Abstract

South Sumatra Province holds the title of zero conflict area because there are no conflicts found in the South Sumatra region, especially those related to ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group. This happens because local traditions are still used, namely the tradition of "tepung tawar perdamaian" as a Conflict resolution is an effort to make peace through dialogical mediation by community leaders towards disputing parties so that larger and more widespread conflicts can be avoided. This article aims to analyze the form of conflict resolution based on the perspective of Pancasila values which is the nation's ideology. The method used in this research is through a literature review of various related literature such as scientific journals and books, especially those that discuss conflict resolution, local wisdom, and the implementation of Pancasila values in life. The results of the analysis show that the values of Pancasila are implemented through the tradition of “Tepung Tawar Perdamaian”, especially the values of unity and consensus deliberation. Through “tepung tawar perdamaian”, the parties in conflict are conditioned to agree to make peace. This is usually done by the elders in the family accompanied by various people who are considered figures. When an agreement has been reached regarding the time of arrival, the party who wants to make peace will come to the other party to make peace, brought turmeric sticky rice and grilled chicken. The conclusion of this research shows that the form of conflict resolution in South Sumatra which is carried out through “tepung tawar perdamaian” is an embodiment of the values of Pancasila which in fact are indeed noble values of the local wisdom of the Indonesian people, and this can be a solution to prevent and resolve serious conflicts, perhaps arises from the diversity that exists in Indonesia.

Abstract

Every individual has social skills, but the facts on the ground are that there are still many students who commit acts of bullying or deviant behavior. This research aims to test positive self-talk techniques for social skills in students who are victims of bullying. This research uses a quantitative approach with a experimental method. The results of the research show 1) the results of measuring social skills before giving treatment using the positive self talk technique obtained the lowest results in the medium category, meaning that there were still some students whose level of social skills ability was not good because this measurement was still in the recognition process; 2) the results of measuring social skills after giving treatment using the positive self-talk technique obtained the greatest results which were dominated by the very high category, meaning that in this measurement the students' social skills abilities experienced a very good improvement; and 3) the analysis results show that the Sig. (2-tailed) obtained 0.000 < 0.05, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant difference between the social skills of students who are victims of bullying before and after implementing treatment with positive self-talk techniques.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology is a challenge for teachers in Indonesia in the 21 century. The pedagogical skills that only teachers have are not enough to keep up with current developments. Teachers are required to be able to collaborate with technology in their learning.   Overcoming technology challenges in education requires teachers to master competencies in content knowledge, pedagogy, and technology. The learning process with technology integration is currently known as TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content and Knowledge). However, it was factually found that teachers' ability to integrate technology into learning still did not reach optimal levels. This study aims to identify TPACK-based learning in elementary schools, in terms of teacher ability. . This study used a systematic literature review method. One of the procedures in this research method is to analyze and interpret relevant data. Data is collected from Google Scholar. Data was searched using two keywords: "TPACK-based learning" and "primary school teacher skills". A total of 198 data articles were obtained but only 15 articles met the analysis criteria in this study. According to the findings of the analysis conducted in this study, TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) should be an essential component in the development of learning models for achieving success in today's learning activities. This is reinforced by the need for teacher training programs that aim to enhance teachers' understanding and skills in integrating TPACK into technology-based learning.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology produces consequences on the challenges that will be faced by students. Students need to develop 21st-century skills that include the ability to think critically, creatively, communicatively, and collaboratively. These skills can be obtained through the learning process, but in fact, in the field, there are still many teachers who adopt conventional learning models and tend to be teacher-centered. This kind of learning has an unfavorable impact on students' creativity, activeness, and critical thinking. This can be overcome by using the RADEC learning model. This research aims to find out the learning process that uses the RADEC model to increase student participation and student activeness in learning to foster 21st-century skills. This research uses the systematic literature review method with the PRISMA 2020 model. The 2020 prism model is used to assess the systematic review. The data collection process uses Google Scholar with a range of years 2019-2023. Data searches were carried out with the keyword Use of the RADEC Model in Elementary Schools. The results showed that 21st-century skills are crucial for students to have in facing the progress of modernization now. From the use of the RADEC model, the 21st-century skills that are improved include critical thinking, creativity, communication, and cooperation. In addition, the main challenge of RADEC model learning is if there are students who are not good at reading because the initial syntax of this model is reading. Students are required to be good at reading as an initial capital in finding information. Another challenge is that teachers must be able to analyze well related to the objectives and factors that affect the success of learning. It is hoped that this research can provide new knowledge for readers and can also be used as a reference in using the Radec learning model in schools.

Abstract

Implementing the flipped classroom in elementary schools has become a crucial learning alternative in responding to the demands of 21st-century learning, which prioritizes active student engagement and maximizing technological utilization. This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of existing empirical research regarding implementing the flipped classroom in elementary schools to obtain comprehensive information regarding developments, potential, and challenges in its implementation. The systematic literature review followed PRISMA 2020 guidelines and utilized data from Scopus and ERIC databases. Out of f 133 articles, 29 met inclusion criteria and were analyzed using the meta-synthetic approach. The findings revealed limited progression of flipped classroom implementation in Indonesian elementary schools, with global development fluctuations. Implementation advantages included increased student engagement, comprehension, and motivation, aligning with 21st-century learning needs. Technology, particularly instructional videos, played a pivotal role, while challenges included material readiness, technology access, and parental support. These findings offer an overview of the current circumstances surrounding the implementation of flipped classrooms and highlight the potential and obstacles that need to be considered to increase their effectiveness at the elementary school level. In conclusion, integrating flipped classrooms emerges as a pertinent alternative to address the demands of 21st-century learning. Nevertheless, it is imperative to recognize that the identified challenges, coupled with the restricted implementation in Indonesia, warrant further research.
