Abstract

This study investigates the incorporation of Sufi-oriented values into the management practices and production processes of MADA Drinking Water operated by the Ahlus Shafa Wal Wafa Islamic Boarding School Foundation. The research focuses on the Syafi’i ethical concept known as Giti–Gito, which encompasses spiritual and moral values including sincerity, patience, inner richness, holistic physical and spiritual well-being, as well as fairness in sharing resources. The main aim of this study is to examine how these values are implemented within pesantren-based business management and to assess their impact on employees’ work attitudes, leadership styles, and interpersonal relations in the workplace. This research employs a qualitative case study method. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and a review of relevant institutional documents. The findings reveal that the implementation of Giti–Gito values has successfully shaped a work environment grounded in religious ethics, social harmony, and humanistic principles. The Giti aspect strengthens employees’ commitment to sincerity, patience, and accountability in carrying out their responsibilities, while the Gito aspect contributes to enhancing employee welfare and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Although challenges remain in reconciling spiritual values with modern management demands, the integration of both spiritual and professional dimensions has demonstrated its effectiveness in creating a productive, ethical, and sustainable organizational environment.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah membawa perubahan besar dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah sebagai jenjang pendidikan dasar Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang diterapkan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, manfaatnya terhadap proses belajar mengajar, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai penelitian yang terbit pada periode 2021–2024. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, seperti penggunaan media digital interaktif, platform daring (Google Classroom, WhatsApp, dan digital library), serta model blended learning, mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa, memperluas akses sumber belajar, serta mendorong guru untuk lebih kreatif. Namun, keterbatasan infrastruktur, akses internet yang tidak merata, serta rendahnya literasi digital guru menjadi kendala utama. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya pengetahuan tentang transformasi digital di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah serta memberikan dasar konseptual bagi strategi implementasi yang lebih efektif dan inklusif. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengambil kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis TIK yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran unsur hiburan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang optimal, khususnya dalam meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Unsur hiburan dalam konteks pendidikan tidak hanya dipahami sebagai aktivitas yang menyenangkan, tetapi juga sebagai strategi pedagogis yang mampu mengurangi kejenuhan, membangun suasana belajar yang positif, serta mendorong interaksi aktif antara pendidik dan peserta didik. Melalui pendekatan konseptual dengan menelaah berbagai literatur terkait pembelajaran inovatif dan psikologi pendidikan, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana integrasi unsur hiburan seperti permainan edukatif, media audiovisual, humor yang relevan, serta metode pembelajaran interaktif dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan unsur hiburan yang dirancang secara tepat dan proporsional mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar, serta membantu peserta didik memahami materi secara lebih mendalam. Dengan demikian, unsur hiburan memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran dan perlu dipertimbangkan sebagai bagian integral dalam perancangan proses belajar mengajar di berbagai jenjang pendidikan

Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of religious maturation within the Majlis Ta’lim Al-Muhibbien, located in Kampung Elo, Sukamanah Village, Sukatani District. This institution functions not only as a center for Islamic religious education but also as a form of social rehabilitation for individuals who have experienced drug addiction. Through in-depth interviews and observations of the majlis caretaker, Ustadz Abdul Kholik, as well as interactions with the students, the study finds that the process of religious maturity is cultivated through the strengthening of Islamic creed (aqidah), exemplary conduct, interreligious tolerance, and special mentoring for students from diverse social backgrounds.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching affects the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in Social Studies at SD Negeri 054915. The research design is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 43 students from two classes, divided into two groups: the experimental class (n = 23), which was taught using the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach, and the control class (n = 20), which was taught using traditional learning methods. Information was collected through pre-tests and post-tests that had been tested for validity and reliability. The research findings indicate that this method has an impact on students’ critical thinking skills in Social Studies. Based on hypothesis analysis using an independent t-test, the significance value (sig. 2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach was proven effective in improving students’ analytical thinking skills in Social Studies education at the elementary school level. The control group, which did not use the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach, had an average (mean) score of 64.20, according to the data analysis. In contrast, the students in the experimental class, who were taught using the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach, achieved an average score of 74.52. These findings indicate that the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach has a significant impact on improving students’ critical thinking skills. By linking the learning material to students’ cultural backgrounds, the learning process becomes relevant, motivating, and encourages students to analyze information more deeply. The novelty of this research lies in the specific application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach in the Social Studies subject, particularly in the topic of cultural diversity, to develop critical thinking skills based on Ennis’ indicators. These findings provide supporting evidence for this approach as an effective learning strategy, and it is recommended that Culturally Responsive Teaching be more widely integrated into Social Studies education, with future research involving larger samples and long-term measurements.

Abstract

This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, aimed at determining the feasibility of the Civic Education (PPKn) pocketbook on the theme of patriotism, which includes a QR code and video examples of daily life application. The research design employed is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The subjects of this study are all students of class X E4 at SMA Negeri 12 Jambi, with small and large group trial implementations. The results of this study show the validity value from experts and teachers obtained using the Aiken index, which is V = 0.91, categorized as very valid. This indicates that the developed PPKn pocketbook on patriotism is feasible for use. The practicality of the developed PPKn pocketbook can be seen from the students' responses, with an average of 83%, categorized as very practical. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the developed PPKn pocketbook on the topics of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution for 10th grade students is both highly valid and highly practical for use.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa MTS Negeri 5 Pandeglang mengenai hubungan antara anemia dan stunting serta pentingnya pencegahan sejak usia remaja. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan interaktif dengan pendekatan Health Belief Model (HBM) dan desain penelitian pra-eksperimental one-group pretest–posttest. Sebanyak 70 siswa mengikuti kegiatan, dengan 27 siswa yang mengisi instrumen pre-test dan post-test secara lengkap. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan dari 3,74 ± 1,13 menjadi 4,85 ± 0,46 dengan nilai t = 4,73 dan p < 0,0001, yang berarti terdapat peningkatan signifikan setelah penyuluhan. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman remaja tentang pencegahan anemia dan stunting, serta mendorong pembentukan perilaku hidup sehat di lingkungan sekolah. Melalui kolaborasi antara tim pengabdian, pihak sekolah, dan Puskesmas, kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap program nasional percepatan penurunan stunting dan peningkatan kualitas kesehatan remaja

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of students’ learning experiences in IPAS learning at the elementary school level. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 079/I Desa Teluk during the 2025/2026 academic year using a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation, with the main subjects being selected sixth-grade students and supporting data obtained from the sixth-grade homeroom teacher. The results show that students’ learning experiences in IPAS learning encompass three main aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. From the cognitive aspect, students were able to understand IPAS concepts well because the learning was delivered contextually and related to everyday life. From the affective aspect, students demonstrated positive attitudes such as enthusiasm, learning interest, self-confidence, and mutual respect during the learning process. Meanwhile, from the psychomotor aspect, students were actively involved in observation, discussion, and simple practical activities that helped develop skills and strengthen their understanding of the material. These learning experiences shaped the meaning of IPAS learning as interesting, easy to understand, and beneficial for students’ lives. The meaning of students’ learning experiences in IPAS learning is influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors include learning motivation, learning interest, and students’ learning readiness, while external factors involve the role of teachers, learning strategies, learning media, and the learning environment. Positive learning experiences have an impact on increasing students’ learning interest, active engagement, and changes in attitudes and behaviors toward greater environmental awareness. Therefore, contextually designed and student-centered IPAS learning is able to create meaningful learning experiences and improve the quality of the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

In the Digital Age, digital media—especially the internet and social media—has profoundly changed the way people communicate and interact with each other. The development of this technology has provided several benefits, including the creation of virtual communities, easy access to information, and the ability to engage in discussions. In addition, digital technology influences the way people worship and improves interpersonal relationships and communication. Although digital technology offers many advantages in terms of social interaction and access to information, it is important to monitor and ensure that digital technology is used responsibly and in a way that benefits society as a whole. This study uses a descriptive, qualitative research approach with triangulation data collection, the object of this study is social media accounts used by the community. A qualitative descriptive approach is used to analyze and interpret the content of religious media. The author can analyze the text, images, or videos in religious media to understand the messages conveyed, the representation of religion, or the communication patterns that occur. Based on the results of the study, there are advantages and disadvantages in the relationship between human life and technological advances, especially mass media. Although religious messages and public understanding are greatly enhanced by mass media, there are also disadvantages, such as the spread of misleading information. To reduce the negative impact of mass media, it is important to use it responsibly and monitor it.

Abstract

Social media has become a massive medium for socialization, education, and learning, including education on minimizing waste. Moreover, almost everyone has social media nowadays, so it is not only a necessity but also a lifestyle. This includes the lifestyle of turning waste into something more meaningful and useful, one of which is by managing organic waste into eco enzymes. Eco enzymes produced from household waste management are managed by educating the community to be more prudent in managing the waste they produce. Social media is capable of providing ideas for education and socialization in various fields. The participants in this empowerment program are mostly productive-aged individuals who are familiar with social media, making this empowerment easy to understand. This empowerment is supported by several community accounts and personal accounts whose content focuses on managing organic waste and networking with other communities. Community development through this social movement can provide motivation and support for zero waste programs and movements as an effort to minimize waste for the sustainability of the environment. Because waste is not only our responsibility but a shared responsibility. Support for this program will certainly have a greater impact if it involves the younger generation.
