Abstract

In this 21st century, there is a lack of learning design in schools related to technology. A strategy is needed to face the challenges of the ever-growing technological era. The urgency of this research is because many students are not ready to face technology-based learning, so the purpose of this study is to evaluate holistically, strategies, social and collaborative skills of students. The research method used is quantitative with a survey type. The research population is high school students, with a sample of 560 students taken using the stratified random sampling method from five schools. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing surveys using the Google Forms link. The data analysis technique with descriptive statistics assisted by SPSS Version 29.0 and paired t-test. The results found that technology-based learning design was able to increase student motivation and engagement. The conclusion of this study is that the transformation of 21st century learning design is a must before learning is carried out with a design that equips students to be ready to face global challenges. Implications, encourage educators to be more active in implementing innovative learning method designs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Furqon Koli Petung pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 siswa kelas VIII. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Peningkatan terlihat dari hasil lembar aktivitas siswa, di mana pada siklus I, 45% siswa berada pada kategori "Sedang," dan pada siklus II, 80% siswa mencapai kategori "Sangat Tinggi." Nilai rata-rata siswa juga meningkat dari 62,67 pada pra-siklus (ketuntasan 26,66%) menjadi 72,67 pada siklus I (ketuntasan 53,33%), dan mencapai 85,33 pada siklus II (ketuntasan 93,33%). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Group Investigation efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MTs Al-Furqon Koli Petung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan metode STIFIn dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik khususnya kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab serta mengkaji faktor yang menghambat penerapan metode STIFIn dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar Alam Insan Kamil Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, berupaya mengungkapkan kajian tentang penerapan STIFIn serta hambatan yang ditemukan di lapangan. Informasi diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab model penilaian karakter pada peserta didik untuk semua tipe mesin kecerdasan sebagian besar sudah berada pada hasil penilaian karakter (M) Membudaya, artinya metode yang digunakan sudah cukup efektif terutama pada proses pendampingan oleh pendidik, dalam mendukung perkembangan karakter anak di sekolah. Adapun hambatan yang didapatkan berupa masalah pelatihan yang belum secara menyeluruh diikuti, masalah jarak sekolah, keterlambatan, pergaulan anak disekitar rumah dapat diatasi dengan pendekatan yang diberikan pendidik kepada peserta didik melalui metode STIFin walaupun diantaranya ada yang menjadi pertimbangan internal untuk dapat diatasi secara cepat oleh pihak sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara asesmen Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) dengan implementasi kurikulum holistik dalam konteks pendidikan dasar. Kurikulum holistik menekankan pada pengembangan siswa secara menyeluruh, mencakup aspek intelektual, emosional, sosial, dan fisik. Melalui pendekatan ini, pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada penguasaan materi tetapi juga pada pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan analisis dokumen kurikulum serta asesmen IPAS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa asesmen IPAS yang dirancang secara holistik dapat mendukung pencapaian tujuan kurikulum holistik dengan menilai pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap siswa secara menyeluruh. Asesmen yang bervariasi, termasuk proyek, eksperimen, dan tugas kelompok, memungkinkan penilaian yang lebih komprehensif dan relevan dengan kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi asesmen IPAS dalam kurikulum holistik dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan membantu siswa mengembangkan pemahaman yang mendalam dan keterampilan yang relevan untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Rekomendasi praktis meliputi pengembangan asesmen yang lebih inovatif dan relevan serta pelatihan guru untuk mengimplementasikan asesmen holistik secara efektif.

Abstract

Students' self-confidence and learning achievement are two important aspects of education. This research aims to examine the role of peers in increasing students' self-confidence and learning achievement in Jambi City, Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The research sample consisted of 350 senior high school students in Jambi City who were selected by random sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using structural equation modeling partial least squares (SEM-PLS). The results of SEM-PLS analysis show that peers have a positive and significant influence on students' self-confidence (β = 0.45, p < 0.001). Apart from that, self-confidence also has a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement (β = 0.38, p < 0.001). Peers also have an indirect influence on learning achievement through self-confidence. Peers play an important role in increasing students' self-confidence and learning achievement in Jambi City. Interventions involving peers can be an effective strategy to improve both aspects.

Abstract

This community service activity, which is a form of higher education tridharma obligation, aims to increase the professionalism and competence of teachers/teachers at the Junior High School (SMP) level in the city of Palangka Raya. The material presented in this community service activity is in the form of various interactive and interesting learning methods in teaching in English and making interactive learning media with the Microsoft PowerPoint application. This service activity was carried out on Saturday, February 03, 2024 at the STMIK Palangkaraya campus hall. The target of this community service activity is the teachers/teachers of Junior High Schools (SMP) in the city of Palangka Raya. The method of this activity uses the form of presentations and training which are then followed by discussions between participants and presenters. The costs for this community service activity are fully sourced from STMIK Palangkaraya through the Research, Publication and Community Service Unit (UP3M). The results of this community service can be concluded that the activity participants gained additional knowledge to further enhance their respective professionalism and competence

Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of validity of digital media for vocabulary learning using Thunkable, identify the level of practicality of using media in vocabulary learning, and identify students' responses to the use of media in vocabulary teaching. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model and has five stages namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, and to collect data this research uses observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of this study are: the validity value of the material and language expert is 90% and the method expert is 88%, this shows that digital media using Thunkable is valid and can be used in vocabulary learning, then the usage value of the Arabic teacher is 88%, based on this data that this method is practical to be used by teachers in teaching vocabulary, and the student response value is 92.5%, based on this data that the student response to the use of this digital media is good.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that, in the learning process, many students remain passive and have yet to fully grasp the material. Reflective thinking skills are still relatively low, while educators continue to rely on conventional teaching models, predominantly using the lecture method. Furthermore, the learning media employed have not been fully adapted to students’ needs. The aim of this research is to determine the level of students' reflective thinking skills and their responses to these abilities. This study adopts a descriptive quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving two experimental groups treated in the same manner. The population consists of Year 4 students, divided into two classes. Data were collected through observation, pre-test and post-test assessments, and questionnaires. Based on the findings, the average score in Experimental Class 1 was 0.61, while Experimental Class 2 obtained 0.45. From this, it can be concluded that the use of the Problem-Based Learning model, incorporating Augmented Reality as a learning medium, has an impact on reflective thinking skills in the topic of energy transformation in Year 4 primary school students. The response towards reflective thinking was positive. The implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model alongside Augmented Reality proved effective in fostering a positive reflective thinking attitude. Students demonstrated great enthusiasm in learning, and their curiosity regarding various problems increased. Consequently, they were able to provide responses and solutions to issues presented within the topic of energy transformation.

Abstract

Reflective Thinking Skills are important for students to have. However, in reality, learning of Social Sciences on Digestive Organs Material has not implemented Reflective Thinking skills because it is still constrained in reading and reasoning is still lacking, especially if students are faced with problems related to thinking skills. In this learning, the lecture and question and answer methods are still used so that the learning process is still centered on the teacher and students are less active. This study aims to determine how the influence of the PBL Model Using Pop Up Book media on students' Reflective Thinking skills on the material of human digestive organs of grade V students and How the Response of Students' Reflective Thinking skills after the implementation of learning. This study uses a Quantitative Descriptive research method implemented at SDN SEDATI GEDE II Sidoarjo. The data collection instruments used in this study were Pretest-Postest and Student Reflective Thinking Response Questionnaire, The results showed an average N-Gain in experimental class 1 (V-A) of 0.82 with a high category. And in experimental class 2 (V-B) an N-Gain value of 0.72 was obtained with a high category. The difference is caused by the level of student understanding, as well as student readiness in capturing learning. While the results of the Reflective Thinking Response of experimental class 1 (V-A) were 76% and class (V-B) were 67%. The conclusion of this study shows that there is an influence of Reflective Thinking using the PBL learning model. It is hoped that students will get used to solving the problems they face. This is supported by the results of the Pre-post test and the results of the Reflective Thinking Response. Thus, learning becomes more active and interesting for students.
