Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, organizational culture, and leadership style on employee performance at PT Natura Nuswantara Nirmala. The results show that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Motivation in the form of rewards and development programs has been proven to significantly improve performance. Furthermore, a supportive organizational culture also positively influences employee performance, where good values and work environment encourage employees to work more effectively and efficiently. Transformational leadership style also has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, providing clear direction and motivating performance improvement. Overall, work motivation, organizational culture, and leadership style collectively have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT Natura Nuswantara Nirmala.

Abstract

Teachers may find difficulty to design assignments that will increase arousal and keep students’ attention during stages that will encourage them critically to reflect on their actions during physical education activities. Designing assignments that increase arousal and maintain students' attention during physical education activities can be a challenging for teachers, often resulting in a reliance on traditional skills-based approaches. This study aims to address this issue by applying the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) model with a small-sided games (SSG) approach to enhance students' football playing skills. The study used 3 vs 3 invasion games to evaluate playing skills, with a game performance evaluation tool (GPET) used as the playing skill instrument. Decisions regarding coding and execution are made in accordance with the subject of the tactical challenge to be solved, including on- and off-ball attackers. The findings revealed that the experimental group’s decision-making ability when passing was 7.97 and when dribbling was 7.28. The performance results in the experimental group were 7.98 and those in the control group were 7.48. The research made a valuable contribution by demonstrating how using TGfU and SSGs can improve football skills and enhance the quality of teaching in physical education. One limitation is that the research only focused on football playing skills, so the results may not be generalizable to other sports or activities. Future research can investigate the impact of the intervention on other outcomes, such as enjoyment, motivation, and participation in physical activity.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the essential skills in the 21st century that can be developed through learning mathematics, but in practice, there has not been much facilitation of learning media. Realistic mathematics learning by utilizing culture as well as integrating technology can be used as an ideal starting point for learning. This study aims to develop a mobile learning-based mathematics learning device with a realistic learning approach in the context of the Tedhak Siten ceremony to improve students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is development research that refers to the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data sources in this study were students and validators. The instruments used were the mobile learning application, the pretest, and posttest questions, the material expert validation questionnaire, the media expert validation questionnaire, and the student response questionnaire. The results showed that the validity aspect obtained a good category from the media expert validator and the material expert, the practical aspect of students as users obtained a good category, and the effectiveness aspect obtained a significant increase in pretest to posttest scores. So that learning mathematics with mobile learning applications can develop students' critical thinking skills and have potential effects.

Abstract

Kecemasan matematika dapat menghambat kenyamanan dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model Inquiry Based Learning terhadap kecemasan matematika siswa di SMA N 1 Sedayu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi-experimental dan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel terdiri atas 68 siswa kelas XI, yaitu 34 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 34 siswa kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket kecemasan matematika dan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, independent sample t-test, dan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kecemasan matematika pada pretest antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dengan Sig. 0,813 > 0,05. Pada posttest, terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelas dengan Sig. 0,001 < 0,05. Secara deskriptif, rata-rata kecemasan kelas eksperimen menurun dari 55,71 menjadi 53,35. Namun, hasil paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa penurunan tersebut belum signifikan secara statistik dengan Sig. 0,115 > 0,05. Dengan demikian, Inquiry Based Learning belum dapat dinyatakan efektif secara kuat dalam menurunkan kecemasan matematika, tetapi menunjukkan kecenderungan positif dan perbedaan pada pengukuran akhir.
