Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif untuk anak-anak usia dini adalah cara yang menekankan pemberian kesempatan belajar yang sama bagi semua anak, termasuk mereka yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus. Menurut Booth dan Ainscow (2002), pendidikan inklusif adalah proses mengenali dan mengurangi hambatan belajar dengan menerapkan lingkungan yang ramah, partisipatif, dan bisa merespons keberagaman anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk melihat konsep inklusi dalam pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) serta tantangan yang terjadi saat pendidikan inklusif diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan inklusif bergantung pada pemahaman guru, penyesuaian kurikulum, serta dukungan dari orang tua dan tenaga profesional. Meskipun masih ada hambatan seperti kurangnya alat, pelatihan guru yang tidak cukup, dan kesadaran masyarakat yang rendah, penerapan pendidikan inklusif tetap memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan sosial, emosional, kemandirian, dan kemampuan berinteraksi anak sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya meningkatkan kemampuan guru dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang ramah terhadap keberagaman untuk mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan inklusif di PAUD.

Abstract

The digital era demands a comprehensive transformation in the educational system, including in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This article aims to evaluate the curriculum and instructional practices of PAI within the context of the digital era from an Islamic education perspective, focusing on: (1) the adaptation of the PAI curriculum to digital learning needs, (2) technology-based PAI learning practices, and (3) the main challenges and recommendations for improvement. The research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach through library research, analyzing scientific publications, educational regulations, and recent literature from the past four years. The findings reveal that although the PAI curriculum has begun to incorporate digital components and online learning media, several implementation gaps remain, such as limited digital literacy among teachers, unequal access to technology, and insufficient systematic integration of Islamic values within digital learning platforms. Technology-based PAI learning has proven effective in enhancing student motivation and accessibility; however, challenges related to access disparity, moral development, and character formation remain significant. The study concludes that the evaluation of the PAI curriculum and learning in the digital era must emphasize synergy between technology and Islamic values, ensuring that digitalization not only modernizes learning but also strengthens students’ spiritual, moral, and Islamic character. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of mediation in resolving Islamic economic disputes at the Batang Religious Court during 2019–2024. As an institution authorized to adjudicate such disputes, the court handled eight cases, five of which were successfully resolved through mediation while three proceeded to judgment. The mediation success rate reached approximately 62.5%, indicating its significant role as a faster and more efficient dispute resolution mechanism compared to litigation. Using an empirical juridical method and a qualitative approach, this study provides an analytical description of mediation practices based on Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) No. 1 of 2016 on Court Mediation Procedures. The results show that mediation was conducted in accordance with the regulation, with an average completion time of 1–3 months. Mediation success was influenced by mediator competence, party attendance, facilities, and public legal awareness. However, several obstacles were identified, including party absenteeism, emotional tension, and limited understanding of mediation. Cultural values of deliberation and familial harmony supported the mediation process, although they were not always effective in disputes involving financial interests. Overall, mediation at the Batang Religious Court is considered flexible, low-cost, and satisfactory for disputing parties, although improvements in facilities and public education are still needed to enhance its effectiveness.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini menjadi dasar penting bagi perkembangan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional anak. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh pengembangan profesionalisme guru terhadap kualitas pembelajaran PAUD melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Dengan analisis isi, kajian ini menelaah publikasi nasional dan internasional terkait pelatihan guru, pendampingan pedagogis, dan supervisi profesional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan profesional yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan melalui pelatihan terstruktur, coaching, dan praktik reflektif mampu memperkuat keterampilan pedagogis guru, meningkatkan interaksi guru–anak, serta mendukung terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang sesuai perkembangan. Berbagai penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa guru yang aktif mengikuti pengembangan profesional memiliki kemampuan manajemen kelas yang lebih baik dan mampu merancang kegiatan belajar yang lebih intentional. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa profesionalisme guru merupakan faktor utama yang menentukan kualitas pembelajaran PAUD. Oleh karena itu, penguatan program pengembangan profesional menjadi langkah penting untuk meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan anak usia dini di Indonesia.

Abstract

Peran guru dalam pembelajaran merupakan faktor kunci yang menentukan kualitas proses pendidikan, terutama di tengah perkembangan teknologi digital dan tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Guru tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai penyampai materi, tetapi juga sebagai fasilitator, pembimbing, motivator, serta pengelola kelas yang berperan dalam membentuk karakter dan kompetensi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif berbagai temuan penelitian terkait peran guru dalam pembelajaran melalui metode literature review. Kajian dilakukan dengan menganalisis 20 artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan pada lima tahun terakhir dan relevan dengan tema kompetensi guru, profesionalisme, integrasi teknologi, motivasi belajar, serta pendekatan pembelajaran. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa peran guru bersifat multidimensional yang mencakup aspek pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Guru juga menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan pemanfaatan teknologi, perubahan kurikulum, dan kebutuhan peserta didik yang semakin kompleks. Namun demikian, penelitian terdahulu menegaskan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran meningkat secara signifikan ketika guru mampu menerapkan strategi yang interaktif, komunikatif, serta berpusat pada peserta didik, sekaligus mengintegrasikan teknologi secara efektif. Dengan demikian, optimalisasi peran guru sangat penting untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang inovatif, adaptif, dan relevan dengan tuntutan pendidikan modern.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the strategy of character development, particularly akhlakul karimah, for adolescents in addressing the challenges of the Society 5.0 era at MAN 1 Lampung Timur. Society 5.0 is characterized by the integration of digital technologies into every aspect of life, which significantly affects youth behavior and values. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the character-building efforts at the institution are implemented through four main approaches: ta’lim (teaching), habituation, training, and mujahadah (spiritual struggle). Each approach is integrated into daily school life, aiming to instill Islamic values in both offline and online behavior. Despite challenges such as the negative influence of social media and a lack of digital ethics awareness among students, the school has demonstrated a strong commitment to embedding Islamic morality within the educational environment. The results show that this model of character development is relatively effective in forming religious, disciplined, and responsible students, equipping them with the necessary resilience to face the complex dynamics of the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concepts and theories of curriculum and curriculum planning for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in schools and madrasas in the context of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, analyzing various relevant scientific sources. Data were collected through a review of 25 scientific articles from SINTA and DOAJ indexed journals published between 2015-2023, curriculum documents, and related books. The results show that the PAI curriculum in schools and madrasas is developed based on the same national curriculum foundation but with different emphasis and contextual approaches. In madrasas, the PAI curriculum is more intensive, comprehensive, and integrative with general subjects, while in schools, PAI tends to be a separate subject with limited hours. Curriculum planning for PAI must consider aspects of needs analysis, clear objectives, relevant content, appropriate methods, and comprehensive evaluation. The success of PAI curriculum planning is highly dependent on the competence of educators, availability of learning resources, and support from the school or madrasah environment. This research implies the need for a holistic and contextual approach in PAI curriculum planning to improve the quality of religious education in Indonesia

Abstract

Pesantren, as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, plays a strategic role in shaping character-driven generations in the era of Society 5.0. Therefore, it requires adaptive and visionary leadership to remain relevant amidst the demands of digitalization. This study aims to describe the transformational leadership model of the caregivers/kiai at the IMBOS Islamic Boarding School in Pringsewu, focusing on role modeling, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study, data were collected thru in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. Informants were selected purposively, while data validity was strengthened thru source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that the caregivers/kiai at the IMBOS Islamic boarding school practiced transformational leadership integrated with Islamic spiritual values and digital innovation. Exemplary behavior is reflected in discipline, integrity, and moral consistency; inspirational motivation is realized thru the delivery of an educational vision that is considered an act of worship; intellectual stimulation is evident in the digitalization of pesantren management, such as cashless systems, computer-based learning, digital attendance, online student admissions, and digital libraries; while individual attention is seen in character development, empathetic support, and the development of teacher and staff competencies. This research yielded a novel finding: Transformational Digital Leadership of Kyai in Islamic Boarding School 5.0, a boarding school leadership model that adaptively and visionarily integrates Islamic values, humanism, and digital transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the condition of national and regional leadership in Indonesia through a SWOT approach to map the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that influence the effectiveness of policy formulation and implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative method and document analysis, this study draws on various secondary sources, including national and international policy reports, scholarly articles, academic books, and governance data such as the World Governance Indicators and the Corruption Perceptions Index. The analysis was carried out through data reduction, categorization, synthesis, and source triangulation to ensure information validity. The findings reveal that Indonesian leadership possesses several internal strengths, such as democratic legitimacy through direct elections, a wide and potentially powerful bureaucratic structure, progress in government digitalization, and strong social capital. However, structural weaknesses remain dominant, including political fragmentation, overlapping bureaucratic authorities, disparities in regional capacity, limited use of data in policymaking, and a tendency toward personalized leadership. Externally, Indonesia faces significant opportunities such as the demographic bonus, digital transformation acceleration, increased civil society participation, and international cooperation. Nonetheless, leadership also confronts threats such as global economic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions in the Indo-Pacific, political polarization and digital disinformation, widening social inequality, and the risks of natural disasters and environmental crises. The implications of this study emphasize the need for more adaptive, data-driven, and long-term-oriented leadership strategies through strengthened bureaucratic meritocracy, political consolidation, integrated digital governance, and strategic diplomacy in responding to global pressures. The novelty of this research lies in integrating leadership analysis with the SWOT framework into a systematic evaluative model, along with the use of contemporary empirical cases in the post-bureaucratic reform and digital governance era as the basis for strategic mapping. This approach provides a deeper understanding of the strategic position of Indonesian leadership amid increasingly complex global socio-political dynamics and offers relevant policy recommendations for strengthening governance in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran hak dan kewajiban guru dalam mendukung pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan. Melalui studi pustaka, ditemukan bahwa ketidakseimbangan antara pemenuhan hak seperti kesejahteraan, perlindungan, dan kesempatan pengembangan diri dengan kewajiban profesional yang meningkat berdampak pada rendahnya profesionalisme guru. Pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan melalui pelatihan, komunitas belajar, mentoring, dan refleksi diri dinilai mampu meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Dukungan kebijakan serta fasilitas yang memadai diperlukan untuk mewujudkan guru yang adaptif dan profesional.
