Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of maritime education in addressing the evolving needs of the maritime industry, with a particular focus on shipping management, maritime business, financial literacy, and sustainability. The study employs qualitative methods, including semi-structured interviews with maritime professionals, educators, and graduates, to assess the alignment of current curricula with industry requirements. Results indicate that while maritime education provides a solid technical foundation, it falls short in integrating modern financial practices and sustainability principles. Stakeholder collaboration between industry professionals, educators, and students was found to be valuable but underdeveloped, highlighting the need for more structured partnerships. With an overall score of 9/10 across all indicators, the research suggests that incorporating financial decision-making and sustainability into the curriculum is essential for preparing graduates for future industry challenges. The study emphasizes the importance of adapting maritime education to equip students with the skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly complex and environmentally-conscious global maritime sector.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the aim of knowing the form of difficulty and the factors that cause students' difficulties in solving 3D questions in terms of the level of understanding of class XII students of MAN 2 Pesisir Selatan. The subjects in this study were 31 students of class XII IPA. The data in this study were obtained from written tests and interviews. The results showed that students with a high level of understanding had no difficulty in solving problems. All indicators of understanding have been achieved and are called low level difficulty type. Students with a moderate level of understanding have difficulty on the third and fifth indicators, including the type of moderate level of difficulty. The results of the interview showed that students had difficulty in solving problems because they were not careful in the steps of the process, it was difficult to relate various concepts and imagine. Students with low levels of understanding have difficulty on all indicators except for the second indicator and this is included in the type of high level of difficulty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan hasil analisis terhadap modul ajar kurikulum merdeka. Ditemukan berbagai problematika didaktis dalam menyusun TP, ATP, KKTP, dalam modul berbasis PBL, PjBL dan DBL. Guru belum memahami teknik menyusun modul ajar secara optimal. Pembelajaran yang kurang terencana akibat ketidaksiapan modul ajar mengakibatkan pembelajaran belum optimal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian adalah guru PAI di MTsN 6 Tanah Datar, Kepala Madrasah, dan wakil kurikulum. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi, pemaparan (display data) dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik penjaminan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah guru memahami kewajiban untuk menyusun modul ajar berbasis kurikulum merdeka, namun mengalami beberapa kendala. Pertama, untuk merumuskan (TP) guru mesti menganalisis TP kognitif (konseptual dan factual), TP psikomotorik (prosedural), TP afektif (meta kognitif). Kedua, untuk merumuskan ATP dilandasi analisis kebutuhan peserta didik. Ketiga, untuk menyusun KKTP dan rubric harus disesuaikan dengan TP. Keempat, untuk menyusun modul PBL dan PjBL guru membutuhkan pedoman dan pelatihan dalam MGMP.
