Abstract

The breakdown of parents' concentration and various new problems in the Lima Rakyat community regarding the teaching and learning process during Covid 19 which was regulated by several schools and madrasas in the Lima Kunci sub-district have raised parents' concerns about their children's education. This research aims to overcome learning problems during the Covid 19 pandemic, especially in the five Batusangkar communities so that ideal education can be achieved by balancing government regulations regarding the pandemic with effective and efficient learning process standards for students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, describing the learning process during the pandemic, identifying all learning problems in the field by interviewing students and relevant to school policies to maintain the quality of the teaching and learning process. Research findings on the effectiveness of online learning have given rise to a new polemic in five Batusangkar communities where the limited facilities and infrastructure in the technology sector and the weak economy of the community to buy internet quotas and android cellphones as well as a limited signal in rural areas, apart from economic constraints and study concentration, new problems have emerged, namely controlling online learning is difficult for parents to do because parents' lack of technology results in children wandering around playing online games and doing and using android only as a game application that is not useful so that online learning is not carried out well because android is often used for things that are not useful. useful and the occurrence of online gambling, opening adult sites, and creating negative WhatsApp groups. Ideally, school policy is recommended in providing assignments in online learning and increasing parental control in online learning in order to create effective and efficient learning. The research results can be used as initial data for subsequent researchers to study this problem in the context of different issues and findings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh kemandirian belajar siswa masih belum optimal, karena siswa belajar masih terpaku pada arahan guru, ketika guru tidak masuk ruangan masih ada siswa yang tidak memanfaatkan waktu untuk belajar secara mandiri. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh model Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI) dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih di MTsN 4 Padang yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan model Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI) dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) berpengaruh terhadap kemandirian belajar fiqih di MTsN 4 Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain The Static Group Comparison Randomized Control Group Only Design dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI) pada kelas eksperimen 1 di kelas VII.1 berjumlah 32 orang dan kelas eksperimen 2 di kelas VII.2 berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti berupa angket kemandirian belajar pada materi mensyukuri nikmat Allah pada materi sholat fardhu jama’ dan qashar, item angket kemandirian belajar berjumlah 25 pertanyaan. Data penelitian hasil kemandirian belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan angket, kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 20. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah uji hipotesis terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI) terhadap kemandirian belajar pada mata pelajaran fiqih yaitu melalui uji T-Paired didapat thitung = 69,734 dengan signifikansi 0,000 sedangkan ttabel yaitu 2,037 memiliki signifikansi 0,05. Jika thitung > ttabel 69,734 > 2,037 signifikansi 0,000<0,05 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak dari nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000< 0,05 dengan hasil rata-rata posstest kemandirian belajar yaitu 85,25.Selain itu juga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fiqih melalui uji Paired-T didapat thitung = 52,545dengan signifikansi 0,000 sedangkan ttabel yaitu 2,037 memiliki signifikansi 0,05. Jika thitung > ttabel 52,545 > 2,037 signifikansi 0,000<0,05 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak dari nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000< 0,05 dengan hasil rata-rata posstest kemandirian belajar yaitu 71,68.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of colored bead Montessori learning media to students’ numeral thinking skills none of the elementary schools (SD) in Padang, Indonesia. This study used a quantitative method with a single-subject research approach, the research data was taken from a student with dyscalculia through fifteen direct lessons using colored bead Montessori learning media. Data were analyzed by using visual graphical analysis tool descriptively were analyzed descriptively using visual graphical analysis tools. The results of this study showed that the use of colored bead Montessori learning media based on the analysis can actually improve the numeracy skills of students with dyscalculia in learning. This improvement is proved by, at first the students' scores were 2, 4, 4, 4, this was the value before the researcher used the media. Furthermore, after the researcher did seven times direct treatment, it was found that the students' scores increased to 10, 13, 15, 18, 20, 20, 20, even students were able to obtain self-evaluation scores with numbers 20, 20, 20, 20. The results of this study proved that the use of colored bead Montessori media has been able to improve the numeracy skills of students in learning. Referring to the results of this research, colored bead Montessori can be used as an alternative media in learning numeracy skills of students with dyscalculia none of the elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Moodle-based e-learning on human reproductive system material for junior high school students. The type of research developed is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model. This model consists of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Meanwhile, this research focuses only on the definition stage. The analysis of the definition stage carried out, namely: front-end analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, specifying instructional objectives. The research subjects consisted of thirty students and one junior high school science teacher. Data collection techniques through observation in the form of interviews and filling out questionnaires by students. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been presented, it is necessary to develop alternative learning media, namely Moodle-based e-learning on human reproductive system material for junior high school students.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru PAI di SMA mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode dalam tulisan ini adalah kuantitatif dekriptif dengan menggunakan intrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua puluh depan yang terdiri dari satu orang kepala sekolah, satu orang wakil kurikulum, empat orang guru PAI serta dua puluh dua orang peserta didik untuk memperluat data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam persepsi guru PAI mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai alat evaluasi, keenam persepsi tersebut ialah 1) pentingnya pemahaman guru pai terhadap evaluasi, sebanyak 33% responden mengatakan setuju dan 67% responden mengatakan sangat setuju. 2) Pentingnya wawasan guru pai tentang aplikasi quizizz, terdapat 25% responden setuju, 75% sangat setuju. 3) Efisien untuk melaksanakan tes, terlihat 50% responden menyatakan setuju, 33% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden mengatakan tidak setuju. 4) Mempermudah analisis tingkat kesukaran soal, 83% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden setuju. 5) Memudahkan guru melihat nilai peserta didik secara keseluruhan, memperlihatkan 50% responden sangat setuju dan 50% responden setuju, dan 6) menghilangkan ketakutan peserta didik terhadap tes, terlihat 50% responden menyatakan setuju, 33% responden sangat setuju, dan 17% responden mengatakan tidak setuju.

Abstract

Choosing a career as an Early Childhood Education Teacher is both challenging and joyful. Not everyone is interested in this profession except for those who have strong motivation. This study aims to identify students’ exact motivation to select the Early Childhood Education Department at Public University. This study uses combined qualitative and quantitative methods (exploratory mixed methods design). Sources of qualitative data were taken from twenty informants through in-depth interviews and analyzed using NVivo 10 analysis software, while sources of quantitative data were taken from a hundred correspondents and analyzed using SPSS 20 software. Both qualitative and quantitative data analyses showed that students have seven motivations to select the Early Childhood Education Department. Those seven motivations are: i) parents encouragement (81%); ii) job opportunities after graduation (83%); iii) loving kids (85%); iv) teaching is a noble profession (100%); self-will (70%); vi) the choice to be a teacher (76%); and vii) Early Childhood Education is not difficult, but joyful (80%). The study has successfully revealed seven students’ motivations for selecting the Early Childhood Education Department at Public University. This study’s results can be used as preliminary data for subsequent researchers to examine this problem in different contexts and issues. This study’s findings need to be continued by the next researcher by examining the correlation between motivational aspects with various other variables. However, this data can also be used as an initial reference for examining the issues and problems in different contexts.

Abstract

The level of worship is an achievement that needs to be improved by a servant to be more active in performing worship. This research analyzes how female students obey religious teachings or worship in life. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from sixteen informants through in-depth interviews who were selected using techniques of purposive sampling. All informants are active students from various departments at one of the universities in Indonesia. All interview results were then analyzed thematically using the Analysis Interactive Model Milles & Hubberman. The results of the analysis show that there are four levels of worship carried out by female students, namely prayer observance, fasting, reading the Quran, and almsgiving. The results of this research can be used as initial data for future researchers in studying this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

The role of higher education is very strategic in shaping the character of students. Religious courses in higher education are expected to contribute significantly to the development of students' Islamic character, especially amidst the challenges of globalisation and secularisation. However, the implementation of Islamic values in the curriculum is still debatable. For this reason, this article aims to analyse the implementation of Islamic character in religion courses in higher education, identify elements that support and hinder, and provide recommendations for more effective curriculum development. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) approach. The data collection process was carried out through searching for relevant articles from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to select eligible articles, resulting in 25 articles being analysed. The results of the analysis showed that religion courses have incorporated some elements of Islamic character, such as honesty, responsibility, and social care. However, there are some challenges in its implementation, such as the lack of training for lecturers, teaching materials that are not in accordance with the context, and low student motivation. This analysis concludes that strengthening Islamic character in religion courses in higher education requires a more holistic and integrated approach. Recommendations for curriculum development include lecturer training, development of contextualised teaching modules, and increased interaction between students and the community. The implications of this research are important to improve the quality of higher education in producing generations with Islamic character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh data yang diperoleh dengan tidak adanya jumlah santri berdasarkan kategori penilaian mumtaz (sempurna) dalam kemampuan membaca kitab kuning dan didominasi dengan kategori penilaian dhoif (lemah). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan: Seberapa besar pengaruh antara motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan membaca kitab kuning. Antara minat belajar terhadap kemampuan membaca kitab kuning. Dan antara motivasi belajar dan minat belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan membaca kitab kuning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis deskriptif korelasional. Responden dalam penelitian peserta didik kelas IX Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda Bangai. Sampel penelitian diambil secara keseluruhan dari populasi yang ada dengan jumlah 60 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dengan model skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif, regresi sederhana, dan regresi berganda. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan membaca kitab kuning dengan capaian sebesar 32,9%, (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar terhadap kemampuan membaca kitab kuning dengan capaian sebesar 21,9%, (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan minat belajar terhadap kemampuan membaca kitab kuning dengan capaian sebesar 33,8%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyzethe factors that cause bullying behavior among students and how to solve it. This study was employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Sources of data were taken through in-depth interviews with twenty informants consisting of elementary school students, junior high schools, senior highschools, principals, teachers, school security guards, education observers and parents of students. All interview data were then analyzed thematically using NVivo 10 quality analysis software. Overall, the study found nine important themes. Four themes related to the factors causing bullying behavior, namely: i)entrenched beliefsamong students, ii) physical differences between the perpetrator and the victim, iii) discipline by seniors to juniors and iv) the condition of the victim's physical disability and weakness. Five themes related to solutions to tackling the problem of bullying, namely i) giving firm action to the perpetrator, ii) eliminating television shows related to violence, iii) equipping children with martial arts, iv) providing continuous education about the dangers of bullying, and v) instilling mutual respect in children
