Abstract

Kampus Mengajar merupakan salah satu program dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) yang bertujuan untuk membantu sekolah yang terdampak efek pandemi COVID-19 lalu, terutama pada peningkatan literasi dan numerasi. Salah satu sekolah yang terpilih menjadi sekolah penugasan adalah SD Negeri 18 Pontianak Utara yang berlokasi di Jalan Parit Wan Salim, Siantan Tengah, Kecamatan Pontianak Utara. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa SD Negeri 18 Pontianak Utara. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dari sejak 20 Februari 2023 hingga 9 Juni 2023. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan berfokus pada implementasi lingkungan berbudaya literasi dan numerasi untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah. Implementasi program yang dilaksanakan adalah kelas mengenal abjad dengan bantuan kartu abjad, pohon literasi, pendampingan membaca di perpustakaan, jam matematika, penerapan buku diari, pembuatan karya, dan ular tangga jumbo. Hasil dari kegiatan ini ditunjukkan melalui program-program yang berjalan memberikan dampak bagi siswa yang ditunjukkan melalui meningkatnya minat belajar siswa serta meningkatnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa.

Abstract

The Effect of Administration of Pasak Bumi (Eurycoma longifolia Jack.) Roots on Lactating Mice to Increase Body Weight Pups. The roots of Eurycoma longifolia Jack have been used as a traditional medicine for aprodisiac. The effects of the root extract of E. longifolia Jack were studied on lactating mice. Each mice was administered metanol extract and its derived fractions at dose 500 mg/kg rat body weight for 21 consecutive days in lactation period. Control positive group received Moloco+B12 at dose 0,13 g/kg rat body weight, negative control (placebo) group received 2 ml/kg rat body weight of aquadest daily and normal control group. No differences between normal control, negative control, positive control, and metanol extract and its derived fractions. The administration methanol-water fraction to lactating mice increasing body weight mice pups similar to Moloco+B12.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is inseparable from the application of assessments that can accurately measure the final results of a learning process so that accurate, careful and objective assessment instruments are needed. Based on the results of an analysis of a number of findings based on the results of in-depth discussions with elementary school teachers in Kakap District, the problems that arose related to the making of learning outcomes test instruments that have been tested for reliability, include there are still many elementary school teachers in Kakap District, District Kubu Raya has not carried out the procedures for making learning achievement test instruments, especially appropriate higher order thinking tests, and there are still many teachers who do not know about the existence of software that can be used to analyze the reliability of learning achievement tests. This community partnership program activity aims to enable elementary school teachers in Kakap District to develop high-level thinking test instruments using available software so as to encourage teacher competency improvement in making reliable learning outcomes test instruments. The mechanism for implementing community partnership program activities for teachers in partner schools is carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely the planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection stages. The training participants consisted of 30 elementary school teachers in Kakap District. The results showed that there was an increase in the cognitive level in making the HOTs question instrument before and after the PKM.

Abstract

Ice cream is a kind of frozen dish that has a sweet, cold and mellow taste. The raw material for making ice cream generally uses milk, but the use of milk fat from cow's milk in making ice cream can be replaced with vegetable fat derived from plants such as coconut. The purpose of this workshop activity is to provide new knowledge or innovation for the development of processed food sourced from the natural potential of Sungai Itik Village which can be used as a business opportunity by PKK women. The method of implementing this workshop activity was carried out in three stages, namely the first stage of field survey and preparation of activity plans. The second stage of socialization is conveying the designs that have been made to the village. The third stage is the implementation of activities based on the activity plan that has been prepared. The results obtained from the workshop activities of PKK women gained new knowledge about making coconut milk ice cream and were able to sell the products that had been produced.

Abstract

Today's 21st century learning requires students and teachers to be able to adapt, have critical thinking skills, have the ability to solve problems, be able to communicate and collaborate, as well as be creative and innovative. In the 21st century learning does not only rely on knowledge but also skills. However, in reality this has not met expectations. To achieve appropriate knowledge and skills, teaching materials used by teachers should be accompanied by Student Activity Sheets (LKPD). However, there are indications that teachers have problems in preparing LKPD because most teachers do not understand how to bring up 21st century skills. The LKPDs developed are also not in accordance with learning models and methods for applying 21st century skills. Thus the LKPD making workshops conducted aim to shape teacher abilities in making good and interesting LKPD with the aim of making the learning process more qualified. The method used is socialization, various lectures consisting of delivery of material, questions and answers and discussions, as well as the practice of making LKPD accompanied by the implementing team. Workshop participants were teachers of SD Negeri 18 North Pontianak. The result of this workshop activity is that teachers understand the components that must be in LKPD, understand the steps for preparing LKPD, and are able to produce one LKPD product.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan dunia, kualitas atau mutu pendidikan juga harus terus ditingkatkan. Sebagai pendidik, guru harus mampu meningkatkan perhatian dan minat siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran sehingga dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah dirumuskan. Selain itu guru juga harus mampu menggunakan berbagai sumber serta media pembelajaran. Guru perlu mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran salah satunya dengan membuat dan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis information communication technology. Namun terdapat masalah yang biasa terjadi berupa cara penyampaian guru dan kekreatifan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran. Guru menyampaikan materi dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab kemudian penugasan, maka siswa merasa cepat bosan. Salah satu media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang dapat menjadi alternatif adalah power point interaktif. Namun, masih terdapat permasalahan yang dialami oleh guru-guru dimana mereka masih kurang dalam memanfaatkan program Microsoft Power Point sebagai media untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Sehingga workshop pembuatan power point interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kepada para guru mengenai pentingnya pembuatan media pembelajaran interakif sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar. metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, penyampaian materi, dan praktik pembuatan power point interaktif. Peserta workshop adalah para guru SD Negeri 18 Pontianak Utara. Hasil dari kegiatan workshop ini adalah para guru sebagai telah memahami langkah-langkah pembuatan power point interaktif hingga mampu menghasilkan power point interaktif yang sesuai.

Abstract

Besarnya potensi perkebunan nanas di Kubu Raya khususnya di kawasan MA Darul Ulum belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh masyarakat sekitar. Pemanfaatan buah nanas umumnya dilakukan dengan cara menjual nanas kupas secara mentah tanpa diolah terlebih dahulu. Telah ada pengolahan buah nanas menjadi keripik, namun karena minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat maka limbah kulit nanas yang dihasilkan dibuang begitu saja di lahan terbuka. Untuk itu, pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini perlu dilakukan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam pengolahan limbah kulit nanas menjadi pupuk organik cair. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan, pendampingan dan pembuatan, penyemaian, pemindahan bibit tanaman, aklimatisasi, pemantauan hasil fermentasi, pengaplikasian pupuk, pemantauan pertumbuhan tanaman, evaluasi dan penutupan pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan yang sudah terlaksana yaitu adanya pengetahuan santri putri kelas X MIA di MA Darul Ulum dalam mengolah limbah kulit nanas menjadi pupuk organik cair meningkat, dengan rata-rata persentase pengetahuan santri putri mengalami peningkatan dari 18,4% pada awal kegiatan menjadi 98% pada akhir kegiatan pelatihan. Pengetahuan tersebut dapat menjadi salah satu cara untuk menjaga kondisi lingkungan sekolah tetap bersih. Dapat disimpulkan pembuatan pupuk organik cair berhasil dan kegiatan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam pembuatan pupuk organik cair.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' learning outcomes on the topic of plant reproduction in 9th-grade classes through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology with two learning cycles to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of plant reproduction in 9th grade. In the first cycle, the average learning outcome score was 72, which is below the minimum mastery criterion (<75). Observations were made by an observer regarding the students' learning activities and the teaching process conducted by the teacher during the first cycle. These observations served as a reference for the subsequent learning cycle. In the second cycle, there was an improvement in learning outcomes, with an average score of 85, indicating that students, on average, had achieved the minimum mastery criterion (minimum mastery score 75). The classroom action research involved four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results show that the gradual application of the PBL model progressively improved students' learning outcomes on the topic of plant reproduction.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility of the human excretory system module. The method of this research used was a quantitative descriptive through the instrument of a validation sheet modules which validated by two expert validators. The aspects assessed include the feasibility of the content, language, presentation, and graphics. The results of this research showed the average aspects of feasibility of the content reached the value of 1.00 within the ‘very feasible’ category. The conclusion is the human excretory system module can be useful in teaching biology, especially in human excretory system materials.
