Abstract

This study aims to describe the patterns of digital consumption and the level of media literacy among the residents of Koto Mambang Village. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 31 randomly selected respondents aged 15 years and above, complemented by brief interviews with selected participants. The findings indicate that internet usage is relatively high, with most respondents purchasing data packages monthly. WhatsApp emerged as the most dominant platform, followed by TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. In terms of information literacy, over half of the respondents demonstrated critical awareness by verifying the truth of information before sharing it, while a smaller portion still relied on others’ opinions or spread information without verification. Although nearly half of the participants were familiar with fact-checking methods, a significant proportion remained unaware or only partially understood how to implement them. These results highlight that digital literacy in Koto Mambang Village has developed, yet disparities in knowledge and verification practices persist. Further educational initiatives are necessary to strengthen media literacy skills, particularly through participatory training programs that provide practical guidance on verifying online information

Abstract

This study focuses on the notable decline in Islamic fintech financing in 2025, a development that becomes more striking when viewed alongside the simultaneous increase in the industry’s total assets. Official data from OJK indicate a sharp contraction, with financing dropping from Rp 1.58 trillion in 2024 to Rp 800 billion in 2025, suggesting deeper structural issues within the Islamic fintech ecosystem. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review, this research explores how rising credit risk—as reflected in the increase of TWP90—diminishing digital trust due to information uncertainty, weakening purchasing power, and stricter regulatory requirements collectively shaped lenders’ decisions to reduce funding supply. The synthesis of findings reveals that credit risk and digital trust play the most decisive roles in constraining financing flows, particularly in sharia-based platforms that rely heavily on transparency and contractual clarity. These results reinforce the relevance of the Crisis–Trust Model of Islamic Fintech in explaining shifts in funding behavior and highlight the need for stronger governance, improved digital transparency, and more adaptive regulatory policies to restore stability and resilience in the Islamic fintech industry.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media has established Platform X as one of the primary channels for the public to express opinions on public policy issues, including the Draft Criminal Procedure Code (RUU KUHAP). This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward the RUU KUHAP based on tweet data collected from Platform X. A total of 2,273 valid data points were obtained and utilized in this research. The selected data underwent several preprocessing stages, including case folding, cleansing, tokenizing, stopword removal, and stemming. Feature extraction was performed using the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method, while the sentiment classification process employed the Multinomial Naive Bayes algorithm, with the dataset split into training and testing sets. Model performance was evaluated using a confusion matrix alongside precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results indicate that public sentiment toward the RUU KUHAP is dominated by negative sentiment at 45.5%, followed by neutral sentiment at 32.0%, and positive sentiment at 22.5%. Performance evaluation shows that for the negative class, the model achieved a precision of 0.71, recall of 0.93, and F1-score of 0.80. For the neutral class, the precision was 0.74, recall 0.44, and F1-score 0.55, while the positive class reached a precision of 0.85, recall 0.80, and F1-score 0.82. Overall, the model achieved an accuracy of 74.07%, demonstrating that the application of TF-IDF and Naïve Bayes is effective in classifying public sentiment, despite persistent limitations in identifying neutral sentiment.

Abstract

The position of the President in the presidential system places the President's function as head of state and head of government. The unification of those functions doesn’t negate the differences in the President’s functions as head of state and head of government. This affects the President's authority in issuing decrees. The absence of such affirmation creates legal uncertainty over the resolution of the President's decision, especially the President's decision as head of state. The formulation of the problem raised is 1) how is the model of the using Presidential Decrees in terms of the President’s function as head of state and head of government; and 2) how is the competence of State Administrative Court in adjudicating Presidential Decree as head of state. The research method used normative juridical with a statutory and contextual approach. The results show there are different models of using Presidential Decrees in his position as chief of state and chief of government. Then, the President's decision regarding his position as chief of state becomes a necessity to be differentiated with following elements, First, the President issued it in his capacity as head of state, Second, the President did not have beslissing in issuing it, Third, the decision was issued by the President based on his authority obtained by attribution from the Constitution

Abstract

Abstract

Background and Aim: Blang Asan Village has economic potential in the brick production sector; however, production activities are still conventional and have not integrated innovations in construction material technology. In addition, unmanaged Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) plastic waste contributes to environmental problems. This community service activity aimed to implement a circular economy concept by transforming LDPE plastic waste into environmentally friendly construction materials in the form of eco-paving blocks. Methods: The program was implemented using an experimental and participatory approach involving local partners through socialization, technical training, and construction implementation assistance. Laboratory testing was conducted on six specimen variations molded using 3 kg hexagonal molds. The mixtures consisted of LDPE plastic waste, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, cement, and varying amounts of used oil. Compressive strength tests were performed to determine the optimal composition. Results: The compressive strength test showed that the best composition was obtained with 15% LDPE without an oil mixture, producing a compressive strength value of 24.2 MPa. Based on SNI 03-0691-1996 standards, the product met the B Quality criteria, making it suitable for parking area applications. The program successfully transferred technology to local brick craftsmen, enabling them to independently produce eco-friendly construction materials. Conclusion: The application of LDPE-based eco-paving blocks effectively reduced plastic waste while creating value-added construction products with economic potential. This program also supported the development of sustainable green economy practices in Blang Asan Village.
