Abstract

The limited research on the socio-political influences on text structure and language style in the manuscripts of Nusantara scholars. This study analyzed the manuscript of Muhammad Amin Hasan al-Banjari to reveal reflections of the socio-political context and the intellectual expressions of scholars through language. Additionally, interpreting its linguistic features within the classical Islamic intellectual tradition presents complexities. This study aimed to examine the text and language style of the manuscript, focusing on its socio-political context and intellectual significance. The qualitative approach with textual analysis was used in this research.  This study employed the manuscript of Muhammad Amin Hasan al-Banjari as its primary data source. The analysis involved identifying and interpreting thematic content, rhetorical techniques, and linguistic patterns found in the manuscript to understand the relationship between language structure and the socio-political context during the time of its writing. The findings revealed that the manuscript reflects the hardships of the Japanese occupation, using emotional descriptions, hyperbole, and repetition to emphasize suffering, while also conveying optimism about independence. It highlights the role of education in nation-building and the revival of Islamic scholarship as a response to colonial educational decline. The study contributes to understanding how ulama in Indonesia employed language to express intellectual resistance and national awakening. These findings provided insights into the intellectual history of the early 20th century and the role of manuscripts in shaping social and moral consciousness.

Abstract

Village communities generally have a cultural system deeply rooted in traditional values passed down through generations. This system encompasses various aspects of life, including agriculture, which is the primary source of livelihood. In Batukarang Village, Payung District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, local agricultural culture is reflected in two key practices that remain preserved to this day: the aron tradition and kerja tahun (year work). These traditions not only demonstrate how the community carries out agrarian-based economic activities but also demonstrate how social, spiritual, and cultural elements are interwoven within Karo agricultural practices. Aron is a local term referring to small groups or communities that assist each other in farming activities. This system serves as a form of mutual cooperation that strengthens solidarity among residents. In practice, aron groups typically work in rotation on other group members' fields. In addition to speeding up the work process, this system also strengthens social bonds and fosters a sense of togetherness within village life.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis merupakan kemampuan dasar yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa sekolah dasar sebagai fondasi untuk kesuksesan akademik di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan menulis permulaan siswa kelas satu SD Negeri x Indralaya dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan menulis mereka. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan sampel 18 siswa. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes keterampilan menulis yang melibatkan kegiatan seperti menghubungkan garis, menjiplak pola, mencoret-coret bebas, menyalin huruf, dan menulis melalui dikte. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam keterampilan menulis dasar, seperti mempertahankan tulisan tangan yang rapi, membentuk huruf dengan benar, dan secara akurat mengikuti instruksi dikte. Beberapa faktor yang berkontribusi diidentifikasi, termasuk kurangnya fokus selama pembelajaran, lemahnya penguasaan alfabet, dan terbatasnya keterampilan motorik halus. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk mengembangkan strategi pengajaran menulis yang lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan siswa kelas awal, untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

Post-fracture surgery patients generally experience acute pain due to damage to bone, muscle, and soft tissue affected by surgical trauma. Untreated pain can cause mobility disorders, anxiety, and even slow the healing process. Pain management can be carried out pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. One effective non-pharmacological intervention is Benson relaxation therapy, a breathing relaxation technique combined with elements of belief or positive affirmations to create a sense of calm and comfort. The purpose of this case study is to determine the application of Benson relaxation therapy in reducing pain in post-fracture surgery patients at Kajen Regional Hospital, Pekalongan Regency. The method used is a descriptive case study approach, involving four post-fracture surgery patients who experienced pain with a scale of 4–6 (moderate pain). The instruments used include the Benson relaxation SOP, a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) pain observation sheet, and a respondent consent form (informed consent). This case study was conducted in the inpatient ward of Kajen Regional Hospital, Pekalongan Regency, from September 8–13, 2025. Results showed a decrease in the average pain scale from 4–6 to 2–4 after 15 minutes of Benson relaxation therapy. Conclusion: Benson relaxation therapy effectively reduces pain intensity in post-fracture surgery patients and can be recommended as a non-pharmacological intervention in pain management in the ward.

Abstract

In 2020, a new type of pneumonia was found in Wuhan, Hubei Province which then spread to more than 190 countries and regions which had an impact on the economic sector, especially the trade sector, both due to decreased and increased sales. One of the businesses that has experienced the impact of a significant increase in sales during the pandemic is Counter Eldora Cell. This study aims to determine Eldora Cell counter sales in 2020 from January to December. The data collection method in this study is an interview. The type of data in this study is qualitative data. The data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The results of the study show that sales at the Eldora Cell Counter have increased in the sales period from January to December 2020

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of digital media in building the brand image of SD Islam Al-Azhar 54 Pekanbaru. As an educational institution based on Islamic values, the school optimizes the use of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and TikTok to enhance visibility, create a positive image, and build public trust. The strategies implemented include planned content creation, alignment with Islamic values, active engagement with the audience, and adaptation to evolving digital trends.The findings reveal that digital media significantly supports broader communication, promotes flagship programs, and strengthens community relationships. The annual increase in student enrollment serves as evidence of the effective and responsive management of digital media. This study highlights that optimal utilization of digital media not only enhances branding efforts but also serves as a critical strategy for gaining a competitive edge in the modern education sector.

Abstract

The phenomenon of online gambling has become a form of cybercrime that is increasingly prevalent in various regions, including in special autonomous regions such as Central Aceh. This article critically examines law enforcement against online gambling crimes using normative and juridical-empirical approaches, particularly in the context of the application of national law and Aceh Qanun Number 6 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law. The study results indicate that law enforcement still faces various substantial and structural obstacles, such as regulatory disharmony between national criminal law and Jinayat law, limited technical capacity of law enforcement officers in handling digital crimes, and low public legal awareness of the prohibition of gambling crimes. Although Aceh has local legal instruments based on Islamic law, their implementation has not been fully effective in addressing the dynamics of technology-based crime. The author recommends the need for harmonization of legal norms, strengthening digital forensic institutions, and an educational approach based on local values ​​to realize an adaptive and equitable law enforcement system in the Aceh region.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the group discussion method to improve students’ understanding of Islamic Religious Education material at SMA PAB 4 Sampali. The background of this research arises from the low level of student participation in conventional teacher-centered learning, which results in poor conceptual understanding. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects were eleventh-grade students taking Islamic Religious Education lessons. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the group discussion method successfully increased students’ active participation, both in expressing opinions and listening to classmates’ ideas. Furthermore, group discussions created a collaborative learning atmosphere, allowing students to complement each other’s understanding of the material. Students’ learning outcomes improved, as evidenced by higher evaluation scores compared to before the method was applied. Therefore, the group discussion method can be an effective alternative learning strategy for Islamic Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to provide information to the community in providing and introducing fisheries science with education and applied good and correct feeding processes to villagers who have side jobs in fish farming. Providing understanding to the community to try to start a side business in the field of fish farming and also knowing how to utilize the natural resources available in Blang Padang village. this activity was carried out in Blang Padang Village, Tangan-Tangan District, Southwest Aceh Regency and was accompanied by the village head and village officials. The method of implementing activities begins with the presentation of material directly to the community, field practices that involve the community in its implementation.  The results obtained from this activity show that the community is interested in starting a new business in the field of fish farming.  All communities involved gained knowledge and understanding in calculating the amount of feed and how to feed properly.  Village officials through BUMG will facilitate the community in starting a saline tilapia aquaculture business, either in terms of funding or providing tools and materials that will be needed by new farmers

Abstract

This research is intended to analyze a news text entitled “Pakar Sebut Pemilih Prabowo Cenderung Beralih ke Sandi Ketimbang Anies” based on the Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis. This research aims to examine the construction of news about the Prabowo voters tend to switch to Sandi instead of Anies. The main data was obtained from CNN Indonesia.com. In analysing the data, researchers used Norman Fairclough analysis model that focuses on the three dimensions, namely text dimension, discourse dimension, and socio-cultural dimension. The results shown that the tendency of news texts to be more in favor of Sandiaga Uno, who is predicted to run in the 2024 presidential election. Through the news texts, the contrast of several parties is shown, which favors Sandiaga Uno. Furthermore, researcher assumed that news text is not only as a media for announcement, however news text as a social construction that is full of power that somehow can marginalized someone.
