Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze urban community perceptions of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in the city of Surakarta, examine the Segmenting–Targeting–Positioning (STP)-based marketing strategies implemented, and identify the internal and external factors influencing their effectiveness within the context of educational competition in urban settings. Design/methods/approach – This study adopts an integrative literature review design combined with limited field observation and documentation at several MIs in Surakarta. Secondary data were obtained from indexed articles, academic books, research reports, and policy documents, while primary data comprised the physical condition of the schools, facilities, promotional media, and student enrollment data. The analysis followed the stages outlined by Whittemore & Knafl (2005) using Kotler’s STP framework. Findings – The results indicate a significant shift in public perception: MIs are now viewed as modern Islamic schools on par with leading public schools, integrating religious values with mastery of science and technology. The application of STP—combining psychographic segmentation, targeting of flagship programs (foreign languages, robotics, life skills), and positioning based on achievements, facilities, and digital publications—has resulted in a demand surplus of applicants. Supporting factors include teacher quality, an integrative curriculum, and program innovations, while constraints involve limited physical capacity and competition from premium private schools. Research implications – The findings provide strategic guidance for MI administrators to strengthen the “modern Islam” image through curriculum innovation, capacity expansion, and optimization of social media, with strategic adjustments tailored to the demographic and psychographic characteristics of the area.

Abstract

Shell waste, which is often considered a waste material, has great potential to be processed into handicraft products with economic value. Through an environmentally friendly processing process, the waste can be converged into goods that are not only in demand in the market, but also encourage public awareness of the importance of recycling and environmental maintenance. This research aims to explore how often overlooked waste can be processed into decorative items that not only reduce negative impacts on the environment, but also create new economic opportunities for the community. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving observation and interviews with handicraft business actors. The results of the study show that the use of shell waste can increase public awareness of the importance of waste management and environmental protection. In addition, this research highlights the importance of training and innovation in creating attractive and value-added products. Thus, this research makes a significant contribution to the development of a sustainable and environmentally friendly craft industry, as well as encouraging the adoption of circular economy principles in various sectors. In conclusion, the use of shell waste not only meets economic needs, but also contributes to environmental sustainability and improving people's quality of life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang implementasi supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di MTs PP Bahrul ‘Ulum Pantai Kabupaten Kampar dengan fokus penelitian ini adalah: 1) bagaimana implementasi supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru Di MTs PP Bahrul ‘Ulum Desa Pantai Raja Kecamatan Perhentian Raja Kabupaten Kampar? 2) bagaimana peningkatan kinerja guru di MTs PP Bahrul ‘Ulum Desa Pantai Raja kecamatan Perhentian Raja Kabupaten Kampar? 3) apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di MTs PP Bahrul ‘Ulum Desa Pantai Raja Kecamatan Perhentian Raja Kabupaten Kampar? Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) yaitu peneliti yang dilakukan langsung di lapangan guna memperoleh data yang dibutuhkan. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode diskriprtif analisis dengan cara mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi sedangkan analisis data menggunakan tehnik miles dan huberman yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan supervisi klinis berjalan cukup baik dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu pertemuan awal, tahap observasi pengajaran, dan tahap pertemuan balik. 2) Pelaksanaan supervisi klinis memberikan peningkatan kinerja bagi guru, guru mampu membuat dan mengimplementasikan RPP dengan baik, guru mampu menggunakan metode yang bervariasi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, guru mampu berinovasi dalam penggunaan media penunjang pembelajaran. 3) Faktor Dukungan: dukungan dari kepala madrasah dan pihak yayasan, adanya apresiasi yang tinggi yang diberikan pihak yayasan terhadap pelaksanaan supervisi klinis, hubungan baik antara guru dengan kepala madrasah, antusias guru dalam mengikuti supervisi dan adanya fasilitas yang disediakan. Adapun hambatan dalam pelaksanaanya: kesibukan kepala madrasah, adanya ketakutan dalam diri guru ketika ingin disupervisi, banyaknya tugas yang harus diselesaikan guru, dan bencana alam yang sering terjadi sehingga madrasah diliburkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas urgensi inovasi dan kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM Indonesia dalam menghadapi persaingan global, serta perubahan peran sekolah dan tantangan kekurangan konselor dalam menyediakan layanan bimbingan karir yang optimal. Fokusnya adalah menggali peran bimbingan karir dalam mempersiapkan SDM Indonesia menghadapi tantangan global di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur untuk menganalisis berbagai sumber yang relevan, dengan tujuan mendokumentasikan fakta, pendapat, dan klarifikasi definisi, serta mengintegrasikan pengetahuan untuk mendukung tujuan penelitian. Abstract

This research is presented to contribute to what business strategies Bank Syariah Indonesia can optimize in optimizing BSI mobile services for transaction satisfaction using a SWOT analysis approach. Data analysis was carried out by exploring data through observation, interviews and documentation, which was followed by a data reduction process, testing data validity and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, researchers found that BSI mobile banking services are currently at coordinates 0.70; 0.51, where these coordinates are in quadrant 1, namely an aggressive strategy. This strategy shows the situation that BSI bank can optimize BSI mobile banking services in increasing satisfaction by using all their strengths to take advantage of existing opportunities. One of these strategies can be in the form of (1) Improving the quality of products and service features (2) Maintaining the satisfaction of existing customers by improving the quality of transactions that are safe, precise and fast, (3) Increasing the security protection of customer data, (4) Evaluating feedback from past and current customers in designing future market share, (5) Strengthening promotional tools in introducing the benefits of BSI Mobile Banking service features, and (6) Reaching potential new customers in expanding market expansion .

Abstract

Banyak peserta didik yang shalat fardunya masih bolong, bahkan ada yang tidak melaksanakan shalat fardu baik di madrasah, maupun di rumah itu di sebabkan karena kurangnya perhatian orang tua, pergaulan anak dan lingkungan sekolah. Pemahaman orang tua tentang ilmu agama yang berhubungan tentang kewajiban shalat fardu sangat minim menyebabkan kesadaran peserta didik tentang pentingnya melaksanakan ibadah shalat fardu sangat rendah. Tujuan penelitian : Untuk mengetahui (1) implementasi pembelajaran fiqih ibadah (2) cara meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik dalam melaksanakan shalat fardu (3) kendala dalam implementasi pembelajaran fiqih ibadah (4) faktor pendukung dan penghambat ibadah peserta didik dalam melaksanakan shalat fardu. Jenis penelitian yaitu studi kasus dengan metode kualitatif Deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data deskriptif dengan cara memilah, mengklarifikasi, dan menginterpretasikan data. Hasil penelitian : (1) materi terfokus pada shalat fardu, design pembelajaran menggunakan acuan KEMENAG, metode pembelajaran menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan nasihat, media pembelajaran menggunakan audio visual dan evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan tes. (2) memberikan teladan, membiasakan, menegakkan disiplin, memberikan motivasi, memberikan hadiah terutama psikologis, menghukum, menciptakan suasana yang positif. (3) siswa sering tidak masuk sekolah dan kurang disiplin, guru aktif sedangkan siswa pasif, kurangnya motivasi siswa, hasil belajar belum maksimal. (4) Faktor pendukung yaitu kesadaran siswa itu sendiri, adanya fasilitas yang menunjang ibadah. Sedangkan faktor penghamabat yaitu motivasi siswa dan kurang disiplin.

Abstract

This research explores the implementation and impact of the Peaceful School Program managed by the Wahid Foundation in several Senior High Schools (SMA) in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive case study approach, with a focus on an in-depth understanding of how this program is implemented in specific schools and how it impacts students, teachers and the school environment as a whole. The results of this research reveal how the Peaceful Schools Program has created a more inclusive educational environment and encouraged a better understanding of the values ​​of tolerance, peace and inclusion among students. Yenny Wahid as Director of the Wahid Foundation, the Peaceful Schools Program is an initiative that was born in response to the results of a survey on socio-religious tolerance trends conducted by the Wahid Foundation in 2016. In 2018, the Wahid Foundation reported that the Peaceful Schools program had been implemented in several high schools/vocational schools in provinces such as DKI Jakarta, West Java, East Java and Central Java. In Central Java Province, there are already 5 schools implementing the Peace School program, namely SMAN 7 Semarang, SMAN 10 Semarang, SMAN 11 Semarang, SMAN 13 Semarang, and SMAN 1 Cepiring Kendal. To date, the Peace School has been implemented in 79 Senior High and Vocational Schools (SMA/SMK) in the region. Good cooperation between Indonesia and Australia, through AIPJ2, has contributed to the success of the Peaceful Schools initiative in promoting tolerance and peace in the educational context in Indonesia.

Abstract

Cases of violations of child protection. Of the reports received, 837 cases occurred within the education unit, including: Children who were victims of bullying or harassment: 87 cases, Children victims of educational policies: 27 cases, Children victims of physical and/or psychological violence: 236 cases and Children victims of sexual violence: 487 cases. From data collected by the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) and the Federation of Indonesian Teachers' Unions (FSGI), bullying cases are still a terror for children in the school environment. Meanwhile, the types of bullying that victims often experience are physical bullying (55.5%), verbal bullying (29.3%), and psychological bullying (15.2%). Meanwhile, regarding educational level, elementary school students were the most victims of bullying (26%), followed by middle school students (25%), and high school students (18.75%). The aim of this service is to provide education to participants in community service activities so that bullying does not occur at school. The method used is a socialization method carried out face to face. The results are 50%. Orphaned children do not understand the limits of bullying itself, and their rights as children and citizens, despite the social and economic disparities they have. Some of the orphanage children are still insecure about their condition of not having parents, or having incomplete parents. So they tend to tolerate what happens to them, because they are not aware of these rights and also their own condition.

Abstract

Marketing mix (marketing mix) is used to achieve marketing objectives. Using a qualitative research method, a descriptive approach. The findings show that the implementation of the marketing mix increases the sales volume at the Kita Family Building Store, namely in terms of products it still focuses on building equipment such as cement, sand, bricks, etc. Marketing it using media is very simple and according to the Islamic Economics Perspective, the implementation of the marketing mix for Our Family Building Store is in accordance with Islamic marketing. To a large extent, the concept of Islamic marketing is in accordance, namely in terms of products, always being honest and prioritizing product quality. In terms of price, set the price according to the quality of the product. then in terms of promotion, always emphasize ethics in business, don't cheat, don't sell products that are forbidden by religion, never force consumers to buy their products, don't badmouth other people's businesses in marketing their products and from distribution places/channels, namely providing a sense of comfort and easy access for consumers.

Abstract

Tolerance cultivar is a best control measure to reduce losses due to virus attack in the field.  Study on growth and yield of new cultivars compared to the commercial ones is an important step in cultivar development whether they will be accepted by farmers or not. The objective of this research was to study growth and yield of new chili pepper hybrids developed for CMV tolerance in comparison to a commercial and similar fruit size one. Twelve new hybrids and one commercial hybrid cultivar 'Prada', as a control, were evaluated in a completely randomized design with 3 replications. In the greenhouse experiment, H23 and H20 showed better vegetative growth compared to other hybrids and control. Hybrid H17 showed the highest yield followed by H5, H4 and H6.  Keywords.  growth, yield, chili pepper hybrids, CMV tolerance
