Abstract

The research objectives are to determine: 1) the level of educational games; 2) level of learning management; 3) level of learning motivation; 4) the influence of educational games on student learning motivation, 5) the influence of learning management on student learning motivation, 6) the influence of educational games and learning management on student learning motivation. This research is research that uses quantitative methods. The population of this study was kindergarten students throughout Malang City with a sample size of 206 respondents. The research results illustrate: 1) The level of educational games is included in the high category; 2) The level of learning management is included in the high category; 3) The level of student learning motivation is in the high category; 4) There is a significant positive influence of educational games on student learning motivation with a correlation coefficient value of 0.736, which is included in the strong category; 5) There is a significant positive influence of learning management on student learning motivation with a correlation coefficient value of 0.831, which is in the very strong category; and (6) There is a positive and significant influence together between education games and learning management on student learning motivation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru sekolah dasar tentang kurikulum merdeka dalam konteks pengajaran di era society 5.0 dan dampaknya pada kualitas pengajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan model penelitian studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah dan guru memiliki pemahaman yang cukup tentang kurikulum merdeka namun perlu adaptasi dan peningkatan dalam penerapannya. Dampak positif dari penerapan kurikulum merdeka antara lain adalah peningkatan partisipasi peserta didik, nilai rapor, dan kualitas pendidikan sekolah. Namun, dampak negatif dapat timbul jika tidak seimbang, seperti ketergantungan pada teknologi. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah dan guru sudah memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang kurikulum merdeka dan mendukung konsep tersebut, sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan teknologi, kreativitas peserta didik, keterlibatan peserta didik, hingga peningkatan nilai rapor. Abstract

One solution to the problem of mangrove degradation faced by the Payum Beach community is to provide training and assistance in mangrove management and utilization. Community participation in mangrove management can be interpreted as the active involvement of the community in every stage of mangrove area management. The training and assistance program is aimed at the local community of Payum Beach, especially women, with a total of 40 participants interested in the program being carried out. Training is carried out through lectures, discussions, and direct practice, while assistance is carried out to ensure the application of the techniques taught. Mangrove management training is through nurseries and making seed houses, while utilization is through mangrove leaf ecoprint training. The results show that this ecoprint and mangrove nursery training has proven effective in increasing the knowledge and skills of participants in various aspects, with an average increase in percentage above 80%, namely 83%. These results indicate the success of the training in empowering local Papuan communities and providing new insights that can be applied in economic activities and environmental conservation, especially in mangrove nurseries and making ecoprint products.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study examines students' numeracy abilities and attitudes toward environmental awareness among primary school-age children. Through an in-depth understanding of these two aspects, this study aims to provide a strong foundation for formulating appropriate solutions and learning methods that align with the needs and conditions of primary school-age children. Methodology: This research employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach to explore numeracy literacy capabilities and attitudes toward environmental awareness. The descriptive research design was structured to provide detailed descriptions of the conditions or characteristics of the phenomena under study, focusing on "how" questions and presenting facts accurately and comprehensively. Main Findings: The results indicated that 57.5% of primary school-age children demonstrated moderate numeracy skills, while 32.5% fell into the poor category. This suggests the need for educational intervention to enhance numeracy capabilities. Additionally, children's environmental awareness attitudes largely fell into the good category at 65%. However, certain environmental awareness attitudes still require additional attention for optimal development. Systematic efforts remain necessary to improve both aspects. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study provides novel insights into numeracy capabilities and environmental awareness attitudes among primary school-age children from the Malind community in EswambiVillage. The data offers contextual and specific information regarding educational conditions and environmental awareness in this region, which has yet to be extensively studied in previous research.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the New Student Admissions (PPDB) zoning system, regulated by the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 17 of 2017, continues to spark debate. This policy aims to improve access to education by minimizing travel distances, reducing transportation costs, and facilitating parental involvement. However, it also presents challenges, such as declining quality in prestigious schools, reduced student motivation, and perceived inequities in the system. This article explores the zoning policy's impacts at the senior secondary school (SMA) level, highlighting both its benefits and drawbacks while proposing solutions to enhance school quality resilience using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study reviews 42 articles sourced from Publish or Perish, BASE, Google Scholar, and Semantic Scholar. The findings underscore the need for targeted strategies to address the policy’s shortcomings and optimize its implementation to ensure equitable and high-quality education for all.

Abstract

The development of science and technology is currently very rapid, especially in the field of education management. Teachers are required to master all competencies in order to be able to design and implement learning in accordance with existing regulations. The aim of this research is to create media that is easily accessible to teachers and easy to implement, to help teachers improve pedagogical and digital competence. The research uses the waterfall method in development which consists of five main stages, namely the first is analyzing user needs to find out the features needed on the website. Second is designing the website according to the needs analysis that has been determined using wireframes. The third is the development step using website programming languages such as PHP and HTML. The four testing steps are carried out by media experts, supervision experts and a supervisor, then there is a product feasibility test called a usability test using system usability scale (SUS) calculations. The final stage is maintenance, which functions to revise the product. The results of the development that have been tested by experts get a percentage value of 96% valid which can be used for expert 1, a value of 94% valid which can be used for expert 2, and a value of 92% valid which can be used for expert 3. Furthermore, the results of the usability test test get a value 95.4% which means that a product has an EXCELLENT value category, which means it can be used without any revisions and is very suitable for general use.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di desa Air Sulau Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan kotoran ternak urine sapi sebagai bahan pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC). Secara umum limbah kotoran ternak sapi yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat hanya yang berbentuk padat atau fesesnya saja sebagai bahan pembuatan pupuk organik. Sedangkan pengertian dari POC itu sendiri adalah larutan dari pembusukan bahan-bahan organik yang berasal dari sisa tanaman, kotoran hewan dan manusia yang kandungan unsur haranya lebih dari satu unsur. Bukan hanya daging, kulit dan kotoran padatnya saja yang dapat digunakan atau dimanfaatkan agar lebih bernilai ekonomi akan tetapi limbah cair yag berupa urine nya pun dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pupuk organik cair. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah agar masyarakat tau dan menyadari bahwa limbah urine sapi dapat diolah menjadi pupuk organik cair, tujuan khusus dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengupayakan petani peternak khususnya di Desa Air Sulau dapat memanfaatkan limbah urine sapi agar lebih bernilai ekonomi tinggi bahkan juga dapat mengurangi atau menekan biaya modal untuk pembelian pupuk kimia yang saat ini keberadaanya sangat terbatas dan harganya pun sangat mahal. Adapun respon masyarakat dalam pengabdian ini sangat antusias dan peternak akan lebih optimal memanfaatkan limbah urine sapi dan mulai sedikit demi sedikit mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia sehingga dapat menekan biaya modal untuk usaha tani.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam pengaruh pengawasan akademik kepala sekolah kegiatan peningkatan kinerja pendidik di lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode korelasi deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidik atau di SMA Negeri di Kota Batu. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan proportion random sampling dan diperoleh ukuran sampel sebanyak 113 pendidik. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Pelaksanaan pengawasan akademik kepala sekolah di SMA di Batu Kota berada dalam kategori yang sangat bagus; (2) Kinerja tenaga pendidik di SMA di Kota Batu berada dalam kategori sangat baik; (3) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif dari kegiatan pengawasan akademik kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan kinerja pendidik di sekolah menengah atas di Kota Batu.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah sebagai berikut: (1) Program manajemen hubungan masyarakat TK Negeri di Kota Batu (2) Tingkat keterlibatan orang tua TK Negeri di Kota Batu. (3) Mutu pendidikan TK Negeri di Kota Batu. (4) Pengaruh program manajemen hubungan masyarakat terhadap mutu pendidikan TK Negeri di Kota Batu. (5) Pengaruh program tingkat keterlibatan orang tua terhadap mutu pendidikan TK Negeri di Kota Batu. (6) Pengaruh program manajemen hubungan masyarakat dan tingkat keterlibatan orang tua terhadap mutu pendidikan TK Negeri di Kota Batu. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh program manajemen Humas dan keterlibatan orang tua terhadap mutu pendidikan di TK Negeri Kota Batu dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari 173 orang tua siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis menggunakan SPSS dan Microsoft Excel menunjukkan bahwa program Humas, keterlibatan orang tua, dan mutu pendidikan secara keseluruhan berada pada kategori baik. Hasil regresi menunjukkan bahwa program Humas (X1) dan keterlibatan orang tua (X2) berkontribusi 55% terhadap mutu pendidikan (R² = 0,550). Secara rinci, keterlibatan orang tua memberikan kontribusi terbesar (49,1%), sementara program Humas menyumbang 5,9%. Saran penelitian meliputi: (1) Kepala sekolah perlu mengoptimalkan program Humas untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua. (2) Orang tua diharapkan menjaga dan meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka di sekolah. (3) Peneliti lain dapat memperluas kajian ke jenjang pendidikan lain atau menambahkan variabel baru untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

Transformation of education management is an urgent need in facing global changes and internal challenges of the education system in Indonesia. The Independent Curriculum initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology aims to provide flexibility in the learning process, emphasize competency, and accommodate technological developments and community needs. This article discusses the transformation of education management in supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia. The main focus of the discussion includes changes in the paradigm of school management, strengthening the role of the principal, and strategies for managing human resources and educational infrastructure. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in several schools in Indonesia that have implemented the Independent Curriculum. The results of the study show that the transformation of education management has a crucial role in the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum, especially in terms of principal leadership, teacher competency development, technology utilization, and competency-based learning evaluation
