Abstract

Job analysis is a fundamental aspect in the recruitment and development process of teaching staff in Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to identify and analyze effective strategies in the application of job analysis to improve the quality of teacher recruitment and professional development. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data was collected through in-depth interviews with principals and teachers at one of the private Islamic schools who have implemented the practice of job analysis systematically. The results of the study show that work analysis carried out in a structured manner is able to provide detailed information about the duties, responsibilities, and competencies required of a teacher. The findings also revealed that clear job descriptions simplify the selection process for prospective teachers and become an important basis for the preparation of training programs and sustainable teacher career development. The conclusion of this study confirms that an integrated job analysis strategy in the human resource management of Islamic education can increase the effectiveness of the recruitment process as well as the quality of teacher development. The practical implications of these findings suggest that Islamic educational institutions need to develop a systematic, institutional needs-based work analysis system as an integral part of educational strategic planning.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the sustainability and success of a company. As a discipline dedicated to managing human resources—recognized as the most valuable asset—HRM aims to achieve organizational goals and optimize performance. The irreplaceable role of humans in production, innovation, and achieving organizational objectives underscores the critical importance of HRM. Even with advanced technology and superior resources, organizational goals are difficult to achieve without active human involvement. HRM encompasses key aspects, including recruitment, selection, development, and performance management. Human resources contribute significantly through their talents, motivation, creativity, and innovation, all of which support organizational sustainability. The primary focus of HRM is to ensure the optimal and efficient utilization of human resources by creating a conducive work environment, providing continuous training and development opportunities, and maintaining harmonious work relationships. The strategic importance of HRM is further demonstrated by its capacity to address complex organizational challenges, such as formulating effective recruitment strategies, implementing training programs, and improving workforce quality. The HR department plays a critical role in designing policies and strategies to ensure a competent workforce that aligns with organizational needs. Consequently, HRM serves as an integral component of the overall management system within an organization. This study employs a literature review methodology, drawing on a wide range of sources, including books, national and international journal articles, and other supporting references. The objective is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the critical role HRM plays in supporting companies to achieve their objectives. HRM not only functions as an administrative manager but also as a key driver, prepared, willing, and capable of making significant contributions to organizational success.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the importance of organizational culture, analyze organizational culture and strategies to support and change culture. The method used is library research, collecting data by finding sources and reconstructing from various sources such as books, journals, and existing research. Organizational culture can have a major impact on organizational performance and success. Organizations with cultures that align with the goals and values of their members tend to create positive and productive environments. Conversely, cultural conflicts or mismatches between an organization's culture and its members' individual values can result in discomfort and lack of optimal performance. Therefore, the understanding and management of organizational culture is critical to the sustainability and success of an organization. Analyzing organizational culture is also a process that aims to understand how values, beliefs, and norms in the organization affect individual behavior and overall performance. This analysis is important to determine whether the organizational culture supports the company's strategic goals or needs to be changed. Changing and supporting organizational culture requires a strategic and sustainable approach, as organizational culture is embedded in long-standing behaviors, norms, and values.

Abstract

Change management in education is a strategy designed to deal with various challenges arising from the development of the times, policy changes, and the needs of society. This study aims to explore the implementation of change management as an effort to improve the quality of education in formal institutions, by focusing on the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of change. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. The focus of this research involves identifying key elements that affect the success of change management, such as transformational leadership, active participation of stakeholders, readiness of educators and learners, and strategies to manage resistance to change. The results show that the successful implementation of change is highly dependent on strategic planning, open and transparent communication, continuous training for educators, and cross-sector collaboration. Leaders who are able to inspire and empower the team are an important factor in driving change in a positive direction. In addition, resistance to change can be minimized by building collective awareness of the long-term benefits of each new policy implemented. Institutions that have an adaptive learning culture tend to be better prepared to face change and are able to create innovations that contribute to improving the quality of education. This research makes a significant academic contribution by presenting a conceptual and applicable framework for the implementation of change management in the context of education. Thus, these findings are expected to be a guide for educational institutions and stakeholders to design sustainable change strategies. This study emphasizes that with the right approach, change management not only improves the quality of learning, but also supports the achievement of national education goals in creating superior and competitive human resources.

Abstract

Structured planning is an essential element in achieving goals, both at the individual and organizational levels. With good planning, strategic steps can be formulated to ensure the achievement of goals effectively and efficiently. In the context of the organization, human resource planning (HR) plays a strategic role in ensuring the availability of manpower in accordance with operational needs. This process includes workload and workforce analysis to determine ideal workforce needs and improve organizational operational efficiency.  This study uses a research methodology (library research), which is a way to obtain data by knowing and studying theories from various literature related to research. However, many organizations face challenges in effectively integrating such analytics into HR management. These constraints often impact employee productivity, task distribution, and well-being. Therefore, it is important to understand the factors that affect the effectiveness of HR planning, especially related to workload and work environment conditions.  This study aims to evaluate the influence of workload variables and work environment on work security and its impact on employee stress levels. Using the literature review method, this study identified the mismatch between workload and individual capacity and a less conducive work environment as the main cause of increased work stress. Factors such as excessive work duration and uncomfortable environmental conditions contribute to high work pressure. The findings of this study provide important insights for organizations in designing appropriate interventions, such as optimizing workload distribution and improving work environment conditions. With these measures, organizations can improve employee well-being, reduce stress levels, and encourage overall workforce productivity
