Abstract

The lack of learning media causes teachers to have difficulty in explaining the material. So that students are less enthusiastic and have difficulty understanding the material in following the online learning process. This study aims to develop learning video media based on character education on the content of science theme 1 sub theme 2 in class V. The development model in this study is a 4D model which includes the stages of define, design, develop and disseminate. The subjects used were two material and media expert lecturers, two learning expert teachers, and 10 class students. The methods in collecting data are using interviews and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis and descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of the analysis obtained by the expert test results obtained an average of 3.9 with very good qualifications. The design expert test got very good qualifications with an average of 4.2, the media expert test results obtained an average of 4.3 with very good qualifications, the response results from practitioners with very good qualifications obtained a percentage of 90.5% and the student response results received qualifications very good percentage obtained 84%. This shows that the media developed is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

This development research is motivated by using media and learning models in elementary schools that could have been more optimal and decreasing student learning outcomes in elementary schools in science content. This research develops interactive multimedia based on the project-based Learning (PjBL) model using the articulate storyline of three applications on the subject of the human digestive system. Development research uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of this study were four experts, three teachers, six students, and 1 group of fifth-grade students. The object of this research was interactive multimedia based on the PjBL model. Data collection methods used are questionnaires/questions and tests. The data collection instrument was a closed questionnaire using a rating scale and multiple-choice test instruments. This development research shows that an interactive multimedia prototype based on the PjBL model consists of 3 main parts: the opening display, the initial display, and the main display. The average media expert eligibility score is 4.71, and the expert learning content is 4.8, a very good classification. The average practicality score by the teacher is 4.89, and by students is 4.78, with a very good classification and interactive multimedia based on the PjBL model using the Articulate Storyline 3 application effectively increases fifth-grade students' learning outcomes on the human digestive system.

Abstract

The limited availability of reading materials that highlight local culture in elementary schools has led to low cultural literacy and reading skills among students. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Bima local wisdom-based children's storybook as a learning medium to enhance the cultural literacy and reading skills of fifth-grade students. The storybook was developed using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects included fifth-grade students of SDN Inpres Tente, classroom teachers, and experts in content, media, and language involved in the product validation process. The research object was the children's storybook La Lino and La Mango, which integrates cultural and moral values of the Bima community. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The findings indicate that the storybook has a very high level of validity, with scores of 4.15 for content aspects and 4.0 for media aspects. The practicality test conducted by teachers yielded a score of 4.9, indicating that the book is easy to use in learning. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test using the n-gain score showed a significant improvement in students' cultural literacy and reading skills. Thus, the Bima local wisdom-based children's storybook serves as an innovative learning medium that not only enhances students' literacy but also introduces and preserves local culture.

Abstract

Self-Regulated Learning atau Pembelajaran Mandiri merupakan salah satu strategi pembela-jaran yang tengah menjadi banyak perbincangan di dunia pendidikan. Penelitian terhadap SRL telah banyak dilakukan oleh para praktisi pendidikan. Salah satunya adalah terhadap hubungan SRL dengan Motivasi Berprestasi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan literature review. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menge-tahui pengaruh dari SRL terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian dil-akukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas V SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan SRL sebagai metode pembelajaran di kelas dapat membantu siswa untuk menumbuhkan motivasi berprestasi mereka. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SRL dan motivasi berprestasi memiliki hubungan yang positif. Kedepannya penelitian terhadap SRL dapat dikembangkan dengan menggali potensi-potensi akade-mik lain yang dapat ditingkatkan disamping motivasi berprestasi siswa.

Abstract

Permasalahan tentang pembelajaran yang kurang tepat karena minimnya media pembelajaran yang tersedia menyebabkan rendahnya literasi sains siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah terkait rendahnya literasi sains siswa maka dikembangkan Pop up Book Satua Bali. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menerapkan model pengembangan ADDIE. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari metode tes, dan metode kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa hasil uji validitas oleh ahli media dan ahli materi dari Pop up Book Satua Bali Lutung Teken Kekua Memaling Isen memperoleh skor dengan kualifikasi sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan terhadap respon pengguna Pop up Book Satua Bali Lutung Teken Kekua Memaling Isen memperoleh kepraktisan sangat baik. Setelah melakukan uji coba Pop up Book Satua Bali Lutung Teken Kekua Memaling Isen, ditemukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi sains siswa.  Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Pop up Book Satua Bali Lutung Teken Kekua Memaling Isen valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menjadi ide dan memberi solusi bagi permasalahan yang sama tentang literasi sains yang rendah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran komik digital bermuatan Tri Hita Karana materi gaya pada tema 8 subtema 1 kelas IV yang valid dan praktis digunakan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE namun pada penelitian ini hanya dilaksanakan sampai pada tahap Development. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan kuesioner melalui Google Form serta pemberian instrumen penilaian. Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase kemudian dikonversi ke dalam tabel skala lima. Hasil validitas media dari ahli materi sebesar 98% termasuk kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil validitas media dari ahli media sebesar 95% termasuk kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil kepraktisan yang didapat dari guru sebesar 98% termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Sedangkan hasil kepraktisan dari siswa sebesar 96% termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran komik digital bermuatan Tri Hita Karana materi gaya pada tema 8 subtema 1 kelas IV valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out mathematical concepts related to the ethnomathematics of local wisdom of Sasak culture. This research is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which was carried out by identifying, reviewing, evaluating and interpreting all available research. The design used in this research is to summarize, review and analyze 9 articles with the scope of discussing the Ethnomathematics of Sasak Culture with details of one article published in the reputable journal Q2 and the rest in the accredited National Journal Sinta. Searches for these articles were carried out through online journals such as journal articles from Google Scholar, Research Gate, SINTA, DOAJ, and Scopus. The conclusion of this research is the finding of mathematical concepts related to Ethnomathematics, local wisdom of Sasak Culture, consisting of Flat Plane Geometry, Geometric Space Structures, Geometric Transformation Concepts, Measurement, Volume of Rotating Objects, Perimeter and Area of Flat Plane Structures.

Abstract

This study addressed the need for more interactive media in the learning process, which has led to low student performance. The goal was to develop Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model-based Interactive Multimedia using Articulate Storyline 3 for Water Cycle material in Grade V Elementary School that is feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing student learning outcomes. The research followed the ADDIE model: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. Subjects were Grade V students, and the focus was on their learning outcomes for the Water Cycle material. Data collection involved quantitative observation and tests using rating scale sheets and multiple-choice tests. Data analysis included average score analysis for feasibility and practicality and a correlated t-test for effectiveness. Results indicated that: (1) the average feasibility score of the media was 4.76, and the material test score was 4.63, both rated very high; (2) the average practicality test score was 4.70 by teachers and 4.97 by students, both rated very good; and (3) the significance value in the one-sample t-test was 0.000, showing the PjBL model-based Interactive Multimedia with Articulate Storyline 3 effectively improved student learning outcomes for the Water Cycle material in Grade V. Thus, the research concludes that Interactive Multimedia is feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing student learning outcomes for the Water Cycle material in Grade V Elementary School.

Abstract

Students' scientific literacy in elementary school is currently low. This is due to the implementation of the learning process that was not in accordance with the purpose of science learning and the implementation of learning still tends to be teacher-centered. Students have not been able to use their science knowledge to solve the problems that related to daily life. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of problem-based learning model with Balinese local wisdom on students' scientific literacy. The type of this research was quasi-experimental research. The population of this research were fifth grade of elementary school students. The research sample was selected by using random sampling with a total sample size of 55 students. Data were collected by test method. The instrument that used to collect data was scientific literacy test. The steps of data analysis were data description, prerequisite analysis test, and hypothesis testing. The study result showed significant differences in students' scientific literacy between groups of students who were taught with problem-based learning model with Balinese local wisdom and conventional learning model. Scientific literacy in students who learn with problem-based learning model with Balinese local wisdom are higher than students who learn with conventional learning model. This research implies that problem-based learning model with Balinese local wisdom can be used by teacher in learning to improve scientific literacy in students.

Abstract

The background of this research emerged from the awareness of challenges in understanding mathematical concepts of grade 6 elementary school students. Information was obtained that the lack of interest in student learning and monotonous teaching methods can be the main factors in low mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, this study was conducted to explore the application of Jerome Bruner's Cognitive Theory with an ethnomathematical approach as an innovative effort in improving the effectiveness of mathematics learning at the elementary school level. This study aims to apply Jerome Bruner's Cognitive Theory in mathematics learning with an ethnomathematical approach as a strategy to improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade 6 elementary school students. Involving students as research subjects, this study used an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test control group design. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and math tests. Data analysis was performed using related t-tests. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding of mathematical concepts after the application of this approach, with average test scores increasing by 15%. The implications of these findings illustrate that the integration of Jerome Bruner's Cognitive Theory and ethnomathematics creates a more contextual and relevant learning environment, facilitating the process of students' construction of mathematical knowledge. The conclusion of this study confirms that the application of this approach can be an effective strategy in improving mathematics learning outcomes at the primary school level, making conceptual and practical contributions to the development of more innovative mathematics learning.
