Abstract

This study examines the implementation of academic cultural values in student campus life at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Takengon, Aceh Tengah, Indonesia. Academic culture plays an important role in shaping students’ attitudes, behaviors, and intellectual development within higher education institutions. This research aims to analyze how academic norms, academic activities, and academic works are implemented among students in order to create a productive academic environment. The study employed a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis involving university leaders, faculty members, and students. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of academic culture at IAIN Takengon is carried out through several strategies, including the socialization of academic regulations through student orientation programs, the role modeling of academic behavior by lecturers and university leaders, and the integration of academic norms in daily learning activities. In addition, the development of academic literacy, the ethical use of digital technology and social media, and the promotion of academic activities such as seminars, workshops, research collaboration, and student organizational involvement contribute to strengthening academic culture among students. Institutional support, adequate academic facilities, and active participation of lecturers and students were identified as key factors supporting the development of academic culture, although challenges related to student motivation and engagement remain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the muhadharah program in developing students' da'wah skills at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Bromo The focus of the study includes the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the muhadharah program in developing students' da'wah skills. The method used in this study is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the muhadharah program is effective in developing students' da'wah skills. The da'wah skills in question include the courage to appear in public, proficiency in delivering da'wah in three languages, fluency in reading the holy verses of the Qur'an, and being accustomed to being a prayer reader. Although there are obstacles such as inadequate available facilities and infrastructure, low levels of student participation that tend to be dominated by the same person, and lack of teacher creativity in the coaching process. Therefore, continuous improvement efforts are needed so that the muhadharah program is implemented optimally in developing students' da'wah skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of the Quranic literacy program as a strategy for character building for students at MTs Zia Salsabila, covering aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analysed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study indicate that the Quranic literacy program was planned systematically and sustainably to improve students' ability to read the Quran and shape their religious character. It is implemented routinely every morning through structured activities involving students and teachers as supervisors. Evaluation shows that approximately 70% of students have achieved the target, although some students still struggle to perform optimally. Overall, the Quranic literacy program makes a positive contribution to the formation of student character, especially in aspects of discipline, responsibility, and religiosity. In addition to improving the ability to read the Quran, this program also builds a school culture conducive to strengthening spiritual values, developing disciplined learning habits, and complying with madrasah regulations. The involvement of all teachers in the supervision process demonstrates institutional collaboration that supports the program's success. Research findings also indicate that successful character building is determined not only by routine activities but also by the management system, regular evaluations, and parental support in guiding students at home. Therefore, the Quranic literacy program can be positioned as a relevant and sustainable character education strategy to address the challenges of adolescent moral development in the digital age.
