Abstract

This research aims to determine the validity and practicality of local wisdom-based learning e-modules in class 3 flat building material. This e-module was developed as additionsl contsining local wisdom and is equipped with videos and quizzes. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE type development model used. Data on the validity and practicality of e-modules were obtained from questionnaire instrumentsin the form of media and material expert validation questionnaires, as well as student and educator response questionnaires. The results of the media validation data analysis were 84% and the material validation percentage was 78.58%, so the product was in the valid category. Data on the practicality percentage of e-module is 93,89% from the questionnaire responses from students and 82.5% from educators, so it is in the practical category. These results show that the local wisdom-based learning e-modue on class 3 flat building material developed is declared valid and practical to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning model on students' critical thinking skills in learning science class IV SDN 41 Ampenan. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with the time series design. The population used in this study was all grade IV students of SDN 41 Ampenan totaling 32 people, who then became all members of the research sample so that they used a saturated sampling technique. The data collection instruments used in this study are in the form of description test sheets and observation sheets for the implementation of learning. Hypothesis testing uses a paired sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the t-test obtained a significance value of 0.00, meaning that what was submitted was rejected and accepted. So that the results of this study can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model affects students' critical thinking skills in learning science science class IV SDN 41 Ampenan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning motivation through the application of Kahoot-based interactive learning media in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for class VIII of SMP Islam Al-Wasi', Maros Regency. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model consisting of two cycles, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 32 class VIII students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively descriptively and quantitatively using average and percentage calculations. The results showed that the application of Kahoot-based interactive learning media was able to increase student learning motivation. In Cycle I, the results of observations of learning motivation reached a percentage of 82.50% with a good category, then increased in Cycle II to 91.25% with a very good category. The increase in learning motivation has an impact on student learning outcomes. The average value of learning outcomes increased from 41.25 in the pre-cycle stage to 79.06 in Cycle I, then increased again to 86.56 in Cycle II. The percentage of learning completion also increased from 0% in the pre-cycle to 65.63% in Cycle I and 90.63% in Cycle II, thus exceeding the research success indicator, namely at least 80% of students achieving the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of Kahoot-based interactive learning media is effective in increasing student learning motivation which has a positive impact on improving learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for class VIII of SMP Islam Al-Wasi', Maros Regency. Kahoot media can be used as an innovative, interactive, and fun learning alternative to improve the quality of the learning process.
