Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman awal kepada siswa SMK mengenai pentingnya keamanan produksi dan teknik pengemasan produk dalam mendukung pengembangan UMKM yang berdaya saing. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 4 Penajam Paser Utara dengan pendekatan edukatif melalui penyampaian materi interaktif yang mencakup enam topik utama: pentingnya keamanan produksi, dasar-dasar keamanan produksi, keamanan dalam pengemasan, penulisan informasi pada kemasan, aspek legal dan regulasi, serta evaluasi dan monitoring kualitas. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur efektivitas penyampaian materi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa terhadap aspek-aspek krusial dalam produksi dan pengemasan produk UMKM, terutama dari tiga jurusan yaitu Kuliner, Desain Komunikasi Visual, dan Desain Produksi Busana. Antusiasme peserta selama kegiatan menjadi indikator positif keberhasilan pendekatan yang digunakan. Kegiatan ini memberikan fondasi penting bagi siswa sebagai calon pelaku UMKM agar mampu menghasilkan produk yang aman, berkualitas, dan memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan suatu permainan dengan tema mempromosikan pola hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS). Sasaran pengguna dari permainan ini adalah anak-anak dan remaja. Akan tetapi, permainan ini juga dapat dimainkan oleh orang dewasa. Dalam penelitian ini, tim peneliti mempertimbangkan keadaan pandemi yang tengah melanda tidak hanya di Palangka Raya, namun juga diseluruh kota di dunia. Sebab itu, dalam merancang permainan ini, tim penulis melakukan observasi dan studi literatur terkait virus dan pola hidup bersih. Dalam perancangan objek gambar, tim peneliti bekerja sama dengan pihak ketiga, juru gambar. Setelah itu tim mengolah data-data yang telah dikumpulkan agar dapat membuat permainan yang telah direncanakan. Hasil akhir penelitian yang berupa permainan, dengan judul “Ayo Lawan Virus” disebarluaskan kepada masyarakat secara gratis. Hal ini merupakan bentuk sumbangsih tim peneliti dan STMIK Palangkaraya untuk mengedukasi masyarakat agar terbiasa menjalankan pola hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS). Kata kunci : game platformer, unity game engine, edukasi hidup sehat Abstract This study aimed to create a game with the theme of promoting a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS). The target users of this game are children and teenagers. However, this game can also be played by adults. In this study, the research team considered the current state of the pandemic, not only in Palangka Raya, but also in all cities in the world. Therefore, in designing this game, the author's team conducted observations and literature studies related to viruses and a clean lifestyle. In designing the drawing object, the research team collaborated with a third party, the draftsman. After that the team processed the data that had been collected in order to make the planned game. The final result of the research in the form of a game, entitled "Let's Fight Virus" is distributed to the public for free. This is a form of contribution from the research team and STMIK Palangkaraya to educate the public to get used to running a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS). Abstract

This qualitative study examines the role of parents in character building of children in Tassililu Village, Sinjai Regency, post-COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the study show that although children in Tassililu Village are able to perform religious activities such as praying and reading the Qur'an, and are able to distinguish between good and bad, they still need intensive guidance from their parents in terms of religiosity, discipline, and responsibility. Many children need extra encouragement to carry out their religious activities and duties, and often forget their responsibilities even though they are sometimes able to do homework without being asked. The role of parents as the first and main madrasah for children is very crucial in character building. Parents act as educators, motivators, role models, supervisors, and counselors for their children. Without adequate guidance from parents, children are at risk of having poor or even damaged character. Analysis of supporting and inhibiting factors for character building of children post-COVID-19 in Tassililu Village identified several things. Early habituation, encouragement from parents, and a supportive environment are significant supporting factors. On the other hand, parents' busyness and limited time, the negative influence of digital technology, and a less conducive environment are the main inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, collecting data through observation, in-depth interviews with parents and children, and documentation. These findings highlight the importance of the active role of parents and the environment in building good character in children, especially in the context of post-COVID-19 pandemic challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product innovation and service quality on customer satisfaction at Islamic banks in Indonesia. The main issue in this study relates to the importance of developing relevant service and product strategies in increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty in the increasingly competitive Islamic banking sector. The approach used is quantitative with descriptive design. Primary data were collected through the distribution of Likert scale questionnaires to 100 randomly selected respondents. The independent variables consist of product innovation (X?) and service quality (X?), while the dependent variable is customer satisfaction (Y). The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 22. The results showed that both product innovation and service quality have a significant influence on customer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. Simultaneously, the two variables explain 74.7% of the variation in customer satisfaction. The findings confirm the importance of product renewal and service quality improvement as key strategies in strengthening the position of Islamic banks in Indonesia.

Abstract

Learning Arabic is one of the important subjects that must be understood and mastered by students, especially for those who study in Islamic-based educational institutions. One such institution is Islamic elementary school 2 Makassar, where many students still struggle to master Arabic vocabulary. To address this issue, the researcher offers the Pop-Up Book as a learning aid. A Pop-Up Book is a type of book featuring three-dimensional visual displays that are attractive and interactive. This medium is expected to help students understand and memorize mufrodat more easily through engaging 3D visualizations. This study aims to obtain data on the implementation of the Pop-Up Book media in improving the mastery of Arabic mufrodat among fifth-grade students of class V.C at MIN 2 Makassar. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. The researcher selected the students of class V.C at MIN 2 Makassar as the research subjects. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. The research results showed an improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery after implementing the Pop-Up Book media. The average student score in Cycle I was 78.52, with 18 students (64.28%) passing and 10 students (35.71%) not passing. In Cycle II, the average score increased to 85.71, with 24 students (85.71%) passing and 4 students (14.28%) not passing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of Pop-Up Book as a learning medium can improve the Arabic vocabulary mastery of fifth-grade students in class V.C at MIN 2 Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini mengkaji keefektifan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII G SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Selatan, Takalar. Penelitian yang melibatkan 32 siswa ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan dan empat tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan setelah penerapan model Picture and Picture. Pada tahap prasiklus, nilai rata-rata hanya 63,34 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 25%. Setelah siklus I, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 76,06 (ketuntasan 53,12%), dan pada siklus II mencapai 85,03 (ketuntasan 84,37%). Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Picture and Picture efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang cukup besar baik pada nilai rata-rata maupun persentase siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi positif bagi penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif dan visual untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran agama di sekolah. Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengkaji penerapan model ini pada mata pelajaran dan jenjang kelas lainnya.

Abstract

Makassar merupakan kota metropolitan yang mempunyai posisi strategis dengan kondisi perekonomian yang berkembang pesat seiring dengan masuknya Era Persaingan Pasar Bebas yang dikenal dengan MEA. Kota Makassar, Khususnya Kelurahan Paccerakkang yang memiliki beberapa orang yang menggeluti kerajinan ini. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan akan memberikan solusi bagi mitra Kelompok usaha kerajinan tali temali talikur Kelurahan Paccerakkang, dalam rangka peningkatan daya saing produk dengan penerapan IPTEKS. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah kualitas produk diketahui bahwa produk kerajinan ini masih terlihat tidak rapih, hanya memiliki 1 jenis motif, kualitas tali yang rendah, dan jenis tas yang hanya 1 jenis saja yakni tas untuk jalan-jalan saja dan yang paling penting adalah belum adanya ciri khas bugis makassar.Metode Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini memakai metode partisifatif yakni mengikutkan sebanyak mungkin peran serta mitra teradap kegiatan yang dilakukan melalui metode diskusi,cerama, dserta praktik. Adapun rencana pelaksanaan kegiatan dan evaluasi program ini terbagi menjadi 2 yaitu persiapan pelaksanaan kegiatan dan evaluasi kegiatan dan rencana anggaran kegiatan.Target Luaran dari pelatihan kerajinan tali temali (macrame talikur) ini agar nantinya bisa menghasilkan produk berupa tas terbuat dari talikur yang awalnya biasa saja yang akhirnya bernuansa Bugis Makassar sehingga nantinya bisa dipasarkan baik lokal, nasional.

Abstract

In 1992, the Indonesian government launched the Village Unit Cooperative (KUD) initiative to develop rural economies through Law Number 25 of 1992 on Cooperatives. However, KUD faced various challenges that hindered its ability to achieve its goal of improving rural community welfare. Regulatory changes beginning with Law Number 22 of 1999 on Regional Government, followed by Law 32/2004, Law 23/2014, and Law 6/2014 on Villages, led to the establishment of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) as a new solution for rural economic development. This article explores the policy transformation from KUD to BUMDes and analyzes the effectiveness of the Job Creation Law and Government Regulation on BUMDes in strengthening BUMDes as a tool for village empowerment. The research methodology employed is a literature review encompassing legal documents, books, and scholarly articles. The findings reveal that the Job Creation Law and Government Regulation on BUMDes provide a more solid legal foundation for BUMDes by clarifying its legal status, defining its capital structure, and granting the authority to establish business units. The article also discusses relevant economic theories such as institutional theory, inclusive economic theory, and community-based development theory, as well as challenges and solutions in BUMDes development. Recommendations for BUMDes development include strengthening managerial capacity, improving access to capital, and devising business development strategies that focus on operational efficiency and community participation. The study concludes that BUMDes has significant potential to support local economic development and rural community welfare through more effective and participatory policies.

Abstract

The South Sea pearl industry in Mataram is a vital component of the region's creative economy, contributing to local livelihoods and economic growth. Despite its potential, the industry faces challenges such as limited technological adoption, inadequate branding strategies, and fragmented regulatory support, which hinder its global competitiveness and investment appeal. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the pearl industry in Mataram and propose strategies for sustainable growth and investment. A descriptive qualitative methodology was employed, utilizing secondary data from academic literature, government reports, and market analyses. The findings highlight the critical role of technological innovation, strategic branding, regulatory reforms, and socio-economic inclusion in enhancing the industry’s performance. The integration of the pearl industry with the tourism sector is identified as a key opportunity for diversification and increased revenue generation. The study underscores the importance of adopting modern production techniques, digital marketing strategies, and inclusive policies to unlock the industry's potential. These insights offer valuable guidance for stakeholders and policymakers, positioning the South Sea pearl industry in Mataram as a model for sustainable development in creative economies. Future research should focus on primary data collection and innovative practices to further advance the field.

Abstract

Background : Cancer is one of the chronic diseases that not only affects physical conditions, but also causes severe psychological stress. One of them is anxiety, anxiety in cancer patients can arise from receiving a diagnosis, during treatment, to facing the uncertainty of the prognosis. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the coping mechanism and the level of anxiety in cancer patients. Methods: This study was conducted quantitatively with a cross sectional approach using questionnaires to measure coping mechanisms and anxiety levels, this study involved 60 cancer patients undergoing treatment in hospitals. Results: The results of the analysis showed that most respondents (36.7%) used adaptive coping mechanisms but still experienced mild to severe anxiety. The Chi-Square test showed a weak association between coping mechanisms and anxiety levels (p = 0.004) suggesting that regardless of the relationship, adaptive coping has not been fully effective in lowering anxiety. Conclusion: Researchers recommend the development of educational programs and psychological assistance to address anxiety and can explore other factors that may affect cancer patients' anxiety.
