Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana implementasi model pembelajaran inkuiri dalam menguatkan keterampilan kewargaan digital yang dimiliki mahasiswa. Keterampilan ini sangat dibutuhkan untuk menghadapi era digital dimana ruang kehidupan tak terbatas dan pola interaksi yang bervariasi, agar tetap beretika. Melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, diharapkan mahasiswa bukan hanya memiliki pengetahuan digital; namun juga memiliki tanggungjawab digital.Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif; dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi; wawancara; dan kajian literatur. Lokasi penelitian di dua perguruan tinggi yaitu Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia dan Institut Teknologi Bandung. Informan penelitian yang dituju yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data; pengujian data; dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran inkuiri yang ideal untuk menguatkan keterampilan kewargaan digital adalah yang dikolaborasikan dengan blended learning;  Kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan model yaitu keterampilan dosen dalam menguasai teknologi dan motivasi mahasiswa menggunakan sumber digital yang terpercaya. Mahasiswa memiliki keterampilan kewargaan digital setelah menggunakan model inkuiri. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu model hipotetik inkuiri yang sesuai dengan era digital saat ini dan dapat diterapkan di perkuliahan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

Gastronomy is a study that covers various aspects such as food, culture, history, and identity of a society. In Lampung society, gastronomy is closely related to local values called piil pesenggiri, which is a philosophy of life that emphasizes honor, dignity, and social solidarity. This study aims to understand the relationship between traditional Lampung cuisine and the values of piil pesenggiri in building the cultural identity of the local community. Traditional foods such as seruit, tempoyak, and kemplang crackers are not just dishes, but also a medium to maintain togetherness and social harmony. With a qualitative approach through literature studies and interviews with Lampung community leaders, this study found that values such as deliberation, togetherness, and respect for nature are manifested in the practice of serving, consuming, and preserving traditional foods. This shows that gastronomy is not only part of culture, but also a tool to strengthen local identity and preserve local wisdom in facing changing times. This study shows that culinary in Lampung society has a broader role than just fulfilling food needs. This cuisine also reflects the local wisdom contained in the philosophy of Piil Pesenggiri, which emphasizes the values of honor, togetherness, and responsibility. The novelty of this study Food in Lampung has a deep symbolic meaning, especially in various traditional events, such as weddings and thanksgiving, where food serves to strengthen social relationships and show respect to guests.

Abstract

Pada era pendidikan abad ke-21, tuntutan terhadap perguruan tinggi di seluruh dunia untuk memiliki standar mutu internasional atau menciptakan World Class University (WCU) semakin meningkat. Indonesia, sebagai bagian dari negara-negara yang mengejar hal ini, secara aktif mengundang mahasiswa asing untuk belajar di Indonesia guna mewujudkan mutu pendidikan yang diharapkan. Namun, upaya ini sering kali menimbulkan fenomena gegar budaya yang menjadi tantangan terbesar bagi mahasiswa asing saat memasuki lingkungan pendidikan di Indonesia. Hal ini muncul karena mereka datang dari latar belakang budaya yang berbeda dan harus beradaptasi dengan budaya baru di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk gegar budaya dan strategi adaptasi sosial berdasarkan pengalaman mahasiswa asing yang menempuh pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan analisis sistematik literatur dengan metode PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) pada 10 artikel jurnal ilmiah yang mengkaji tentang gegar budaya dan strategi adaptasi mahasiswa asing di Indonesia dari tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada lima bentuk gegar budaya, yaitu kesulitan dalam memahmi bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa daerah, sistem pembelajaran dan birokrasi kampus yang rumit, tantangan menghadapi kebiasaan buruk masyarakat lokal, adaptasi terhadap norma berpakian dan penyesuaian terhadap makanan Indonesia. Adapun stategi adaptasi sosial yang mereka lakukan adalah mempelajari bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa daerah, menjalin relasi sosial dengan mahasiswa lokal dengan mengikuti kebiasaan budaya setempat, aktif mengikuti kegiatan kampus dan masyarakat, serta memperdalam pengetahuan tentang budaya Indonesia dengan membaca berbagai literatur.

Abstract

Resolving conflict underpins teachers' efforts to improve students' skills in handling personal challenges. It is known that conflicts often stem from social interactions between students in the school environment, highlighting the need for various strategies to address these issues effectively. Based on this, this research aims to analyze an event in more depth, including individual and procedural data, using existing information. This research applies a qualitative research design, namely a case study. The subjects involved are students of the target school. The researcher acts as the main instrument in this qualitative research. The data collection methods used include observation, interviews, and literature observation. The technique used to analyze the data is qualitative-descriptive analysis. The study results are student control and discipline, principals, and instructors participate in resolving and managing conflicts in the education system. Conflict arises when a group of people deviates from their overwhelming desire for control, prestige, or power. When helping students resolve conflicts effectively and non-violently, the educational environment is advised to provide them with conflict resolution skills. These skills can be acquired through various extracurricular activities and other subjects. This study has implications in providing a more comprehensive insight into conflict among elementary school students. It can assist teachers in designing more effective strategies to improve school conflict resolution.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of multicultural education ideals at Langlangbuana University, as well as the significance of multicultural education for students and lecturers at the university. As a research subject, Langlangbuana University may have been chosen because of its diversity or special initiatives in implementing multicultural education. This research can identify how these values are implemented in the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and university life in general. A qualitative case study methodology is used in this work. This research is organized and structured in such a way that it is based on facts that occur in the field to gain answers to the research questions. Each participant responds to questions about the implications and importance of values in intercultural education at Langlangbuana University by drawing on their knowledge of specific cases or experiences. Tolerance values, democratic values, justice values, and patriotic values are among the multicultural education values implemented at Langlangbuana University. In-depth observations and interviews were used to describe the attitudes of Langlangbuana University students and lecturers toward tolerance, democracy, justice, and patriotism. Despite their differing religions, they get along well and appreciate each other. The relevance of multicultural education at Langlangbuana University can help students and lecturers comprehend and be conscious of Indonesia's diversity, as well as create mutual respect and collaboration among students and lecturers. Aside from that, multicultural education can assist students and lecturers in creating a pleasant learning atmosphere with mutual respect between individuals from various backgrounds. This research could be one of the few or even the research that in-depth examines the implementation of multicultural education at Langlangbuana University.

Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai negara yang beragam dan multikultural, menghadapi peluang sekaligus tantangan dalam mengelola heterogenitas sosialnya. Keragaman dapat menjadi kekuatan nasional, tetapi juga berpotensi menimbulkan konflik jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Meningkatnya kasus intoleransi di kalangan pelajar menjadi isu krusial yang memerlukan perhatian akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran sosiologi dalam membentuk budaya toleransi di sekolah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menerapkan metode studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis dokumen terkait Kurikulum Merdeka, kebijakan pemerintah, serta artikel ilmiah tentang pembelajaran sosiologi, pendidikan multikultural, dan toleransi. Hasil penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tiga aspek utama: habitus toleransi di sekolah, peran pembelajaran sosiologi dalam membangun budaya toleran, dan kompetensi guru sosiologi dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pendidikan sosiologi sebagai alat strategis dalam membentuk sikap toleransi di kalangan siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang inklusif.Indonesia, as a diverse and multicultural nation, faces both opportunities and challenges in managing its social heterogeneity. While diversity can be a source of national strength, it also has the potential to generate conflict if not properly managed. The increasing cases of intolerance among students have become a critical issue that requires scholarly attention. This study aims to examine the role of sociology in fostering a culture of tolerance in schools. Using a qualitative approach, this research employs a literature review method, analyzing documents related to the Merdeka Curriculum, government policies, and academic articles on sociology education, multicultural education, and tolerance. The findings highlight three key aspects: the habitus of tolerance in schools, the role of sociology education in cultivating a tolerant culture, and the competencies of sociology teachers in promoting tolerance. These findings emphasize the importance of sociology education as a strategic tool for instilling tolerance among students and fostering inclusive school environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan muatan nilai-nilai spiritualitas dalam menguatkan karakter religius mahasiwa. Kajian ini sangat penting untuk diteliti mengingat karakter religius merupakan nilai esensial untuk mencetak generasi tangguh dan generasi unggul bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang bersifat deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah lima orang mahasiswa di salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta di Bandung, Indonesia. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi da-ta, penyajian, verifikasi, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai spiritualitas dapat dijadikan strategi untuk memperkuat karakter religius mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, bidang pendidikan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari nilai-nilai spiritualitas un-tuk menguatkan karakter religius generasi bangsa yang bertanggung jawab, mandiri, ber-moral dan berakhlak mulia sehingga berkontribusi pada agama dan negara.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan  pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada sekolah Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini  Madani Banggai. Jenis penelitian yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, Guru Kelas dan peserta didik secara keseluruhan yang berjumlah 102 orang yang terdiri dari kelas Adan kelas B yang tersebar pada 4 rombongan belajar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada anak usia dini sangat maksimal hal ini terlihat dari bagaimana guru mengenalkan pancasila dan lagu-lagu kebangsaan kepada peserta didik, selain itu mengajarkan anak untuk berbagi dengan sesama melalui program jum’at berkah atau

Abstract

Character education in primary schools is essential to shaping children's moral values and good behavior. This research uses the literature study method to understand how the character values of Eloklah Budi can be effectively applied in the daily lives of elementary school students. Data were obtained from various sources, such as books, journal articles, and educational policies, which were analyzed to describe practical approaches to integrating character values. The results show that character education focusing on the concept of "Eloklah Budi" in primary schools emphasizes the development of cognitive and academic aspects and the formation of dignified and highly ethical character in students. Approaches through the formal curriculum and extracurricular activities have proven effective in teaching students honesty, responsibility, politeness, and empathy. The holistic approach to character education also recognizes local cultural and religious values as key elements in building a strong and diverse character.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of learning based on the local wisdom of the Maataa tradition on improving the cultural literacy of elementary school students. Method: The research approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a pretest-posttest control group design without randomization. The research subjects consisted of 61 fifth-grade students at SDN 63 Buton, divided into two groups: experimental (n = 31) and control (n = 30). The experimental group received learning based on Maataa traditions, while the control group received conventional learning. The intervention was conducted over three weeks with two learning sessions per week. The research measurement tool was a cultural literacy essay test that had undergone expert validation and reliability testing (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.622). Data analysis was performed using an independent samples t-test and N-gain test. Results: The study results showed a significant increase in average scores from pre-test to post-test in the experimental group (from 70.8 to 92.9) compared to the control group (from 70 to 88.7). The t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two groups. Additionally, the N-gain score of the experimental group was 0.76 (high category), while the N-gain score of the control group was 0.62 (moderate category). These findings indicate that learning based on the local wisdom of the Maataa tradition effectively enhances students' cultural literacy. Implications: These results emphasize the importance of integrating local cultural values into the learning process as a contextual pedagogical strategy that supports the strengthening of cultural identity and student engagement in social studies learning at the elementary school level.
