Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of booklet media for class X high school biodiversity material. The method used in this research is research and development. The procedure used is the development model according to Borg & Gall which is adapted to the needs of researchers. The Borg & Gall development procedures are potential and problems, data collection, product design and design validation. The validation instrument used in this research was the booklet media validation sheet. Validation was carried out by five validators consisting of two biology education lecturers and three high school biology teachers. The validation results were then analyzed using the Lawshe formula. From the Lawshe formula, we use a validation sheet which is equipped with assessment criteria which can be seen in the validated results and discussion section. This research shows that the booklet media on biodiversity material is declared valid. Therefore, this booklet media on biodiversity material is suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of pocket book learning media on the submaterial of biodiversity utilization in class X SMA. The pocket book is based on the results of an inventory of plant species that are used in the traditional ritual process by the Dayak Kanayatn tribe in Pentek Village, Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The systematics in this study consisted of three stages, namely making pocket book media, validating pocket book media and analyzing data. This pocket book media was validated by two lecturers of Biology Education FKIP UNTAN and three teachers in the specified schools, namely SMA Negeri 1 Toho, SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak and SMA Swasta Taman Mulia Kubu Raya. The validation sheet assessment uses a Likert scale and data analysis based on the Lawshe formula (1975). Based on the assessment of the five validators obtained a Conten Validity Index (CVI) value of 1.00> 0.99 so that it is declared valid and feasible to use on the utilization of biodiversity sub-material of class X high school. abstrak.

Abstract

Students' abilities in the learning process are, of course, different, so the grades obtained are also different. Enrichment modules are used as alternative teaching materials for students with more abilities and have achieved minimum completeness criteria to increase and deepen knowledge about local potential. The enrichment module created presents the use of biodiversity, especially medicinal plants in Tirta Kencana Village, Bengkayang Regency, so that students can get to know the types of medicinal plants and their benefits and how to process them. This research aims to test the feasibility of the submaterial enrichment module for utilizing biodiversity. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall model. The enrichment module was validated by 5 validators at SMA, namely 2 lecturers and 3 biology teachers. Data analysis using the Lawshe formula obtained a CVI value of 0.99 so that the enrichment module was declared valid or suitable for use as teaching material in the learning process on the sub-material of using biodiversity

Abstract

Women's health care is a very important thing to do. However, not all women's health care is safe because most of it uses products or ingredients that can damage the body. The solution for that problem is to use natural ingredients that come from nature as an alternative to maintain women’s health. The people of Trimulya Village, especially women, still use plants to maintain their health. This research aims to determine the plant species used for women's health and how the plant processed as in Trimulya Village. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection carried out using structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the research results, 21 plant species are used to maintain women's health in Trimulya Village three of which are rarely found, namely white turmeric (Curcuma zedoaria Roxb), Chinese betel (Peperomia pellucida (L.) Kunth), and lempuyang (Zingiber zerumbet (L.) Roscoe). The most frequently used processing method is by boiling. The plants used by the community are come from their garden or the yard of the house.
