Abstract

Community Service activities are to increase the usefulness of the school library as a learning resource for teachers and students. This activity aims to increase knowledge and concepts about school library management for elementary school teachers and instill teachers' skills in managing and utilizing libraries as learning resources. The method used is lecture/counseling which contains the delivery of information for general and theoretical material (school library management material); dialogic method which is in the form of questions and answers and discussions about how to manage a school library; and training techniques to instill technical and practical skills and skills in school library management, and provide a concrete picture in the field of school library management. As a result, training participants gained additional knowledge about managing elementary school libraries based on digitalization. The library management training program received a positive response from teachers at Pandanwangi 5 Malang State Elementary School. Furthermore, the well-established institutional cooperation between the Malang State University FIP, especially the Department of Educational Administration, and the Pandanwangi 5 Malang State Elementary School is expected to continue as part of the Tri Darma of Higher Education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital learning policies and professional learning communities (PLC) on the quality of education, with teacher performance as a mediating variable. The research method used is quantitative with the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. Data was collected through questionnaires from teachers at various levels of education and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study show that digital learning policies and PLC have a significant effect on teacher performance and directly on the quality of education. In addition, teacher performance has proven to be a significant mediating variable in the relationship between digital policy and PLC on the quality of education. The structural model built has high explainability, with an R² of 0.844 for education quality and 0.762 for teacher performance. These findings affirm the importance of digital policy integration and strengthening PLC in improving the quality of education through the central role of teachers. The recommendations are directed at strengthening digital literacy, facilitating teacher professional collaboration, and improving the technology-based learning evaluation system.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam memaksimalkan potensi bahan pangan lokal guna peningkatan perekonomian keluarga. Cara yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini meliputi teori dan praktik dengan menerapkan lima langkah kegiatan yaitu analisa kebutuhan mitra, pelatihan, pemasaran, pengembangan usaha, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan dari praktik pengolahan makanan, peningkatan pemahaman dalam pemasaran produk dan pengembangan usaha. Antusias mitra dalam mengikuti program pengabdian ini sangat diapresiasi, selain ketercapaian program sesuai tahapan juga pemahaman yang meningkat dengan kesadaran dalam memaksimalkan pangan lokal menjadi produk olahan pangan yang bernilai jual. Melalui hasil pengabdian ini, dapat meningkatkan sumber ekonomi keluarga dan dapat menjadikan kemandirian pangan mitra.

Abstract

The issue of inclusive education in Indonesia still has many problems, which can be seen through the APS for children with special needs in the Society 5.0 Era. One of the causes is the inability of education to analyze and optimize the potential of students with special needs. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of interviews, documentation, and observation. The E-Report design initiated by researchers based on the findings of researchers at the SLB Autis Laboratorium UM is expected to be able to accommodate the problems and needs of educational service customers. Apart from that, the available features also try to provide an overview of the students' condition through pictures, photos, videos, recordings, and graphics, which try to minimize the sensitivity of parents of students who have children with special needs.

Abstract

Era digital telah merambat ke bidang pendidikan. Pengaruh digitalisasi tidak dapat dibendung namun dapat dilakukan upaya adaptasi dan transformasi. Digitalisasi memudahkan guru dan peserta didik dalam mengembangkan kualitas pembelajaran yang nantinya akan berdampak pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Tujuan adanya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) peran literasi digital dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka; (2) strategi menghadapi era digitalisasi; serta (3) bentuk literasi digital. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 7 Mojokerto dengan subjek penelitian, yakni Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala bidang Kurikulum, dan Wakil Kepala bidang Kesiswaan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh, pertama, peran literasi digital dalam melaksanakan kurikulum merdeka selain sebagai pedoman dalam penggunaan teknologi secara bijak dan cerdas, literasi digital membentuk peserta didik dan guru ahli dalam mengoperasikan teknologi sehingga media pembelajaran lebih kreatif dan inovatif. Kedua, strategi dalam menghadapi era digitalisasi dengan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Ketiga, bentuk literasi digital, di antaranya pelaksanaan program perpustakaan digital serta penggunaan aplikasi berupa Canva, Prezi, Fizzy, dan Youtube yang mendukung dalam mempresentasikan hasil belajar dan pencarian sumber belajar.

Abstract

The Bian River, the estuary, to the coast, have very high fishery potential. Residents around the river use the Bian River as a source of livelihood and also as a means of transportation that connects one area to another. The purpose of this study was to determine species diversity, the quality of environmental parameters so as to determine environmental health conditions around the Bian River based on the Seawater Quality Standard for marine biota in PP Decree No. 22 of 2021. The results showed that during 2 months of observation, 25 species were found from three stations. Observations, where the most caught species were Metapeneus monoceros and the least species found, were Paraplotosu salbilabris, Paraplagus iabilineata, Gerresoyena, Paraplagus iabilineata. Leviprora inops, Plesio batisdaviesi, Himantura uarnak. The results of water quality measurements of temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen (DO), and pH still support the presence of marine biota and have not been polluted in a stable category.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the size structure, length-weight relationship, growth, and mortality of kuro fish (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) that landed on Nusantara Fishery Harbour, Merauke District. The samples were taken off in August-October 2022 at Nusantara Fishery Harbour, Merauke District. The metusedsing was a purposive sampling method. The measured data was the total length and weight body of kuro fish. The size structure and length-weight relationship of kuro fish were analyzed using Microsoft Excel. Meanwhile, the growth and mortality were analyzed using the FISAT II application. The result analysis shows that the range of E. tetradactylum total length landed on Nusantara Fishery Harbour is 430 – 1030 mm with a weight range of 92 – 3613 grams. The length-weight relationship of E. tetradactylum has the allometric negative growth pattern with equation W = 0,0016L2,1167 in August, W = 0,0017L2,1134 in September, and W = 0,0017L2,1077 in October. The analysis of E. tetradactylum’s growth parameter shows the value L∞ = 1053 mm, K = 0,51/year, and t₀ = -0,1201 year. The result mortality analysis of E. tetradactylum shows the total mortality (Z) was 0,78/ year, natural mortality was 0,43/year, fishing mortality (F) was 0,35/year, and exploitation rate was 0,45/year.

Abstract

Sembilang is one of the fish that is abundant in Merauke mainland waters. Genetic research needs to be done to prevent the decline of catfish population. DNA barcoding is a taxonomic method that uses short genetic markers in an organism's DNA to identify species. This research aims to identify the Sembilang fish species using the Cytochrome Oxidase I gene. This study is an exploratory survey research. Sample collection was carried out in the waters of Padi Swamp, Merauke Regency. The mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I (COI) gene was amplified using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method with FISH-BCL and FISH-BCH primers. The results of analysis using DNA barcoding revealed that the samples collected were the Sembilang species (Neosilurus ater) with a DNA sequence length of 660 bp. Phylogenetic reconstruction using the Neighbor-Joining method with the 2-Parameter Kimura Model shows sequence grouping based on similarity and genetic distance between species.

Abstract

Educational Policy Evaluation: How Educational Assistance Affects PISA through School Resources, Teacher Learning, and Student Well-Being. Objectives: This research aims to determine the effect of educational assistance policies provided by the government on school resources, teacher learning, and Student Well-Being conditions on PISA achievements. The simultaneous influence of school resources, Student Well-Being, and teacher learning on PISA. As well as the influence of educational assistance policies on PISA itself and through moderating school resource variables, Student Well-Being, and teacher learning. Methods: This type of research uses an explanatory type with a quantitative approach. Regency/city locations include Ponorogo, Tuban, Tulungagung, Banyuwangi, Surabaya City, and Malang City. This research took a population of high school and vocational school students in East Java Province with a sample size of 560 students with sampling using stratified random sampling, area proportional random sampling, and quota random sampling techniques. The data analysis used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Findings: Education aid policies have a direct influence on school resources, teacher learning, student well-being, and PISA performance. Student well-being and teacher learning have a direct effect on PISA performance but school resources do not have a direct effect on PISA performance. The results of the indirect effect calculation show that the education aid policy has no effect on PISA through school resources and student well-being, but has an indirect effect through student well-being. The results of simultaneous direct and indirect calculations of educational assistance policies, school resources, teacher learning, and student well-being have an influence on PISA achievement. Conclusion: The educational assistance policies provided affect school resources, teacher learning performance and student well-being. Abstract

In the Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 73 of 2012 concerning the National Strategy for Mangrove Ecosystem Management, it is explained that the life support system and natural resources are of very high value, therefore efforts are needed to protect, preserve and use sustainably for the welfare of the community. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the community in mangrove forest rehabilitation in Urumb village, Semangga District, Merauke Regency. The research was conducted from September to November 2022, in Urumb Village. The research method used was qualitative descriptive with Purpusive sampling technique by determining the number of samples using the Slovin formula with a tolerance degree of 10%, so that a sample of 92 respondents from 1020 populations was obtained. The data collected in this study are primary and secondary data. The data analysis used in the study used qualitative data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. The implementation of mangrove rehabilitation in Urumb Village consists of four activities, namely; Enrichment of biological resources consisting of mangrove planting activities and mangrove habitat improvement. Habitat improvement carried out in Urumb village in habitat improvement activities is a ban on sand excavation.
