract

Islamic education, when viewed through the perspective of fiqh, emphasizes not only the transfer of knowledge but also the internalization of Sharia-based values derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah. This study addresses the current challenges in Islamic education, where practices often focus on cognitive and ritualistic aspects without adequately integrating fiqh as a normative-ethical foundation. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this research explores the principles of Islamic educational values grounded in fiqh, highlighting their ethical, cognitive, and moral dimensions. The findings indicate that fiqh serves as a comprehensive framework for shaping students’ character, promoting moral excellence, social responsibility, and the pursuit of both worldly and spiritual well-being. The study also demonstrates that embedding fiqh principles into curricula enhances moderation, inclusivity, and responsiveness to contemporary societal challenges. By positioning fiqh as both a source of knowledge and an ethical foundation, Islamic education can function as a transformative vehicle, preparing students to act constructively and responsibly within modern society. This research contributes conceptually by offering a systematic mapping of fiqh-based educational principles, providing guidance for curriculum development, pedagogical strategies, and character formation in contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

This article aims to examine in depth the concept of religious tolerance and its implementation as a pillar of harmony in the life of a multicultural society. The discussion focused on the definition of tolerance according to experts, tolerance from the perspective of religion and the state, the concept of a multicultural society, and forms of implementation of religious tolerance in daily life. In addition, this paper also discusses the challenges faced in the implementation of religious tolerance and the efforts that can be made to strengthen tolerance in a pluralistic society. The writing method used in this article is a literature study method, which is by examining and analyzing various relevant literature sources, such as scientific books, journals, laws and regulations, and official documents related to tolerance, multiculturalism, and religious life in Indonesia. This approach is used to gain a comprehensive theoretical and conceptual understanding of tolerance The implementation of religious tolerance in people's lives can be realized through various forms of real behavior, such as respecting the implementation of other religious worship, not imposing beliefs, establishing interfaith cooperation in social activities, maintaining attitudes and speech so as not to offend followers of other religions, and using social media wisely. The implementation of tolerance in daily life also requires dialogue between religious communities, deliberation in resolving differences, and the active role of educational institutions, families, and the government in instilling the values of tolerance from an early age. Abstract

Teachers hold a strategic position in Islamic education, not only as transmitters of knowledge but also as shapers of students’ morals and character. From the perspective of Islamic educational fiqh, the relationship between teachers and students is not merely pedagogical but also encompasses legal, moral, and spiritual dimensions. This article aims to examine teachers’ rights and obligations from the perspective of Islamic educational fiqh and their relevance to contemporary educational practice. This study employs a library research method by analyzing classical fiqh sources, the Qur’an, hadith, and contemporary Islamic education literature. The findings indicate that Islamic educational fiqh emphasizes a balance between the fulfillment of teachers’ rights, both material and non-material, and the implementation of teachers’ obligations, which include professional, moral, and spiritual aspects. This balance constitutes a fundamental principle in creating an educational system that is just, dignified, and oriented toward the formation of morally upright individuals. Therefore, an understanding of Islamic educational fiqh regarding teachers’ rights and obligations can serve as a normative foundation for strengthening teachers’ professionalism and protection in the modern era. Abstract

Fiqh mu‘amalah is an essential component of Islamic teachings that regulates social and economic relations based on the principles of justice, honesty, and moral responsibility. In the educational context, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, fiqh mu‘amalah has strategic potential to shape students’ social ethics so that they are able to interact with dignity amid the dynamics of modern life. This article aims to examine the concept of internalizing fiqh mu‘amalah in PAI learning and its relevance to strengthening students’ social ethics. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing literature on fiqh mu‘āmalah, Islamic education, and contemporary studies on social ethics. The findings indicate that the internalization of fiqh mu‘amalah values in PAI learning can be implemented through curriculum integration, contextual learning methods, and teachers’ role modeling. Values such as honesty, justice, trustworthiness, and social responsibility are highly relevant in strengthening students’ social ethics in their daily lives. Therefore, PAI learning that internalizes fiqh mu‘āmalah is not merely oriented toward cognitive mastery but also plays an effective role in shaping ethical social behavior grounded in Islamic values.
