Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the synergy between MSMEs and the blue economy in supporting sustainable development in the coastal areas of East Kalimantan. The research was conducted in several regencies in East Kalimantan, namely Balikpapan, Paser, Bontang, Kutai Kartanegara, and Kutai Timur. These regions were selected due to their significant maritime-based economic activities. Data collection was carried out for two months. This research employs a qualitative approach to explore the perceptions, experiences, and views of MSMEs related to the blue economy. The research results indicate that the synergy between MSMEs and the blue economy concept not only has a positive impact on improving the welfare of coastal communities but also serves as a strategic step in preserving marine ecosystems. Through strengthened collaboration among stakeholders, MSMEs can become the driving force behind an inclusive and sustainable blue economy.

This study aimed to test and analyze the effect of workload, distributive injustice and job burnout also analyzed and test the role of quiet quitting on every path of the relationship between these variables on employee performance. This Study used quantitative approach, and questionnaire was distributed via online form to 100 employees of Public Works and Highways Department of East Java Province. Hypothesis testing was carried out by using SEM-PLS algorithm through the Smart-PLS 4 Application. The results of this study indicate that workload, job burnout, and quiet quitting significantly affect employee performance, while distributive injustice does not. Additionally, job burnout significantly influences quiet quitting, whereas workload and distributive injustice do not. As an intervening variable, quiet quitting mediates the relationship between distributive injustice and employee performance, as well as job burnout and employee performance, but not workload and employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of working capital management, market risk, and investment strategy on profitability, with financial distress as an intervening variable. The research is conducted on companies with special notations listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period of 2019-2023. Quantitative Research Methods The research uses quantitative analysis with an associative quantitative approach, which is research that asks about the relationship between two or more variables. The analysis is carried out using a quantitative approach with Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) through Smart PLS 4.0 software. The results show that working capital management and investment strategy have a positive and significant impact on profitability, while market risk and financial distress negatively affect profitability. Furthermore, financial distress plays a significant mediating role between the independent variables and profitability. The model demonstrates a strong predictive ability with an R² value of 0.65 for profitability and 0.57 for financial distress. These findings suggest that efficient working capital management and appropriate investment strategies contribute to higher profitability, while market risks and financial distress pose a threat to the financial stability of companies.

Abstract

Digital marketing has evolved rapidly with advancements in technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and machine learning. One of the main innovations in digital marketing is personalization, which refers to tailoring messages, offers, and customer experiences based on individual preferences, behaviors, and past interactions with brands. This study aims to analyze how personalization in digital marketing influences customer perceived value, using the Customer Value Theory as the analytical framework. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), this research identifies the relationship between personalization and customer value across functional, emotional, and social dimensions, as well as how it impacts customer loyalty and brand equity. The study also highlights challenges related to the ethical use of data and the long-term impact of personalization on customer loyalty. Based on these findings, further research is needed to explore variations in responses to personalization influenced by culture and demographics, and to examine the role of new technologies like AI, AR (augmented reality), and blockchain in enhancing customer experiences.
