Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to develop aninclusive model of sustainability behaviour involvepro sustainable orientation, behavioural intention, and happiness as consequence of it. 182 participants were used in this study taken by purposive sampling which is a bachelor student. The relationships between constructs are measured after all the instruments are eligible through validity and reliability testing. The examinations were used path analysis in assessing relation among constructs.The study found that sustainable behaviour is positively predicted by pro orientation behaviour and behavioural intention. Further, all constructs affect happiness directly. The recent study contributes to extend green behaviour literatures and explore the applicability of these literatures for young generations.The implication of this study is to endorse both leaders and stakeholders to apply green life since early age. Abstract

Abstract: The factors that trigger the investment intention of Fintech P2P Lending investors in Manado is still unknown. P2P Lending is at the top of the list of Fintech Development in Indonesia at 2018 with 40% Percentage, which indicated that P2P Lending has a huge opportunity for the investors to find alternative investment instrument. This study aims to determine what factors that significantly influence the intention of P2P Lending investors in Manado to invest in P2P Lending platform. Specifically, in the scope of Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Structural Assurance. In this context, Investment Intention is defined as lender behaviour, a will to lend money on P2P Lending platform which also considered as an important step that determined lender interest toward P2P Lending platform. To test the hypotheses that Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Structural Assurance has positive significant influence on investment intention, an online questionnaire was distributed to P2P Lending investors in Manado, and the responses were analysed using PLS-SEM analysis with SmartPLS software. The result shows that only Perceived Usefulness has positive significant influence toward Investment Intention. This result concluded that the value of usefulness which bring impact for investors’ personal is a strong trigger for the investment intention of P2P Lending investors in Manado. Abstrak: Faktor yang memicu minat investasi Fintech P2P Lending di Manado masih belum diketahui. P2P Lending berada pada puncak daftar Fintech Development di Indonesia pada 2018 dengan presentase 40%, yang mengindikasikan bahwa P2P Lending memiliki kesempatan besar bagi para investor untuk menemukan instrumen investasi alternatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor apa saja yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi minat investor P2P Lending di Manado untuk berinvestasi di platform P2P Lending. Secara spesifik, dalam cakupan Kemudahan yang dirasakan, Manfaat yang dirasakan, dan Jaminan Struktural. Dalam konteks ini, Minat Investasi didefinisikan sebagai perilaku pemberi dana, sebuah kehendak untuk meminjamkan uang pada platform P2P Lending yang juga dipertimbangkan sebagai sebuah langkah penting yang menentukan minat pemberi dana pada platform P2P Lending. Untuk menguji semua hipotesa bahwa Kemudahan yang dirasakan, Manfaat yang dirasakan, dan Jaminan Struktural mempunyai pengaruh positif yang signifikan pada Minat Investasi, kuesioner daring didistribusikan pada para investor P2P Lending di Manado, dan semua tanggapan dianalisa menggunakan analisa PLS-SEM dengan software SmartPLS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hanya Manfaat yang dirasakan yang memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap Minat Investasi. Hasil ini menyimpulkan bahwa nilai kebergunaan yang membawa dampak bagi pribadi investor adalah pemicu kuat bagi Minat Investasi investor P2P Lending di Manado.

Abstract

The hospitality industry is one of the most significant contributions to the Indonesian economy. In Manado, the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic resulted in the tourism industry, especially the hotel business being very down. The purpose of this study was to determine the most preferred hotel among the three hotels (Novotel, Swiss Bell, and Four Points). And what criteria most influenced respondents to stay at the three hotels using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. This type of research approach is a quantitative method. The population in this study is people in Manado who have stayed and have experience with Novotel, Swiss Bell, and Four Points.Hotel criteria mean factors of the hotel are Price, Place, Customer Satisfaction, Advertisement, Peer Influence. Based on the result and discussion, two conclusions can be formulated, Place is the criterion that influences the most in selecting a hotel. Four Points is the most chosen hotel in Manado, Four Points became the most preferred hotel because it excels in four criteria; place, advertising, customer satisfaction, and peer influence. And in the second position is Novotel, and Swiss Bell is in the last position. Keywords: Consumer Preference, Hotel Selection

Abstract

This study will analyze the effect of store atmosphere and customer emotions on purchasing decisions at Black Cup Coffee and Roastery Manado. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence between store atmosphere and customer emotions on purchasing decisions. This research is a field research with a quantitative research model. The type of data used in this study is primary data collected using a questionnaire given to 100 customers of Black Cup Coffee and Roastery Manado. The analysis used in this study is the classical assumption test and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a negative and not significant effect of store atmosphere on purchasing decisions at Black Cup Coffee and Roastery with a t value of -0.517. On the significant influence between customer emotions on purchasing decisions at Black Cup Coffee and Roastery with a t value of 5.628. Simultaneously store atmosphere and emotions have a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a calculated f value of 21,092, which affects store atmosphere and customer emotions affect purchasing decisions at Black Cup Coffee and Roastery Manado.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of simultaneous and partial of job satisfaction, organizational commitment as an independent variable on turnover intention as the dependent variable. The methodology of this research uses quantitative descriptive. The sampling technique using simple random sampling obtained a sample of 52 employees of BETA BERLIAN MANADO. Data collection using a questionnaire while the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis processed with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed: (1) F test results showed that job satisfaction, organizational commitment and work environment simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on turnover intention at BETA BERLIAN MANADO. (2) Based on the partial test results the job satisfaction variable has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention at BETA BERLIAN MANADO. (3) Based on the partial test results the organizational commitment variable has a negative and not significant effect on turnover intention at BETA BERLIAN MANADO.

Abstract

In nowadays the presence of women is needed to bring different perspectives and solutions especially in the workplace that dominated by male workers. This research concern to challenges that female employees faced during their career in the workplaces such as glass ceiling, discrimination, sexual harassment and work-life balance also how to overcome the challenges. This research used qualitative approach. From 24 employees author took 16 informants due the sampling techniques that be used in this study is purposive sampling with the criteria of the informants those who works more than or at least 5 years. The findings of this research are ages discrimination, sexual harassment and work-life balance as a challenges for female employees at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Lahendong. Glass ceilings are not considered a challenge because the company only promotes employees who meet the qualifications for the position without see their gender. Those challenges influenced the employees performance and employees satisfactions to overcome these challenges the female employees at PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Lahendong need to develop themselves, managed time well between work and family so that it can be balanced. Keywords: challenges, female employees, glass ceiling, discrimination, sexual harassment, work-life balance

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the role of brand ambassadors on consumer purchase decision on Tokopedia marketplace. This research used Qualitative method and there were 15 informants who are domicile in North Sulawesi and confirmed to be affected by the ambassadors, they have been interviewed in order to get the result by using VisCAP (Visibility, Credibility, Attraction, and Power) Model by Rossiter and Percy as the indicators. This research shows that mostly the informants bought products on Tokopedia because of the Power, Attraction, and Credibility of the brand ambassadors, and none of them is being affected by the Visibility. To make it more specific, the informants bought things from Tokopedia to get the limited photo card of the brand ambassadors and to support their idol as the loyal fans (Power), they also bought things from Tokopedia because they find the brand ambassadors attractive (Attraction), and the last one, they bought products from Tokopedia because the brand ambassadors are professional in delivering the massage and pursuing the consumer to buy from Tokopedia (Credibility).

Abstract

A cafe or coffee shop business is one of the most popular businesses in the city of Tondano. This is marked by the proliferation of coffee shops in all corners of the city of Tondano. The number of coffee shops that have sprung up has resulted in business owners trying to win the competition. Therefore, coffee shop entrepreneurs are required to have creativity in creating beverage flavored products that are sold, so that they differentiate from other beverage products that are sold by other coffee shops and can survive the competition. In carrying out business activities in order to survive, it is important to pay attention to customer orientation, which concerns what the company must do to find its customers. The objectives of this study are to Knowthe Effect of Brand Experience and Brand Trust on Brand Loyalty at Esspecto Coffee Shop Tondano. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. Based on tTheresults of the hypothesis test found that simultaneously brand experience and brand trust had a significant effect on brand loyality at esspect, but partially brand experience has no significant effect on brand loyality at esspecto. For EsspectoCoffee to maintain and improve the quality of brand experience again so that it will make its consumers more loyal to the brand also satisfied and make them more comfortable being at Esspecto Coffee

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is very rapid. this is inseparable from the role of the internet in accessing information and communication. now the internet has become a community need, as internet users are increasing from year to year, this can be used as a potential market for ecommerce. One of the e-commerce that is in great demand by consumers is Shopee. The amount of competition in the e-commerce business requires business people to be able to understand consumer behavior in order to make purchases of the goods and services offered. Impulsive buying is an attractive consumer behavior for business people, with this impulsive action the products and services offered will be easier to sell. This study aims to determine: the impact of sales promotion on impulsive buying; hedonic impact on impulsive buying; and the impact of sales promotion and hedonic simultaneously on impulsive buying on Shopee e-commerce consumers. sampling technique using non-probability sampling. data obtained by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study was descriptive analysis using SPSS 25. The results showed that: sales promotion had no effect on impulsive buying; hedonic effect on impulsive buying; sales promotion and hedonic influence simultaneously on impulsive buying on Shopee e-commerce consumers.

Abstract

Consumptive behavior arises besides being due to meeting diverse needs, but also to follow the growing trend in the market. Therefore, marketers must be able to understand the desires and needs of these consumers, as well as the trends of the millennial generation that are in effect in order to create and develop their marketing strategies in the era of revolution. This research is intended to find out and analyze the influence between shopping lifestyle, discount and fashion involvement as independent variable towards impulse buying as dependent variable to the Shopee customer. This study used the quantitative research by spreading questioners to the customer of Shopee who shop about 120 persons. The sample was taken by the purposive sampling method. The measurement of variable used the Likert scale with the weight scale from 1 to 5. To find out the effect of X variable towards Y variable used Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The result from this research found that there is a significant influence between discount and fashion involvement toward impulsive buying on Shopee fashion product. It also means that discount and fashion involvement simultaneously influence to impulsive buying. However, the result also shows that there is no significant influence in shopping lifestyle on impulsive buying of Shopee fashion product.
