Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Small Group Discussion dalam membentuk kompetensi critical thinking dan communication peserta didik, serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat keberhasilan metode ini dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode penelitian lapangan (field research). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan metode Small Group Discussion di SMPN 1 VII Koto Sungai Sariak telah berkontribusi positif dalam membentuk kemampuan critical thinking dan communication skills siswa, meskipun masih menghadapi tantangan. Guru telah merancang pembelajaran berbasis kolaborasi, namun tujuan yang kurang spesifik dan panduan diskusi yang belum terstruktur menjadi hambatan. Metode ini meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi masalah dan menyampaikan pendapat, tetapi partisipasi sering terhambat oleh dominasi siswa tertentu dan dinamika diskusi yang tidak merata. Evaluasi menunjukkan kemajuan dalam analisis informasi dan penyampaian ide, meskipun keterampilan mendengarkan aktif dan pola pikir logis masih perlu ditingkatkan. Kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu, minimnya teknologi, dan rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa dapat diatasi dengan pelatihan intensif, media pembelajaran inovatif, dan integrasi tugas kelompok. Perbaikan menyeluruh pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dapat mengoptimalkan metode ini untuk membangun kompetensi abad ke-21. Abstract

This study aims to describe in depth the planning, implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and evaluation of the application of expository learning strategies in improving the quality of students' memorization of the Qur'an at Adzkia 1 Padang Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research uses qualitative methods through a descriptive approach, the type of research used is field research. The results showed that Adzkia 1 Padang Integrated Islamic Elementary School has designed the implementation of learning in stages, starting from preparation, opening activities, core activities (including murajaah together and memorization deposits), to closing activities. Some of the supporting factors for the successful implementation of expository strategies include a conducive learning environment, grouping students based on ability, and choosing strategies that are considered easier for teachers and students. However, there are also some inhibiting factors such as boredom in learning, lack of independent murajaah, and lack of cooperation with parents. Thus, learning evaluation is carried out regularly through mutabaah books, weekly evaluations, and comprehensive exams. The evaluation results show an increase in the quality of memorization of the Qur'an in most students.

The Influence of Moving Class and Learning Creativity on Student Learning Outcomes in Jurisprudence Subjects in Class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darussalam Simpang Limun Labuhanbatu Selatan. Thesis. Postgraduate Islamic Religious Education Masters Study Program, Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang. This research is motivated by the gap between theory and practice in the field. It was explained that theory, moving classes and student learning creativity influence student achievement and learning outcomes, however, the reality in the field is that moving classes and student learning creativity have not had an influence on student learning outcomes. This research aims to describe: 1) the influence of moving class on learning outcomes, 2) the influence of learning creativity on learning outcomes, 3) the influence of moving class and learning creativity together on student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative descriptive correlational type method.The respondents in this research were class VIII students at MTs Darussalam Simpang Limun. The research sample was taken as a whole from the existing population of 81 people. The research instrument uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, simple regression and multiple regression. The research findings show that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between moving class on learning outcomes with an achievement of 30.6%, (2) There is a positive and significant influence between learning creativity on learning outcomes with an achievement of 18.5%, (3) ) There is a positive and significant influence between moving classes and learning creativity on student learning outcomes with an achievement of 30.5%. Based on this explanation, it can be interpreted that the high and low learning outcomes of students are determined by the high and low levels of each moving class variable and learning creativity. Therefore, to improve learning outcomes, moving classes and high learning creativity are needed. Recommendations in the research refer to other variables that have an influence on student learning outcomes. This research only describes the influence of moving class variables and learning creativity on student learning outcomes at MTs Darussalam Simpang Limun, Torgamba District, South Labuhanbatu Regency

Abstract

This research aims to analyse how authentic assessment is applied in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) about Hajj at SD 19 Batuang Taba. Authentic assessment is an evaluation approach to assess the extent of students' abilities through tasks that are the application of knowledge in real situations. In this research, we used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted by observation and in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and students as well as analysing existing learning documents. The informants in this study were 2 PAI teachers and 30 fifth grade students of SD 19 Batuang Taba. The results of this study indicate that authentic assessment in the Hajj material has been implemented through various instruments, such as performance assessment, portfolio, and project assessment. The learning activities implemented include simulation of Hajj rituals, making a mock-up of the Kaaba as well as directly explaining the pillars and conditions of Hajj. The findings show an increase in students' understanding of concepts by 85% and applicative skills by 78%. However, there are still obstacles related to limited infrastructure and the need for continuous teacher training. This study recommends developing more varied authentic assessmentinstruments and increasing teacher capacity inimplementation.

Abstract

The development of a microteaching learning strategy based on self-directed learning in private Islamic religious universities is motivated by the fact that lecturers teaching microteaching courses still use monotonous and uninnovative teaching methods, and facilities and infrastructure are still limited, which has an impact on the quality of students' understanding of microteaching, resulting in students being less capable of teaching when they enter the field for practical training. This study aims to describe the application of microteaching based on Self-Directed Learning in supporting students' learning independence and enhancing their teaching competencies as prospective teachers. The study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were obtained through in-depth interviews with twelve informants. All data were analyzed thematically using the Miles & Huberman Interactive Analysis Model technique. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of microteaching based on Self-Directed Learning is able to encourage students to learn independently, develop reflective skills, and improve teaching abilities and critical thinking. Students demonstrated active engagement in planning, conducting teaching practices, and self-evaluation through feedback from peers and instructors. The learning modules used were deemed practical, systematic, and capable of facilitating a self-directed and focused learning process.

Abstract

Islamic educational philosophy is a branch of knowledge that discusses the concepts, principles, and objectives of education based on Islamic teachings. This article examines how philosophical thinking in the context of Islamic education can help us understand the essence of education as a process of forming perfect human beings in harmony with divine and human values. This philosophical approach explores fundamental issues such as the purpose of education, the concept of humanity, the role of teachers, teaching methods, and the relevance of knowledge from an Islamic perspective. Using conceptual analysis and textual hermeneutics, this research demonstrates that Islamic educational philosophy emphasizes a balance between intellectual, emotional, and physical education, as well as the importance of integrating religious and secular knowledge. This article is expected to serve as a foundation for the development of an educational system that is relevant to the needs of Muslims in the modern era, without neglecting the underlying theological principles.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran Pendididkan Agama Islam materi asma’ al-husna yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate). Pada tahap define didapatkan bahwa pendidik belum menggunakan media pembelajaran secara maksimal dan belum tersedianya media yang tidak hanya menekankan kognitif peserta didik namun juga bisa untuk memperbaiki karakter Islami peserta didik. Pada tahap design dilakukan dengan perumusan Tujuan Pembelajaran, perumusan materi, pemilihan format dan juga menyiapkan elemen pendukung. Tahap develop dilakukan dengan validasi produk yang dengan 5 orang dosen ahli dan memperoleh nilai 92% kategori “Sangat Valid”. Pada uji praktikalitas dilakukan dengan 24 peserta didik dan didapatkan nilai 90,62% kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Tahap disseminate dilakukan dengan menyebarkan produk di SMPN 1 Tiumang Dharmasraya. Berdasarkan hasil validitas dan praktikalitas yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan video pembelajaran pada materi asma’ al-husna dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

I'rab learning is one of the aspects that must be studied by a student to help read the Yellow Book, but in fact, there was some student who have difficulty to the understanding  I'rab, therefore, it is necessary to research to find out these problems. This research aims to identify whether the problems of students and teachers in this I'rab learning. This research uses a qualitative method with the case study type, data sources were taken to eight informants through direct interviews using a set of interview protocols. All the data were analyzed thematically using NVivo 12 Software. The research findings found nine main themes about the problems of students and teachers in I'rab learning. The nine themes consist of three problematic students themes: i) low vocabulary mastery (مفردات), ii) difficulty in I'rab sentences (جملة) in the Yellow Book, iii) lack of mastery of I'rab terms. Furthermore, the six teachers of problematic themes in I'rab learning include: iv) the teacher not teaching according to the ability of the students, v) less varied learning, vi) learning is only centered in one direction (Teacher Center), vii) teachers placement by expertise, viii) teachers changes frequently, and ix) mastering the concept of learning by the teacher was lacking. The results of this research can be used as preliminary data for future researchers in examining these problems in the context of different issues.

Abstract

This problem stems from students from Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools, who are expected to have better emotional states than students from other public elementary schools. However, researchers found students with negative emotional states, such as socializing with friends, talking to friends, being assertive toward teachers, and not paying attention to lessons, not accepting their own mistakes, being unwilling to accept others' opinions, and being overly sensitive. Therefore, researchers wanted to investigate the causes of these emotional states in students. This research using field research methods through a descriptive qualitative approach, with techniques snowball sampling. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. This study resulted in teacher efforts in increasing students' self-awareness at Insan Kamil Integrated Islamic Elementary School by accustoming children to good behavior or morals, teaching children prayers and knowing Allah as the creator of the universe, giving advice in small forums, and getting used to being polite, appreciating and respecting others. Teachers' efforts in increasing student motivation by means of high motivation are by giving numbers, medium motivation by giving questions and assignments and low motivation by giving punishment. Teachers' efforts in increasing student empathy by giving advice about caring for fellow friends, giving children opportunities to be active and inviting children to contemplate nature.
