Abstract

Temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJ-OA) is caused by disc dislocation, trauma, functional overload, and developmental abnormalities. One of the effectively used TMJ-OA treatments is dental stem cell secretome (DSECR); it has shown promising po-tential in cartilage regeneration. This review analyses DSECR as having the potential to halt or suppress the progression of TMJ-OA. It was concluded that treatment using DSECR promoted regeneration and repair of chemically induced TMJ-OA, indicating that DSECR has great potential to be a cell-free therapeutic approach.

Abstract

Immediate overdenture is a treatment option to maintain alveolar ridge integrity. Root remnants under the immediate overden-ture denture base will reduce the risk of further resorption of the alveolar ridge, maintain aesthetics and improve retention and stability. One type of immediate overdenture denture is overdenture with bare root attachment. This article describes the success-ful immediate full upper overdenture and lower partial overdenture with bare root attachment. Clinically, there was extensive tooth loss and root residue in some teeth. Severe alveolar resorption in upper jaw. Extractions were performed on the remaining roots of 23,24,25,34,45 and extraction of 18 after the denture was made. Root canal treatment on teeth 21 and 22, and decaputation of teeth after denture was ready; they were used as bare root attachment for immediate full upper overdenture while teeth 35 and 44 as bare root attachment for partial lower overdenture. It was concluded that immediate full upper overdenture and par-tial lower overdenture with bare root attachments can maintain aesthetics and improve denture retention and stabilisation.

Abstract

We are working on a research design that explores the experiences of Accounting Lecturers throughout Indonesia, how they experience learning online in the field of Accounting. Accounting has its characteristics in the learning process. Accounting is a combination of deepening thinking intelligence, use of mathematical logic, and expertise in preparing financial reports. We use a Qualitative paradigm with a Complex Phenomenology approach, combining in-depth interviews to gather information on several informants while distributing survey questionnaires. The results show various problems that arise in online learning. We have examined high-stress levels separately what triggers stress and what are the factors that can relieve stress. The contribution of this work is certainly useful for universities to design accounting learning systems to reduce various weaknesses and problems that arise

Abstract

This paper discusses the crucial role of sociology in Islamic education, focusing on the history, goals, andscope of Islamic educational sociology. In Indonesia, educational sociology is essential for understanding andaddressing educational challenges, such as regional disparities, low literacy rates, and rapid social changes. Thispaper also examines the contributions of sociology as a science in identifying social factors that influence educationand developing solutions for a more inclusive and adaptive educational system. Using a sociological approachgrounded in Islamic values, this study seeks to connect Islamic education with evolving social dynamics. The study’sfindings indicate that the application of educational sociology can act as a solution to enhance the quality ofeducation in alignment with the needs of society and the workforce in Indonesia.

Abstract

Terbitnya Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 25 Tahun 2024 tentang Penyelenggaraan Perizinan Usaha Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara menimbulkan dinamika baru dalam tata kelola sektor pertambangan di Indonesia. Regulasi ini menuai perdebatan hukum dan administratif karena mengubah secara signifikan kewenangan dalam pemberian izin usaha pertambangan yang sebelumnya berada pada pemerintah daerah menjadi kewenangan penuh pemerintah pusat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi disharmonisasi hukum yang muncul akibat perubahan tersebut, khususnya terkait konflik norma dalam sistem perundang-undangan dan implikasinya terhadap asas otonomi daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan komparatif, serta menelaah dokumen hukum relevan dan praktik regulasi di bidang pertambangan. Fokus kajian terletak pada dampak perubahan kewenangan terhadap kepastian hukum, efektivitas pengawasan lingkungan, dan partisipasi publik dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Selain itu, artikel ini juga menyoroti peran organisasi kemasyarakatan keagamaan yang diberi ruang dalam pengelolaan tambang melalui skema baru perizinan. Temuan menunjukkan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara PP No. 25/2024 dengan prinsip-prinsip hukum administrasi dan hukum pertambangan nasional. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya harmonisasi regulasi yang mengedepankan integrasi kelembagaan, keadilan lingkungan, dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan sumber daya alam.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia has deep and unique roots, evolving from the assimilation of Islamic values with local culture since the 13th century through institutions such as pesantren and surau, which served as centers of knowledge and moral guidance for society. This study employs a qualitative research method. The findings indicate that the transformation of Islamic educational institutions from informal systems to formal institutions marks a significant development in the history of Islamic education. Madrasahs emerged as structured centers of learning with more established curricula and teaching systems, while simultaneously facing challenges such as conservatism and limited accessibility. On the other hand, the epistemological dynamics of Islamic education demonstrate a synthesis between revelation and reason, forming a holistic foundation of knowledge. This was reflected in the golden age of rapid scientific advancement during the classical period, followed by an emphasis on normative sciences during the medieval period, all while preserving intellectual traditions through sanad systems and rigorous learning methodologies. The intellectual contributions of Islam not only enriched the Islamic world but also had a global impact through the transmission of knowledge to Europe. Despite socio-political challenges, the value of balance between revelation and reason remains a vital legacy for the development of adaptive and relevant Islamic education to this day.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of digital competence, digital culture, and individual experience on job satisfaction and employee performance at the Palopo City BUMN Bank. Methodology: A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze the data. Results: The findings indicate that digital competence has a significant effect on employee performance but does not significantly affect job satisfaction. Digital culture, however, has a significant positive effect on both job satisfaction and employee performance. Additionally, individual experience has a significant positive effect on both job satisfaction and employee performance. Findings: The study reveals that digital culture and individual experience are key factors that enhance both job satisfaction and employee performance, while digital competence primarily influences performance. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the integration of digital competence, culture, and individual experience in the banking sector, an area that has not received much attention in previous studies. Originality: This study is original in its focus on the banking sector and its contribution to understanding the role of digital factors in employee performance and job satisfaction. Conclusions: The study suggests developing digital competency training programs and fostering an inclusive digital culture to improve organizational performance. Type of Paper: Research paper.

Abstract

Harga diri adalah penilaian seseorang terhadap dirinya sendiri, baik dalam bentuk penilaian negatif dan penilaian positif yang pada akhirnya menghasilkan perasaan yang membawa kepercayaan dalam menjalani hidup. Harga diri yang rendah mempersulit siswa untuk berinteraksi secara sosial. Harga diri masih ditemukan pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Jati Agung sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk mengatasi harga diri rendah melalui konseling individu dengan pendekatan terapi perilaku emotif rasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain pra-eksperimen dengan satu kelompok pet-posttest dengan sampel 12 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah Jati Agung pada tahun akademik 2015/2016 yang memiliki tingkat harga diri yang rendah. Berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon pada tabel 4.5, nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) diperoleh 0,002 karena nilai sig 0,002 <0,005, dengan perhitungan uji Wilcoxon yang diperoleh Zhitung -3,007 dan Ztable 0,05 = 0,0011, kemudian Zhitung> Ztable (-3,007> 0,0011)) dengan nilai tanda (2-tailed) sehingga berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa harga diri rendah dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Terapi Perilaku Emosional Rasional. Kemudian, dari data Ho dapat dilihat pada tolak dan Ha yang bertuliskan pendekatan terapi perilaku emotif rasional dapat meningkatkan harga diri siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Jati Agung Lampung Selatan pada tahun akademik 2015/2016. Abstract

Our current study is to examine efforts aimed at maintaining customer satisfaction as a strategy to increase profitability in the context of Management Accounting. Using a literature review approach, this study involves the analysis of a diverse range of relevant literature and empirical studies. Through this investigation, we identified strategies such as Innovative Loyalty Programs, Personalized Product offerings, Exclusive Collaborations, and Exceptional Customer Service. The research methodology relies on an in-depth analysis of related literature and empirical studies, which include unique case studies of companies operating in the field of Management Accounting. This case study requires an in-depth understanding of how the implementation of this strategy affects customer satisfaction and then impacts the profitability of the business. The discussion entails assessing the success of these strategies, describing their beneficial effects on customer retention, positive feedback, and brand image improvement. The implications derived from this study include practical recommendations for companies in the implementation of this strategy wisely, while also underlining the need for further research with an emphasis on the practical application and variability of contextual factors

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the influence of employee performance on community satisfaction at the Potokullin Village Office, Buntu Batu District, Enrekang Regency. The research approach used is a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study consisted of approximately 95 people from Potokullin Village. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The collected data was then processed and analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis techniques with the help of descriptive statistics using SPSS and a Likert scale. The results of the study show that employee performance at the Potokullin village office is categorized as fairly good, with the following percentage results: a) quality 47.2%, b) quantity 60.4%, c) task execution 61.8%, d) responsibility 55%, with an average percentage of 56.1%. Meanwhile, community satisfaction at the Potokullin village office is also categorized as fairly good, with the following percentage results: a) service procedures 63.4%, b) service requirements 59.2%, c) service speed 59.6%, d) service fairness 58.6%, with an average percentage of 60.2%.
