Abstract

Unemployed youth due to the Covid-19 pandemic continues to grow, this is a problem because youth are unemployed. This unemployment problem is very important to pay attention to because unemployment has the potential to cause various crimes (involved in narcotics) and social unrest, and poverty. Economic factors that are very worrying for unemployed youth are a problem in getting education and assistance as well as business capital in conducting superior free-range chicken farming. The method used in this service, the methods used in this counseling activity are: 1. Delivering the material that has been prepared with the question and answer method 2. After giving a motivational lecture to deepen the material that has been delivered, it is followed by a discussion on the care of superior free-range chickens 3. Giving business capital in the form of chicken seeds, feed vaccines and medicines for the treatment of superior native chickens, 4. provide training on how to ferment bran feed. The results obtained in this service are through mentoring, providing business capital and training for young people to have skills and knowledge about superior free-range chickens so that they can reduce the number of unemployed by starting a business of raising superior free-range chickens and creating jobs for themselves. Upgrade. The conclusion in this service is that the process of empowering unemployed youth through training assistance and business capital can improve their economic standard and quality of life by pioneering the business of raising superior free-range chickens and being able to assist other youths in raising superior free-range chickens.Keywords: Empowerment, Unemployed Youth, Superior Village Chicken

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the role of the Empowerment Office Women and Child Protection of Makassar City in Realizing The fulfillment of children's rights is seen from the role as coordinator, facilitator, and Stimulator. This type of research is qualitative which is descriptive with Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that the role of the Empowerment Office Women and Child Protection Still Not Good. Especially on indicators from The role of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office as The coordinator is strategic prevention and protection of the fulfillment of children's rights It hasn't completely gone well, that is, there are still some children who experiencing conflicts, not going to school or dropping out, not being recorded, and Untouched by the Government.Keywords: Makassar, Women, dan Children

Abstract

Ornamental plants are plants that are in great demand these days because of their beauty and attractiveness. Ornamental plants are an important aspect because they are able to maintain environmental health, the more ornamental plants the better it is also to beautify the environment. In this research, a determination process is carried out to determine the health of ornamental plants, one of which is Bougenville Flower or commonly referred to as paper flower, which is an ornamental plant whose existence is quite popular among the public and is widely spread in various regions in Indonesia. The method used in this research is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to rank alternatives. The criteria used are 3 namely air temperature, air humidity, and soil pH, while the alternatives used are 10 paper flower ornamental plants with the aim of ranking the best or healthy paper flower plants from the samples tested. Implementation with the SAW method produces recommendations for paper flower ornamental plants, namely A3 or paper flower 3 accompanied by the results of ranking values with a value of 0.992 which is the highest value compared to other alternatives. This research has also been calculated using Confusion Matrix with an accuracy test result of 60%.

Abstract

Data from the Indonesian Health Profile in 2022 shows that 41,081 cases of typhoid and paratyphoid fever sufferers were hospitalized in hospitals with a death rate of 279 cases (Ministry of Health, 2022). Several factors play a role in the incidence of typhoid fever, including: environmental factors, knowledge, attitudes and actions. According to the Ministry of Health in 2022, feces disposal, clean water facilities, food sanitation, personal hygiene, the habit of snacking or eating outside the home, as well as a history of typhoid fever in the family is a factor that is thought to be involved in the incidence of typhoid fever. The population in this study were all children aged 5 to 14 years who were diagnosed with typhoid fever and treated in the pediatric ward from January to June 2024, totaling 67 cases. A sample is a part of a population that has certain characteristics or conditions to be studied. The sampling technique used in this research was Total Sampling, namely the entire population was used as a sample, namely 67 cases. This research is analytical with a cross sectional design with data processing methods using Editing, Coding, Tabulating and Entry. The results of the chi-square statistical test between knowledge and the incidence of Typhoid Fever in children obtained a p value (0.002) < α (0.05), meaning that H0 was rejected, and Ha, accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of Typhoid Fever. at Dr. Hospital. Fauziah. It is hoped that Dr. Fauziah Bireuen Regency As a measure to prevent typhoid fever in children, Dr. Hospital. Fauziah Bireuen Regency was advised to improve health education programs for parents about the importance of sanitation, food hygiene and vaccination.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of intellectual capital, institutional ownership and leverage on financial performance in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The Financial Performance of Banking Companies is measured using Return on Equity (ROE) as the main indicator. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the annual reports of banking companies listed on the IDX during the 2019-2022 period through the website www.idx.co.id. The analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of the study simultaneously show a significant, which means that intellectual capital, institutional ownership and leverage simultaneously affect the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The results of the study partially show a significant, which means that intellectual capital and institutional ownership have a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of banking companies, while leverage has a negative and significant effect on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. It is expected that further research can use other independent variables, such as liquidity and company size with different observation periods.

Abstract

The role of organizational culture in improving student academic achievement in schools. The research method used involved an analysis of the literature and previous studies highlighting the relationship between organizational culture and academic achievement. The results of the analysis show that building and strengthening organizational culture, such as a clear vision and mission of the school, effective leadership, open communication, community participation, and reward and recognition systems, contribute significantly to improving students' academic achievement. The references used in this article support the importance of a healthy organizational culture in creating a high-achieving and enjoyable learning environment for every student. The implications of these findings emphasize the need for schools to prioritize building a strong organizational culture to improve overall student academic achievement.

Abstract

Planning effective English reading lessons is a complex task for teachers because of challenges such as variations in student ability levels, limited resources, and time constraints. This research aims to identify the main challenges teachers face in planning reading lessons, including improving students' reading comprehension, adjusting the level of support to students' abilities, and implementing reading strategies. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection through semi-structured interviews with teachers from various levels of education. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify main patterns and themes. The research results show that teachers face challenges in managing the diversity of students' reading abilities, selecting reading materials that are interesting and culturally relevant, and integrating technology into learning. Additionally, appropriate assessments for English Language Learners (ELL) students and the need to provide emotional support to students are also challenges. Limited professional training and resources contribute to this situation. This research also concludes that successful learning to read English requires a multifaceted approach that includes learning adjustments, teacher training, collaboration, and access to a variety of reading materials. By providing adequate support for teachers, these obstacles can be overcome, so that reading learning becomes more effective and inclusive.

Abstract

This research examines the contextualization of the concept of nusyūz in marriage law in Indonesia and the implications for its resolution regarding the act of beating through a discourse analysis approach. The main focus of the research is to analyze how the interpretation and application of the concept of nusyūz originating from Islamic law is adapted in the context of modern Indonesian marriage law, especially regarding the "beating" solution mentioned in classical texts. Using critical discourse analysis methods, this research explores how discourse about nusyūz is formed and interpreted in various legal texts, fiqh literature, and judicial practices in Indonesia. The research results show a shift in the interpretation of the nusyūz concept from a textual to a contextual understanding that is more in line with the principles of gender equality and human rights. Research finds that "beating" solutions need to be recontextualized with more constructive approaches such as mediation and marriage counseling. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahaui dan menganalisis pengalaman subyektif dan pandangan dari para pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih kaya tentang realitas sehari-hari dalam penerapan praktik akuntansi dan pengelolaan keuangan pada UMKM berbasis halal. Pendekatan fenomenologi dipilih untuk penelitian ini karena peneliti untuk memahami pengalaman subyektif dan pandangan para pelaku UMKM. Melalui wawancara mendalam dan analisis tematik, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih kaya tentang realitas sehari-hari dalam mengelola praktik akuntansi dan keuangan pada UMKM berbasis halal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Di antara UMKM, usaha mikro berbasis halal menunjukkan perkembangan yang signifikan seiring dengan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya produk dan jasa yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Hal ini mencakup berbagai sektor seperti makanan dan minuman, kosmetik, usaha dagang. Meskipun demikian, banyak usaha mikro berbasis halal yang menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan akuntansi dan keuangan. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang akuntansi dan keterbatasan sumber daya sering kali menjadi kendala dalam menjalankan praktik akuntansi yang efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, banyak pelaku usaha mikro yang masih menggunakan metode pencatatan keuangan kurang terstruktur, yang dapat mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan bisnis dan keberlanjutan usaha mereka.Praktik akuntansi yang baik sangat penting bagi keberhasilan usaha, karena dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang kondisi keuangan, mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik Kata Kunci: Praktik Akuntansi, Pengelolaan Keuangan, Keberlanjutan Usaha Halal.

Abstract

Desa Sidodadi merupakan daerah yang berdekatan dengan sungai, sehingga sering terjadi banjir setiap tahun. Bencana banjir memiliki dampak yang berpengaruh terhadap bangunan dan penduduk, seperti menganggu mata pencaharian, dan berbagai kegiatan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi sserta menentukan tingkat kerusakan yang terjadi pada rumah permanen yang terdampak banjir. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pihak Aparatur Desa Sidodadi dan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner kepada masyarakat yang rumahnya terdampak banjir. Hasil wawancara diperoleh 6 jenis kerusakan, meliputi : kerusakan dingding, lantai, kusen pintu,kusen jendela, kolom, dan sloof. Hasil perhitungan tingkat kerusakan terhadap rumah permanen yang terdampak banjir diperoleh nilai kerusakan pada dinding dan lantai presentase severity index (SI) berada pada rentang12,5% - 37,5% termasuk kedalam kategori tidak parah. Kerusakan pada dinding dan lantai tidak terlalu serius dan dapat diperbaiki dengan cara sederhana tanpa memerlukan renovasi besar. Sedangkan tingkat kerusakan pada kusen pintu,kusen jendela, kolom, dan sloof presentase nilai severity index (SI) berada pada rentang 0,00% - 12,5% termasuk kategori sangat tidak parah.  kerusakan pada bagain struktur ini hanya tergenang banjir saja.
